Quite and does the job

I picked up most of the water with my shop vac but it was still damp. I hooked up this dehumidifier and ran the drain hose to a floor drain. The humidity has dropped from 75 to 50 in 3 days. It’s really noticeably dryer down there. Reviews about it being noisy are questionable. It’s no louder than any room ac unit I’ve ever had .

DOES WHAT I NEED IT TO DO

I used it in my basement (about 24' X 36') and it reduced the humidity level very nicely. This newest Frigidaire has been on the job now for just a few days and it is likewise performing well. i am hoping to get more than 6 years from this latest model. Time will tell.
