We definitely needed the larger capacity. Continuous run was necessary for about a week since our previous dehumidifier had given out for some time before we replaced it. It doesn't have to run as long once a suitable humidity is reached. Good machine!

Using in my finished basement. Bucket seems quality plastic, not brittle like some brands. Quiet and works well. Supposedly will work well when the basement is cooler too. I had this model previously, and the circuit board or something electronic went bad after several years. I hope this one lasts longer. Best Buy had competitive price, plus I used my rewards for discount, and my power company sent me $25 too, as it is an energy star model.

I bought this dehumidifier for my finished basement which had developed a musty smell. I took a chance on this brand & model based on reviews & I've been very pleased with it's performance.
I emptied the water collection tank 8 times in about 2 1/2 weeks until the room humidity was 40-45%.
Mission accomplished for this time & I'll start it back up as the humidity increases again.
So far, I'm very pleased with this product.

I bought this after I had an A/C malfunction that caused water to leak in my basement. Even after the water was cleaned up, I found this doing a much better job pulling humidity out of the air than the moisture-absorbing crystal solution that I was using previously. It's easy to use. You just turn it on, and wait for the beep or the light to indicate the float has reached the top and filled the reservoir.

This dehumidifier replaced one that was over 30 years old. It's quiet and soaks up the moisture in the air to make the basement family room comfortable to use. Emptying the water by removing the tank from the front gets easier each time. I like being able to check and regulate the moisture level. It's a good little dehumidifier for the price.

We were having issues in our house due to humidity (>60%). Before throwing out the fridge (freezer iced over) and buying a new sliding door (lock seized), we decided to try a dehumidifier. This easily took the humidity down to a set level, which has alleviated the issues we were having. Definitely saved us money and sanity. The bucket is easy to dump and goes 1-2 days depending on conditions in our home. It’s not super quiet, but we just keep it in the basement.

Works great at its core function, removing water. It is also noticeably-less-deep than others, so it's easier to press up against a wall (and since it draws air in from the front and blows out through the top, no problem). It definitely is louder than my 9-year-old Fridgidaire, however. It's not a deal-breaker, just know that there are quieter options (and there are MANY much-louder ones).

This dehumidifier has been a phenomenal replacement for the one that quit working. It draws moisture out of our walkout basement. With the fan on high, it is quieter than our previous unit was on low fan speed. We are very pleased with this unit.

Works perfectly to pull the moisture from my basement. It brought the humidity from 75 + to now below 30 percent in less than a day and has held steady. The bucket fills fast during initial operation, but if you have a floor drain the hose is a perfect option.

I had an older model of this unit and it has lasted over 5 years. I bought this to replace a different brand of unit. It is relatively quiet, sucks up a lot of moisture, and it has a hose draining feature when you are away for a long time.

While I have only had this product for a few weeks, it has performed as I had hoped it would. Once the humidity level was set, it ran until it brought it down to the desired level. I have only two real issues with this product. (1) It is noisy. To be clear, the vibration of the machine caused the casing to "hum" and that was very annoying. I ended up sticking pieces of cardboard at strategic locations and that seem to minimize this problem This is something they could simply resolve at a very low cost. (2) Emptying and replacing the bucket is not the easiest thing to do. If someone had a bad back or bad knees then this task becomes even more difficult. They may have made it tight to try and cut down on the vibration or "humming" noise but only the manufactures know that for sure. Those two issues aside, the product works very well.

Excellent dehumidifier. Pretty average on the noise level. Easy to use. Easily swallows up the moisture and sweat off my boys when the hoard gets going. Nothing better than a good dehumidifier after a long day of killing Lannister troops.

New apartment was very humid so I went with this. Its a little loud but it gets the job done. Very easy to use and it holds so much water before it needs to be emptied so i can leave it running while im out. Im glad I bought it.

I’ve had this for over a month and have found it to be very quiet. It removes a lot of moisture from the air, i have been emptying it twice a day, and it has made a real difference in the humidity in our basement.

Really, what else can I say? It does what it says. I have it hooked up for continuous use with a four-foot garden hose and it keeps our basement at a steady 27% relative humidity. It does not have the ability to tell you the current relative humidity, but we already had a separate hygrometer. Keep those additional purchases in mind. I did not purchase this as a long-term investment. With that in mind, I expect a good few years until another replacement is warranted.
