I purchased a Whirlpool Dehumidifier last year, and had issues with it. It would not allow me to change the humidity setting, which is a big issue. I called their support line, but they were unable to help me, and told me to return the product, which I did. The reviews for this Frigidaire dehumidifier were pretty good, so I decided to give it a try, even though it cost a bit more than the Whirlpool unit. So far, it has performed flawlessly, is easy to adjust, and much quieter than the Whirlpool unit, (which my wife appreciates).

Got this to replace an openbox one that wasn't working properly. This one works great,keeps basement very dry even with all the rain. It empties easily,easy to clean filter. Very quiet! Love it.

Works great. Removed excess humidity within 3 o 4 days, initially. It's now set at 40% and maintaining it wonderfully. We have a hose connected and running to the floor drain.

So far so good. Easy to set up. I'm using a hose to let the water drain to my sump pump. It is a quiet runner. It was a great price because of the deal of the day.

The dehumidifier has been running great. For a dehumidifier it runs quieter than ones we've used in the past. It keeps up in keeping our basement dry.

I bought this to try and help with a damp crawl/basement. And it has surpassed my expectations on being able to dehumidify the space. The only problem I have had with it so far is that a screw holding the front handle/ pull on has broken free. When the bucket is full and needs to be emptied it is so heavy that the handle is a little under rated for the weight for sure. But over all I am super happy with it and would buy again without hesitation if need be

Efficient little dehumidifier. Brought our 65% humidity basement down to 45% within a week. Noise is a given like any type of cooling or heating unit.

Has large capacity tank. Works very well in my basement, I empty every day after work. Will eventually convert to continuous run by hooking up vinyl tubing.

i purchased this dehumidifier for my basement. it works great and really takes out the humidity in my basement.

The humidity of our third floor apartment would get downright miserable. Clothing and bedding and curtains felt damp. We bought this as our first dehumidifier and we’re all beyond impressed. It even makes the apartment smell fresher overall. I would recommend these to anyone, and the bin only has to be emptied once a day when the humidity outside is at it’s highest.

This is a very quiet operating dehumidifier and works well in my basement. Very easy to set the humidity level and to empty the water.

Works as advertised, easy to clean filter, and takes out the moisture from a basement without too much noise.

Had a couple inches of water get into the basement during recent storm. This helped quickly dry up the floor and walls quickly. Has humidity set point and outlet to hook up to a hose (which I found hard to use as it has to be very short distance or a hose that is pliable enough that it will lie flat. There also tends to be a small vibration in the drain pan if you don't put it exactly (not a big deal but can be irritating). We would easily get 2 full pans of water a day.

I did not go to Best Buy to purchase this dehumidifier. The one I wanted was not in stock but I needed one right away so I decided to purchase this one. It has been working well in my basement so far. My major concern is how long it will last. I used to get 10 to 15 years out of the old models but the last one lasted less than 7. You know the story they just don't make things like they used to ……. This was the first time I wasn't attacked buy sales persons and I was looking to speak to someone about this purchase but could find no one to help me and had to carry it to the casher myself. It appears to be a decent unit but I guess time will tell on how long it lasts.
