Got this product to use at work where the humidity is so high that paper curls overnight and even though the room temp is acceptable, the high humidity makes it uncomfortable. The machine works great and fills up the collection tank in about 5 hours. Definitely lowers the humidity to a more acceptable level and the rooms feels significantly cooler. Bought a second one to use in our daugther's basement that was a little "damp".

Unit is a bit quieter than the 5 year old one it replaced. Runs efficiently and empties easily.

While only about 3 weeks into use, this unit has provided constant dehumidification in a room that I never realized was so humid. I was astounded at how much water this machine pulls from a 'sealed' room. The 50 pint capacity needs to be emptied every 3-5 days, which isn't bad. The noise level may be a bit for many, but we can sleep thru just about anything, so it does not bother us. So far, so good - quite satisfied.

This dehumidifier was exactly what we needed to dry out the lower level of our home. Its portable enough to carry with its stout handle and extremely effective at removing unwanted excess moisture and humidity. Nice feature is the pullout reservoir that is not to heavy and the unit turns back on automatically when its put back in place. Great buy for the money, and we're thinking of getting another for the garage.

This is a lifesaver for my husband. Due to lung issues, high humidity makes it difficult for him to breathe. This does wonders with pulling the moisture out of the air in our bedroom. It is not quiet. It's like having a large fan set on high and it throws off some heat, but it's not unbearable by any means.

It a bit loud for a finished basement. It shuts itself off once it reaches the humidity level you set when the fan is set to low. Comes back on when the humidity level gets too high. It simply does the job. It holds a quite bit of water if needed. I'm using a hose to drain and there isn't any issue there.

I purchased this dehumidifier to replace one that would not cut off, and was fed up with the constant overflow. This unit is attractive and works as designed. Energy Star rated. I am currently using this unit in my finished basement, which is approximately 300 square feet. Keeps the area nice and dry.

Really has helped the humidity in my home, I let it run at night through the morning and It needs to be emptied everyday, but that is not a problem as long as it does it job, I also bought another one to use in another part of my house and it also works well. My allergies are no longer a big problem with these humidifiers
