I wouldn't have believed this Dehumidifier would have done such an unbelievable job of removing humidity from the inside of my home until I experienced it! When I saw almost a gallon of water in the unit each day and my humidity in the house dropping 4-5 points, I knew I was sold on this product!

Bought this two days ago, plugged it in, and it ran for about 8 hours before it was full. Basement went from 65% to 50% in about a day and a half. Now have a hose (not included but there is a port) which makes it even more convenient!

I had a different unit that started acting up after 10 years so I brought this Frigidaire last week. Alot more quiet then my last unit. I do not have a hose hooked up so I use the bucket. This bucket is half the size as my last unit so I will have to hook a hose up. So far so good

Got this because needed to lower humidity in the house. Central air brand new, but it needed some help. It pulled moisture out the air like crazy the first day it ran. I ran for a few days and the house is much better now. Wish would of bought sooner.

We purchased this as a replacement of the same item. The previous one lasted about 10 years. We keep it in the unfinished area of our basement and it runs nonstop on 50% humidity with a direct hose drainage. If this new one lasts as long, I will be happy.

So far this dehumidifier has been working great. It is being used in my apartment that was getting a very damp, musty smelling. Within two days of use the smell has gone. I was dumping a bucket of water a day. Hopefully it continues to do the job!

I had to buy this, the apartment I live in is so humid I was getting sick and there were daddy long legs everywhere! Now they are gone and my apartment feels so much better! It has taken all of the moisture out of the air and made my apartment livable

I purchased this dehumidifier to replace my 35 year old Whirlpool dehumidifier that died. I researched and found this one highly rated. Only used it for 1 day, but so far, I am pleased. I prefer to empty the bucket rather than hook up a hose.

Trying to keep the house feeling nicer, without having to leave the AC maxed out all the time. Have 1 of these in the basement, with a hose running to a floor drain. I never have to touch it. Just set the % humidity I wanted, and forget it.

This dehumidifier works great. Its quiet & really takes the moisture out of the air. We empty it once a day & that's with a full tank. Very pleased with this unit! Would buy it again!

Placed this dehumidifier in a very large basement, and it has been fantastic. Dropped humidity levels from 70 to 50 (what we set it to) in just a couple days. Well worth it!

Works well, looks nice. It's a bit heavy to move around as most are. I'm a little concerned about the reservoir - some issues removing and a little messy to empty. Water splashes around. After emptying, it will go back into place - almost. Have to whack it gently at the end.

I've had this unit for 2 seasons now. Initially it was shockingly quiet with no hum and the fan was really non-intrusive. That was summer of 2019. It looks nice, the controls are easy to use and the filter and storage tank are easy to change out. When I went to use it this year, spring/summer of 2020 it was louder. The fan itself was louder sounding like a tiny jet engine and the compressor had acquired a pretty loud hum that can sometimes be alleviated by pounding my fist once on the top of it. It's like the compressor is resting against part of the frame or casing, causing a vibration. More annoying is the fairly often "Bang" or "Clunk" that occurs a minute or two before the compressor shuts off. I've been through a number of these since buying my house 6 years ago because they simply don't last. I wouldn't say this unit is bad, but that all products of this type are just not made to last anymore. Definitely purchase the protection program. That said, it does do what it is supposed to do by removing humidity from my basement. 4 stars given because while it is loud, it does to the job it was made for.

I have had terrible luck with dehumidifiers. In the past 10 years I have yet have one last more than 3 years. This one replaces my last Frigidaire 50 pint model which lasted 1 year and 1 month. Condenser still worked OK. Other electronics failed! When working it is a great unit thus the 4 star rating. If it fails at 1 year and 1 month again then ......

The basement in my condo does not have a/c and it gets very humid down there. I could have paid a few thousand dollars to have ductwork installed there but I opted to buy this Frigidaire dehumidifier. If it didn't work well enough I figured I could return it. The only drawback would be to empty the water bucket 2x per day. I found the bucket and handle very sturdy when filled to capacity. After a few days I decided it worked so well, removing humid air that I paid a plumber to install it permanently, so I wouldn't have to empty the container... and I still saved thousands of dollars!

I had this same model and size for 10 years, until it finally succumbed to its constant use. The new one works great, and I expect it will last 10 years.

Very good product, price was right. Very easy to use. The only bad thing I have to say about it is I had flood damage and used it to take water from my carpet. Unlike the old one I used to have, the hot air blew up in the air instead of downward. This took my carpet longer to dry. Other than that it's a very good product for the price.
