    Purchased this in the beginning of August, worked great up until it stopped working in January... No one to contact to help in this matter if you didn't pay for geek squad service even though the item is barely five months old and should be covered in a year warranty. WAS TOLD TO CONTACT A STORE TO BRING IT BACK IN BUT NO ANSWER AT ANY ACTUAL LOCAL STORE... WILL NEVER MAKE A PURCHASE LIKE THIS ONLINE AGAIN!!!

    Disappointed for a Frigidaire

    Had to replace my old 12,000 BTU window unit. Purchased the new 12,100 BTU unit only to find out it was taller, barely fitting into the window and the blower ran slower producing less cooling than the old unit. Frigidaire has always put out a good product in the past but this time was very disappointed.

      Hey George, I am terribly sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your A/C and that the unit was taller than you expected. I recommend adjusting the temperature to a more colder setting. Also, if the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. I hope this information is helpful.     item was described as "open box - excellent" but not only was it bashed up, the controls on the unit were totally dead. None of them worked! However since it was passed the short return window they refused to do anything.

    Ran for 2 days then started smelling like something is burning. Had smoke in room and needless to say am returning it tomorrow.
