This 70 pint dehumidifer was for a basement with a little over 1000 sq feet. The ease of set up to our furnaces condensate pump via a simple garden house was fantastic. The unti was up and running in about 10 minutes from the box. Within 24 hours the basement felt less damp. Follow the directions and run it at "CO" for the first 24-48 hours to bring your space to where it should be humidity wise then set your desired percentages.

I love this dehumidifier! It really pulls the moisture out of our basement; it’s pretty quiet; collects a decent amount of water; the handles on the water bucket make it easy to empty; and I bought it for less than the current model because it’s the previous 70pt model. Can’t think of any negatives.

This dehumidifier is so quiet when it is running. We can hardly hear it when it is on in our basement. It works great and is very easy to empty and move around the room.

Used for new home and worked amazingly well to reduce the amount of humidity and damp smell. It was easy to set up and the adapter for the hose was also accessible. Love that I can set timer now that humidity is under control.

I needed a new dehumidifier after my year old one was recalled. This does a very good job at pulling the humidity out of the air but it fills up the small reservoir bucket in about 1 1/2 days. The noise is a little loud, being that it is in a finished basement. Overall, this is a good product that does it's job well!

It’s easy to set up, clean the filter and empty. It’s certainly an upgrade from my old Kenmore.

We live in Hawaii and it is always really humid, and it is the worst during summertime. This dehumidifier has helped us be comfortable in our own home. We leave it on overnight when we sleep and it is so much more comfortable. It's easy to use. Wish we could plug it into plumbing so we don't have to empty it 1-2X a day, but still worth it.

Only using a month yet. It's pulling moisture from the air and turning off when full--so working as it is supposed to. Easy to use.

I needed a dehumidifier for my basement. I researched around and discovered this 70-Pint Frigidaire. There were various reviews, some complaining about the noise, but I concentrated on its efficiency. I have always found the Frigidaire brand reliable. Although larger than my previous 50-pint other brand (which was loud and stopped working), this unit is relatively quiet and does the job it was purchased for. My basement is comfortably dry and the water bin is easy to empty and replace. The controls are simple and I am happy with it.

I followed the very simple instructions and everything worked as stated in the instructions. It is working great in keeping our basement from being too humid and musty smelling. Glad I purchased this humidifier.

We needed a new dehumidifier for our basement. This time we went with a 70-pint model. We’ve had pretty good luck with Frigidaire units before; so far, this is no exception. It handles our large basement well and is much quieter than the unit it replaced. Perhaps with a better size match to our basement this one will last; we usually only get about 3 years out of a unit and we’d like to get more.

The product was set up and running within a short time frame. I had to replace my former dehumidifier that was recalled. That was a Frigidaire as well. The swap out was easy and clean. To all dehumidifier users be sure to vacuum the filters periodically and I found mineral build in the drain hose near the dehumidifier. That should be cleaned periodically as well. The true test will be longevity with this unit which can not be measured at this time.

This item has been a life saver to our travel trailer. It’s easy to use. It’s not loud which allowed my family to sleep at night. The instructions on how to use it were very user friendly. We ran it day and night for weeks on end to make sure no moisture accumulated on the walls of our trailer which this item did the trick. Definitely highly recommend.

I’m 3 days in - it works like a charm. As far as I’m concerned if this thing breaks down in one or two years, I’m buying another one - I can’t live without it!
First off, I live in New York City and I live in a studio (approx 300 sq ft) on the first floor, it gets super humid in here. The humidity outside gets to about 90% at night time, in my apt it’s much worse. Air conditioner I’m not gonna bother, work smarter.
I’ve been primarily running this thing non-stop before I go to bed. The biggest difference I noticed immediately is that I sleep through the night and I don’t wake up with a stuffy nose and sneezing nonstop. Before, the dehumidifier I was suffering and went to work cranky. Now, I feel like I’m way more functional.
Another thing I noticed is when I shower, my mirror doesn’t steam up. My bathroom is a good distance away (about 40-50 feet) from the dehumidifier, so the reach is impeccable.
I run this machine overnight for about 9-10 hours and I get about 3/4 the bucket full of water in the morning. Dumping the water is a breeze (it’s a littler over a gallon - handle with care)
Other than that the thing is heavy, grateful for the wheels - it was a pain to get out of the box though, almost dropped it on my foot.
I give two thumbs up for this one, it’s a heavy duty machine. Treat it with TLC and it will be good to you.

This thing has worked well so far. I have had it a couple of weeks. After moving into a 3rd floor apartment in an old building with window air in the Southeast, the window AC's inability to remove moisture from the air was intolerable. With this unit, I empty it at least once per day with temperatures in the 90s, and it helps the air in the apartment feel cooler. I purchased this over other brands because of the brands reputation and because a family member has had one running for several years in her basement.

This dehumidifier works well. The large capacity bucket is very nice, we only have to empty it once a day. The unit is very quiet. The only complaint I have is that the filter is not as easy to access as in other models. Overall, this is a great purchase.
