    The refrigerator we purchased was icemaker optional. The space we installed the refrigerator in had a waterline available. We have had issues with a Frigidaire icemaker in a side by side refrigerator. We are hoping for better success with this basic design.

    We added this ice cube maker to a new simple basement refridg we use for the downstairs bar. I makes good ice cubes but not very quickly. Our delivery men (Neil and Colby) were excellent in setting up the new refridg and taking the old one away.

    The initially the ice maker installation was done wrong and did not work. Had to wait another week to have a 2nd installed. This time it was done right. Ice maker works fine.

    The icemaker works great but be warned, the factory has a history of installing this icemaker incorrectly. Best Buy came out to reinstall and now, all is well.

    It took me a while to figure out the instruction not ever installing one before. It took nearly a week for the maker to fill the bucket of ice also. I would recommend paying someone to install next time

    Cheap ice maker in a cheap work fridge. Best buy guys hooked up at delivery and i did run to water pipe. Makes ice fine but a little slow but cant complain because it was free
