This was the recommended ice maker for the refridgerator purchased and did not make ice. Had three different ice makers sent and none of them made ice.

This is exactly what we needed for our Frigidaire unit. It took about 24 hours to really begin producing ice (make sure to set freezer to the coldest temp setting to get it going). It stops producing ice when it's full, which is great (no overflowing!). I would suggest getting it professionally installed, the delivery guys installed it for us.

My ice maker stopped working after 3 months. It appears cheaper to completely replace than pay someone to come out and look at it and fix it which is a shame. I would not buy this item again.
