    Purchased this after my 3 year old LG fridge died and was recommended to buy this brand. Due to availability and sizing requirements, this was one of the few I could actually choose from. I've only had it for 4 days, but I am considering returning it. It appears to freeze and cool food just fine, but is absurdly loud. When the repairman came for my original fridge, he noted that he could hear the compressor (which was busted) just from walking into the house. This fridge can easily be heard in every room of my home, I have had to close my bedroom door at night to try and block it out. When watching a movie in the living room (adjacent to kitchen), I needed to nearly double the usual volume the TV is at just to try and drown it out and hear dialog over it. Frigidaire support appears to state that it will quiet down once it reaches the set temperature (which if it hasn't by now is another problem), but it honestly seems to have just gotten louder over the last two days. It doesn't necessarily sound like something is broken, it's just an ever-present loud drone, like a large box fan set on high. It doesn't even stop when the doors are opened like one might expect. It should also be noted that in the Q&A on the product page Frigidaire support states that the dispensed water is chilled, but it is in fact not, as confirmed by the user manual. There is a hidden follow-up answer in the Q&A from Frigidaire stating that it does not chill the water, but I did not see that until after delivery. I will give it a few more days, but if it doesn't quiet down (even if it's just for periods of time), then it will be returned. There is no reason why a functional fridge should be running the fan/compressor 24/7.

    Works well and looks good. The fan is noticeable but not annoyingly loud. Some noise when water and ice are moving within the refrigerator.

    The first fridge I received came with a defect as the water/ice would not come through. I was concerned because it was EXTREMELY loud however I trusted previous reviews and knew it was the fridge I received. Best Buy replaced the ridge and my new one (same model) is quiet, working as expected! No new complaints!

    I always thought people who got really excited about appliances needed a life. I've gotta say, either I need a life or this is one awesome refrigerator. The LED lights turn on gradually as you open the door, like a luxury car, the refrigerator doesn't run with the door open, conserving energy, it's roomy inside and beautiful inside. So far, I am completely satisfied. Best of all, it fit the space I had for it as if they were made for each other. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit, I actually hugged it, but only like twice.

    The fridge worked fine for almost a year. 2 weeks short of 1 year (and thankfully still under warranty), the display started getting wonky. While pulling ice, it would automatically shift from cubes to crushed. Then the display was stuck there. I couldn't switch back to cube, couldn't get water. Eventually it just magically starts working again. It does this every single time I try to get ice. I have been waiting a month for the warranty co to fix it. 2 weeks in a tech came & said he was going to replace the board, but the warranty co needed to authorize it. It's been a week, and I'm STILL waiting for authorization. In the meantime, the display now reads 1degree in my fridge, and -16 in the freezer, and food is freezing in the fridge. I bought the extended warranty for this, and I'm very glad I did, because at this point, I don't trust this fridge to last. I would 100% NOT recommend this!

    What has happened to quality control at Frigidaire

    First one BB delivered had circular holes on the backside covered with blue tape (obvious defect in the manufacturing process in Mexico) The delivery crew failed to run water thru dispenser to test their handy work, and the first time we tried it flooded underneath the fridge. The replacement also had circular holes on the back with blue tape as well as a big dent on the side cabinet. The delivery crew spotted it and took picture and said for me to contact BB and they will give a discount, and BB did. The quality of Frigidaire is NOT what is was in years past and I do not recommend.

    Great replacement for our old Frigidaire

    This was an upgrade compared to an old Frigidaire side by side. Better shelving and easier to use controls. Only issue is the same that other consumers have noted, i.e. the design of the lower pullout drawers. The drawer edge slides against the inner door. No scratching, but you have to ensure door is fully open to open the drawer.

    I absolutely love this counter depth fridge! I wanted a smaller side by side and this is perfect for me. It’s well made and even ice maker is quiet. Stainless steel doors are fingerprint resistant too! If you’re looking for smaller, counter depth fridge this is for you!

    I’ve had this refrigerator for 3 months and the freezer has broken down 3 times. This has been one of the worst purchases of my life. Since it first broke down 20 days after it was delivered, we were outside of Best Buy’s 15-day return policy, so we had to go through Frigidaire’s customer support to try and get help… which has been a horrible process of waiting on hold, having scripts read to me and taking time off work on 3 different occasions for a local repair company to come out and get it patched up. I have lost all faith in this product. Luckily I didn’t lose a freezers worth of food 3 times – I know that’s not covered under their manufacturer warranty. I feel utterly helpless and like I’m stuck in a constant loop of dealing with this. I guess the only redeeming quality of this product is the "HI" temp warning that alerts you WHEN (not if) your freezer is going out so if you’re lucky enough to be home when it happens you can try and save your food. Oh... another heads up to people, be very careful removing the protective film from the shelves and drawers. The protective film peeled off the silver finish on the edges.

    Excellent refrigerator. Love being able to get water, ice or crushed ice by just tapping. The salad crispers work as listed which is unbelievable. My salad and vegetables stay fresh at least a week more than standard ones. A masterpiece of workmanship. Plus, through Geek Squad, they hauled my old fridge and set up my new one in about 45 minutes. No stress.

    Received damaged. Corner was smashed and pin inoperable. Most of the plastic interior pieces are shattered as a result of the impact. Customer service was a joke at all levels. Doors won't open and definitely won't close. Buyer beware. This was part of a remodel where all appliances were Frigidaire/Best Buy so I'm completely disappointed in the brand and their customer loyalty from both Best Buy and Frigidaire.

    Good features but difficult to level so that the doors align. Never got it quite right with my basement floor not being very level. If your floor is perfectly level you may not have a problem. It worked well, but the installers didn't tighten the water line properly and had a small leak at the connection. I exchanged it for a more expensive 3-door model.

    It’s a good looking fridge. I had to have a shallow - counter depth - fridge and this fit the bill. It appears to cool/freeze adequately. Other than that, I really don’t like this fridge. The doors have to be open almost 180 degrees to be able to open the drawers inside. My fridge has a wall on one side so I had to leave a space of 8 or so inches for opening the door. I didn’t plan to have to open it quite that wide - I guess that’s my error. But additionally, one of the doors drags. This is the 3rd unit delivered over the course of 3 months and the delivery team couldn’t install any of them without this problem to some degree. The fridge is noisy. I read extensively about the noise but in my opinion it’s noisy. It also makes a low beeping sound sporadically. The interior drawers feel thin and brittle. The silver edging comes off. I’m going to get baskets for the freezer bc baggies of frozen food don’t stack well and tend to slide out. My delivery experience was not positive so that may impact my opinion somewhat. But the reason I stuck with it was because I wanted this fridge to be great. I am disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it except as a last choice due to space constraints. *please note each delivery team was punctual and professional. They did their best but the fridges kept arriving with damage. Even the one I’m keeping has a dent - just not nearly as bad as the others.
