I looked at units that were double the price and this had the features I needed and looks great.

The refrigerator overall is great so far except for one problem. There is a loud whistle noise coming out every hour sounding like the pipe is trying to squeeze the water out. It last about 10-15 seconds eac time. I called the Geek Squad to check it and it was not a good experience. First I was not able to understand him very well due to English is his 2nd language. I had to ask him to repeat for 2-3 times. Then he was at my house for 30 minutes and spending 15-20 trying to understand his troubleshooting that there is nothing wrong and the loud noise is natural due to the ice maker taking in the water. Then he started talking something about all other brands and history!!! OMG!, I was rushing to work and running late, I do not need to be educated about the history of the make of all brands!! The problem is not fixable per the technician

I purchased this refrigerator for my elderly father. We needed counter-depth and didn't want to spend a ton of money. He loves the ice and water in the door! The finish looks nice and seems easy to clean (resists fingerprints). Others have noted excess noise, but we have not experienced that. The plastic compartments in the door and sliding bins seem a bit flimsy, but they are adequate for our needs. This was a lower priced model, so one would not expect to have all of the bells and whistles available on higher priced models.

It is hard to find a counter depth refrigerator without spending lots of money. I have had this unit for a month and it is performing just fine. My only complaint is the noise and ease of opening the top drawer when I have weight on the shelf above. My favorite options are the gradual lighting of the interior lights when the door is opened and the crushed ice.

this fridge has plenty of space inside. it does make some noise when running but that's no problem. My only negative is the shelf on the bottom of the fridge door. It's not deep enough to hold anything except salad dressing bottles .

this is a great counter depth fridge for the money... I'm not sold on the side by side as I prefer the top fridge and Bottom freezer ... the water filter seemed to run out faster then it should but overall great fridge great price especially for counter depth...

Had for a couple months now, no issues. It can be a little loud at times but we have gotten used to it and it works great!

I absolutely love this smudge proof fridge! I was afraid I would miss the extra space by getting the counter depth but it has not been a problem at all. I love the gallon door storage!

We have had this refrigerator for 6 weeks. So far we are pleased with it. It has a nice finish. It is bigger on the inside than I expected. Our only complaint so far is the ice maker. When you try to get ice, It gets filled up and then a lot of ice flies out at a rapid pace.

Pleased with value. Drawers are squeaky. Sometimes humming noise very noticeable. Overall good value for the price. Brushed metal is the way to go. No fingerprints.

I owned this fridge for over 2 years, but when I sold my town home the fridge went with the deal. I liked it so much that I bought the same model again. Granted it does not hold as much as a conventional design, but the way it fits better in the kitchen more than offsets that. The only disappointment I had was with Best Buy. They did not honor the 10% coupon in the movers kit from the Post Office. I never did get a good reason why.

The refrigerator exceeds my expectations with exception of two areas. The first is the ice cube Shute sometimes jams up and spills cubes on the floor. The second is the cold water is not cold enough.

Its not a high end fridge with all the bells and whistles, but is is a solid fridge for the amount you are paying for. The drawers do not have a wheel/slide mechanism. Its just plastic on plastic.

Needed a counter depth fridge, and wanted stainless, but not bright/shiny, else not match dark decor of remodel. Though not black stainless, the finish is not shiny and looks better than others in same class. Few minor issues are that it's a little noisy, and the drawers froze produce at mid settings, so need to back off. So far, so good. Been about 4 weeks. Seems to be very good value for high-end features at reasonable price. Prior fridge was same manufacturer and served us well for ~20 years. Hope this lives up to the same.

I read online that it was a good refridgerator, everyone tho, commented on how loud it was and yes it is loud but I like it. The ice is perfect.

The refrigerator is about a month old as this review is written and no issues. It does seem to be a little louder than the old refrigerator but not too bad. The water and ice dispenser has worked flawlessly. The Best Buy Delivery crew did a good job on installation. My biggest concern is the warranty is only 1 year. The old refrigerator was 5 years and I thought that was short when it was purchased ten years ago. My research shows that most refrigerators have gone to ONLY 1 year warranties.

Overall pretty good. Its a counter depth so the storage space is limited. Also it tends to run loud; not all the time but it makes a high pitched noise periodically. Good for the money though.

Not much choice in counter depth size. This was the cheapest "nice" option. Door squeaked a day after install but was replaced under warranty. All in all it's a decent fridge but it could be quieter, and the layout is not ideal. I think a bottom freezer would work better - not a ton of space on the fridge side as it is. But a good price, so you get what you pay for !

We had just bought our first house and a week into it, the 20 year old Amana that was left took a dive into death. Fortunately it was still Memorial Day sales so I ended up purchasing this model. I needed counter depth and this was the least expensive in the style I wanted. It's a nice fridge and certainly an improvement from the magic chef top freezer type we had in our apartment. I haven't experienced any issues with unusual or troublesome noises yet but there are some annoyances with the overall design that other reviewers have mentioned. The ice chute will get clogged from time to time and you don't realize it until the door is full of ice. So you have to open the door, have ice spill everywhere and scoop the ice out by hand. My spouse seems to dislike the placement of the water dispenser (it's way up towards the front so you will often position your glass closer to the lever and the water will miss your glass) but it's something I've adjusted too. The door storage in the fridge leaves much to be desired. There's really no space for condiments. I liked the idea of the shelves for cans but didn't realize how much door space would be given to them. I wish you could take them out and replace them with more shelves instead. The vegetable drawers don't pull out very smoothly. I'm worried this will lead to breaking them down the road. In the end, I needed counter depth and I got it at a good price. But with any budget purchase, some sacrifices will be made.
