Would have been five stars but the upper rack roller design is a weak point.

Inside racks are loose, move off tracks easily, and seem like they are cheaply made.

I've only had my dishwasher for just over a month but like it very much. It's quiet and gives multiple options for cleaning. My only complaint is that it doesn't leave the top rack dishes completely dry after the cycle is complete.

Moved into new home and needed to upgrade the kitchen appliances. Went with the Frigidaire "Gallery" product line. Dishwasher looks and works great. Very easy to use but the inside components that actually hold the dishes while being cleaned seemed to be a little flimsy and most of our wine glasses won't fit in the top glassware rack.

So far, no complaints. It seems to work well, though stuck on food is a bit challenging... I'd pre-wash any casserole dishes with burnt on stains. This will not do a lot to loosen them, though I'm not sure any dishwasher would. The upper rack feels a bit flimsy as you pull it out, but overall, I'm pleased with the dishwasher for the price.

We have had this dishwasher for a grand total of 3 days and it will be returned tomorrow. The layout for the top rack is terrible. The fold down things to put silverware on etc don't have the option to be in the up position. If you raise then up, you cannot slide the drawer back in. The front middle of the rack is a complete waste of space. I don't know if we have a defective one but the top rack also does not glide in like it should. You have to wrangle with it for it to go in. And after all this, it is incredibly loud. We could barely hear the tv while we ran the first cycle of dishes. Needless to say, we will be taking this back first thing tomorrow morning. For $450 I expected a much better quality product.

Very quiet, lots of wash options, though we hardly use any but the normal wash. The only thing I don't like is that on the bottom rack there are small prongs in the center, which I'm still trying to figure out what they are for! They are to short to hold up small plates, and by having them there they prevent me from being able to place pots / pans / bowls that are laying down exactly how I would prefer to have them. I feel like I could cram more into my previous washer, even though they were the same size, based on how the prongs are laid out. But this washer is definitely a nice machine!

Very happy with this dishwasher! Does a good job cleaning, runs very quiet. I really like the flexibility for arranging the tines on the bottom rack, depending on size of pieces I put in. Haven't had any problems, I do wish the upper rack especially was a little more sturdy. It seems a bit flimsy to me.

This is a nice dishwasher. It works well clean as nice and only leaves a little water on some plastic. I might have to adjust the rinse aid for that. It holds a lot of dishes and it takes a couple of hours to do a load but they say it saves on energy. I don't like the silverware basket on the door so I have it in the racks. Other than that it's great.

I would give this dishwasher at least 4 stars IF it would dry my dishes. I've had this unit for 2 weeks and my wife and I are really regretting this purchase. This is replacing another Frigidaire dishwasher that came with the house we bought 6 years ago and were very happy with. Every load of dishes with this new unit have come out dripping with water, even if they are left in there all day. The additional time with the "Sahara" dry setting does not seem to dry the dishes any more than the regular heat dry. Frigidaire was a brand I could trust and was happy with, but this is really testing my brand loyalty. Other than drying, it does an excellent job with cleaning and is quieter than our old unit. Looks sleek, too. Top rack is a little awkward with design and layout, but I can get used to that. BUT NOT HAVING TO TOWEL DRY EVERY LOAD OF DISHES. If you want to have your sig other tell you every day that the dishwasher is not doing it's job, then buy this product.

      Hello, Adam.

Thank you for your recent review of your Frigidaire Dishwasher.

I feel awful to hear you are not getting the best drying performance from your unit.

Did you know? Your household water pressure along with the water temperature plays a key role in your appliance’s performance. I recommend checking your water temperature and pressure; the recommended temperature should be 49°C (120°F) and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi). Also, try increasing the amount of rinse aid you are using.

      Hope this helps.

Should the above suggestions prove ineffective, please give us a call. Our team will be happy to assist you and your tenants further; we can be reached at 888 203 1389. Our Customer Care Team is available Monday through Friday from 8am-8pm EST.

      Regards-
      Derrick Frigidaire

I got this on clearance as an open box item. I only gave it 4 stars be cause it had a small ding on the front (barely noticeable though). Otherwise, I love it. It was a huge upgrade from our other machine and work so much better, and best of all: its amazingly quiet. I used to have to turn our TV in the other room up when our old dishwasher was on, but now I can barely hear this one when I'm standing right next to it. As for its functionality, I have yet to see a spot on a glass or any food left on a plate, no matter how you pack this thing. I love how modular it is. The upper rack raises and lowers to accommodate larger pans down below. You have holders for stemware up top as well as plenty of room for taller glasses and mugs. Truly, you can't go wrong with this machine.

I've only used my new dishwasher several times, but I am very happy so far. The dishwasher is much quieter than the Maytag it replaced. The dishes have come clean without much rinsing beforehand. I like the layout. My tall wine glasses don't fit in the top rack though. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the interior was gray (with the black dishwasher). Nicer than the white I was expecting (though not as nice as stainless of course). I had a pleasant experience buying the dishwasher. The sales associate was helpful and did not try to upsell me. I bought this during a free delivery and installation promotion. The installers came early, removed my old machine, and installed the new dishwasher quickly. There was an unexpected charge to install a water hammer arrestor, which the installers said was required to meet a change in code.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Best Buy and Frigidaire

Purchase a Frigidaire (Electrolux) dishwasher December 15th 2016 from Best Buy. We have had a servicer out 4 times for the dishwasher because the top rack doesn't close properly and binds when pushed 1/2 way in. The rollers are shredding every time the rack is pushed in. I was told by service company that this is a manufacturer defect and that I should ask for a replacement because this model cannot be repaired. I have this in writing on the service invoice. I had servicer come out again and replace the parts that Frigidaire tech line suggested. Problem still existed immediately after service rep installed parts. Frigidaire (Electrolux) customer care rep told me that the unit is functioning properly when the servicer actually said that they replaced the parts and there is nothing more that they can do, unit needs replacement. Frigidaire (Electrolux) are refusing to stand by their warranty and replace the product because, as the customer service rep stated, "the door shuts and cleans the dishes". I am completely dumbfounded how this company can clearly not see that this is a defective product from the service reps comments and mine and still refuse to do anything - This is very unfair and horrible customer service for a brand new product that doesn't work as it should. I want this unit replaced with one that functions as it should. I spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy to redo my kitchen and this is the only appliance that I didn't buy an extended warranty for so they refuse to help in any way! BEST BUY IS DOING NOTHING TO HELP!!! BEWARE!!! What horrible business practice all the way around

This unit runs very quietly. The smudge-proof finish is nice. The controls location is horrible. First, the instructions need to say that you have to cycle the controls on/off (ie kill the power and restart a few times) when you start the unit up initially. I thought I had a dead dishwasher until I did this and waited about 10-15 seconds. The control panel is a bit fussy. But the biggest limitation is that you have to make your cycle choices and push start before you shut the door since the controls are hidden while running. During and after the cycle, it is difficult to know what is going on since all the idiot lights are mostly hidden. They should have put the indication lights on the front where you can see them. The unit does look sleek. It takes quite a pull/push to open/close the door (seems to be a Frigidaire trademark design - see microwave review). The tall tube makes for having to bend WAY over to open the door and pull out the lower rack. And take care that you hold onto the lower rack when pulling it out. It comes out fast and there are NO STOPS. The first time I tired it, the rack almost rolled off the door. All-in-all, a solid B for a quiet nice looking unit with a few quirks. By the way, don't forget to purchase the 3/4" hose to 3/8" compression 90 degree water connection adaptor and good 6' stainless braided hose and electrical cord separately because they don't come with the unit. You have to do your hookups while the microwave is pulled out, because the tall tube is so close to the floor it would be difficult otherwise. Also, have someone with long skinny arms available to reach the rear height adjusters (and the left one cannot be accessed with the water supply connected), they are hard to get at and take a 5/32" socket with a short-arm wrench to turn once the unit is in place.
