I am really impressed on how quiet this dishwasher is. When I used our older dishwasher I had to increase the volume on our TV set but when I used this dishwasher for the first time I was not even sure if it was on! Cleans the dishes well and it matched our other gallery series appliances having the smudge proof finish making it easy to keep clean.

Good wash, quiet, but small & feels cheaply made.

This model is good for the price. It is noticeably smaller inside than the older Gallery model this replaced, but also noticeably quieter. I've had it for about a month now, and it cleans pretty much anything I put in it. Controls are easy to use, though I have noticed that there is a slight crevice in the top panel where the controls are. It looks nice, and I think is meant to be there. However, (and maybe this is an installation issue), if there is any of the dishwasher that extends past the edge of your counter, crumbs etc. will fall onto the panel and can get stuck in that crevice. Not too big a deal, but I'd prefer the entire top panel be perfectly smooth. Two first things I noticed about this dishwasher, as with most anything these days, it seems cheaply built, which it must be to be priced so much below other models. The door can easily twist when open, so be sure to hold it in the middle of the handle and gently close it. It is also smaller than the other model, and only has two positions to adjust the top rack. They seem to be about 1/16" difference in height from each other, so I'm not sure why being able to adjust it was necessary. Anyway, so far no problems, and it cleans, and is quiet. So for the price, I'm not complaining.

This is a fairly good dishwasher. Size is just perfect, it's pretty quiet and looks great. I was contemplating to purchase the same style but with stainless steel inside - as they say that makes a dishwasher more quiet. But this works still fairly quiet and taken under considerations price - it was a good purchase. My one complaint - my dishes don't always come out dry. There are some cycles (I think it's the air drying) when the water is still on dishes. Overall I'm very happy with this product.

Great dishwasher, Quiet, cleans very well. We owned this dishwasher now for couple of months and have never been disappointed by it. It is very quiet cleans extremely well. I wish it had a stainless steel tub for aesthetic purposes however it works so well that we don't mind the plastic tub. I had purchase a samsung dishwasher for a lot more money for a property I used to live in and now I rent out and this frigidair is a much better dishwasher. It is more quiet easier to install connect and most of all everything always comes out clean out of it. I am extremely happy with this model.

I was super skeptical about buying this model as the prior reviews were so negative and some said their dishwasher smelled horrible. I had a Samsung dishwasher, very pricey, that I thought did an adequate job cleaning. Our kitchen cups always looked dingy which I thought was to be expected since they are so old. However, the repair tech from Samsung recommended we get a cheaper machine with the plastic interior and he told us they work just as well. So, we bought this model and it is a total shock, but our aged cups look like new; perfectly clean in and out. Since the prior reviews were negative, I kind of decided ahead of time that I was going to hate this dishwasher and so I tried to do things like overfill it, never rinse dishes, leaving egg yolk stuck to plates and generally really being completely unconcerned as to how terrible the dishes would turn out since I thought if they did my husband would have me return it to get a better machine. Well, I was totally off base and so are the prior reviews! The dishes are so perfectly clean, it is incredible. The Samsung didn't do half as well and I always rinse my dishes for that machine. This one is a work animal and I am impressed and no much impresses me about washing dishes. I can't complain at all. I have had this machine for five months and it still performs perfectly and I still overfill it and never rinse dishes and it has never failed or smelled...at all. Which makes me wonder if the other reviewer used soap.. At any rate, this is a fabulous deal and a great price for a machine that really does an amazing job.

This unit runs very quietly. The smudge-proof finish is nice. The controls location is horrible. First, the instructions need to say that you have to cycle the controls on/off (ie kill the power and restart a few times) when you start the unit up initially. I thought I had a dead dishwasher until I did this and waited about 10-15 seconds. The control panel is a bit fussy. But the biggest limitation is that you have to make your cycle choices and push start before you shut the door since the controls are hidden while running. During and after the cycle, it is difficult to know what is going on since all the idiot lights are mostly hidden. They should have put the indication lights on the front where you can see them. The unit does look sleek. It takes quite a pull/push to open/close the door (seems to be a Frigidaire trademark design - see microwave review). The tall tube makes for having to bend WAY over to open the door and pull out the lower rack. And take care that you hold onto the lower rack when pulling it out. It comes out fast and there are NO STOPS. The first time I tired it, the rack almost rolled off the door. All-in-all, a solid B for a quiet nice looking unit with a few quirks. By the way, don't forget to purchase the 3/4" hose to 3/8" compression 90 degree water connection adaptor and good 6' stainless braided hose and electrical cord separately because they do not come with the unit. You have to do your hookups while the microwave is pulled out, because the tall tube is so close to the floor it would be difficult otherwise. Also, have someone with long skinny arms available to reach the rear height adjusters (and the left one cannot be accessed with the water supply connected), they are hard to get at and take a 5/32" socket with a short-arm wrench to turn once the unit is in place.

I am on my second dishwasher. The first one stopped working after one use. I called geek squad. Took them a week to come out! The guy took my BRAND NEW dishwasher apart, didn't like seeing that! Needed a new door switch. That would take another week, for the part to come in! Not happy about that at all. I had them install a new one! Second one works very well, so far, really quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes! :) Glad I bought, the 5 year warranty, though!!!

My last replacement dishwasher was over 20 years ago! Now I know they are not suppose to sound like a train coming through the kitchen and that every piece of food is actually removed and the dishes really can shine! Yes, after only 2 weeks with this unit I am very satisfied. Only negative is its lack of noise makes me forget I turned it on.

Bought this in a deal for $399. Have had it for a month now and its been good. Its a very quiet dishwasher and looks sleek. I do wish the sahara dry option should dry the dishes better as some dishes are still wet even with sahara dry option. It does clean the dishes very well though.

Our old dishwasher konked out and we saw this item on BB website. Very good (value) price and good brand reputation. Have been using for past 3-4 months and can say it gets the job done. We're a busy family of 4 (both Mom and Dad working professionals), both kids in school. Couldn't be happier with the product.

After searching many on-line reviews of dishwasher's in this price range I settled on this make and model of dishwasher as the one I would purchase. How happy I was to find it on sale at such a great price. It cleans the dishes very clean and is relatively quiet. Since my last dishwasher cost me more than double the money I wasn't sure what to expect. I can now say that this dishwasher gives me a lot more bang for my buck. Cleans and drys better than my more expensive DW. We will only know with time how long it last.

We had this dishwasher in the previous home. When we moved into our new house we replaced the old dishwasher with this one. The dishwasher is extremely quiet, it cleans everything we have put in it and leaves dishes and glasses sparkling and squeaky clean. We especially like the rotary water spray which cleans very well. The baskets are adjustable to fit everything we put in the dishwasher.

My prior Frigidaire had a design flaw. This resulted in an unfixable, leaking $800 machine. So, I was hesitant to buy another, especially one under $400. I'm glad I did. This machine looks great, works well and runs quietly. Higher cost doesn't always mean better.

I enjoy the quietness of this dishwasher compared to the 17 year old one it replaced. It looks good and does not show handprints, etc as stated. Controls are fairly easy to use..As one review I remember reading, it would be nice to have some sort of lights more visible so you know it is set or done. Another reason we picked this model is it still has a heating element for drying and my dishes do get dry. My one disappointment with it is the loading of the dishes. The upper rack just does not hold as many glasses as our old one. It has some movable small racks that I haven't been able to make work with my glasses. Maybe it's just my dishes but I did like my old straight rows of prongs better. The adjustable upper rack did work to allow for my holiday plates to be loaded on the lower rack that did not fit in my old one so that was nice! Overall, satisfied with purchase and the delivery and installation was very nice and easy. 2 hour window and they were there when they said.

Cleans dishes well. Relatively quiet. Seems to hold a little less than our old dishwasher unless care is taken to load. Hidden controls are nice, but make it difficult to check on the status of the load. For example, at startup during sensing it is hard to tell if the dishwasher has started. Eventually a light goes on to tell you the load is done, but this is seen much easier at night in the dark and hard to see during the day. No problems with cleaning.

The outside design is very nice. The dishwasher is SUPER quiet and has many settings. BUT....not thrilled with the quality of the of the cleaning. I've attempted all the different settings but often have small pieces of food debris dried on my dishes. The two racks, which are adjustable, are poorly designed for loading the dishwasher. I can't place my regular size dinner plates in the center of the bottom rack because the spinning mechanism hits them. I can place them only at the one side. Very inconvenient! The top rack has adjustable prongs that are of no use. The racks in my old dishwasher from the 90s were designed much better. Very disappointing!

This has a lot of room and space, it's really quiet, and easy to use. I had my entire sink full of dishes with pots and pans, I was able to load all of them into one load. It was easy to install. It runs smoothly and quietly, I don't even notice that it's running. It has a nice finish, it's easy to clean and no streaking. The settings are easy to navigate and have multiple features.

This dishwasher replaced my last frigidaire dishwasher which was basically the same model but 11 years old. We ran it into the ground, running it almost every night. I installed this myself, and the only extra thing that I had to buy was a simple generic dishwasher water connector from home depot for about $3. This may not beat the quietest Bosch on the market, but for half the price of other dishwashers, it's definitely worth the money and you get a lot more than what you pay for. As far as I'm concerned, appliances are disposable this day in age. Nothing is made to last 30 years anymore. So you can either pay $800-$1,000 for a dishwasher that will last 10-12 years. Or you can pay $400 for a dishwasher that will last the same amount of time. Don't be suckered by the salesman into buying a $1,000 Bosch.

This unit is very quiet compared to my previous dishwasher. The water is plenty hot and does a good job drying. The drawbacks are the internal set up which doesn't allow for as many dishes at once if you have more bowls and glasses. Also depending on what you put it it doesn't always clean completely and the rince can simply spread the debris around. Good price point. Good enough performance.
