Love everything about this appliance. Especially the light package, nothing hides anywhere. All the bins are really handy. Like the shelf for ice cream. It is so handy. Lots of storage in the doors.

The Fridge looks nice. The smudge proof finish works fairly well. The sides of the unit are plastic not stainless. The LED lighting is nice and bright. Chill drawer works well. This is my 3rd Frigidaire side by side unit I have owned. Owner of this Model: FGHS2655PF for about 5 months now. This is by far the poorest design for water/ice dispenser. The ice chute tapers so that if 2 pieces of ice are stuck together it will get stuck in the dispenser and jam (leaving about 6-10 pieces). This happens about 40% of the time. To add insult to injury the ice jam auto sense will release the flange and you will end up with ice all over the floor. There is no cold water reserve. So if you want a nice cold glass of water you need add ice first (good luck with ice jamming). The water dispenser does not travel with the ice dispenser, so if you have a narrow cup you will end up with water all over your hands and on the floor, but thats ok cause the water is not cold and you already have ice on the floor from it jamming! But hey you can always open the freezer and grab some ice right? WRONG! There is no direct access to ice when the freezer is open. You must remove the top shelf or pull out the ice tray. If the ice bin is full and you want to turn off the ice maker, you can simply switch the unit to the off position right? WRONG! you have to remove the top shelf to gain access to the shut off switch.The plastic used for shelving is cheap. Some plastic bottles are more durable than what they used here. One of the freezer bins has separated from the wall cause its so weak. The unit makes some strange sounds, thought it was the ice dispenser working but it still makes the sounds with it off. I was happy with the 2 other Frigidaire side by side units I owned previously but this Model: FGHS2655PF simply has a poor design and do not recommend it. I only bought this to match the stove/micro/dishwasher, those I have no issues with.

Other than taking so long to get it delivered and installed, and no one in Best Buy or the warehouse or the deliverer and installer knowing what the other one was doing or responsible for, the product so far (as of today: December 10, 2014) has been working fine. I just want to see if I have gotten the $65 in rewards credits that was offered for paying it off within 30 days from the date of purchase. Keeping my fingers crossed I don't have any trouble with that.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little hesitant to buy this model, but once it was delivered and running I have no complaints. I read that a few people were complaining about how loud it was. Maybe they received faulty units because mine is hardly noticeable. The only time I think the noise would bother me is if I was sleeping in the kitchen in the middle of the night, but that will never happen. I read other reviews about the drawers sticking. For me two of the three worked fine while only the top one was a little sticky. I put some olive oil on my finger and rubbed in on slide part of the drawer and it works perfect. We had ours delivered and they actually showed up early. Only thing they wouldn't do was disconnect the old water line to the ice maker and connect the new one, but I didn't really care. I had bought a new braided stainless steel hose and installed it myself in about 2 minutes with one tool. All in all the stainless steel front of the fridge looks great and the inside holds a lot of stuff.

We purchased this fridge when re-doing our kitchen and upgrading to all stainless steel appliances. Like some others have reported, we had some minor issues that were take care of easily. The drawers did not slide in and out easily so my husband put a little oil on the slides and they've worked perfectly ever since. Some have complained that it's really noisy and while it does make some weird noises, I don't believe that the noise is loud or excessive, just normal refrigerator noises. We are very happy with this fridge and love that it does not show fingerprints. It is very easy to keep clean and I love that there are two veggie and fruit drawers as well as the deli drawer for meats, cheeses, etc. Also the LED lights are a great feature.

This Fridge/Freezer is excellent at storing food etc. Have had no major issues and have had it over a year. My only complaint and reason for the 4 starts is that if/when 3 cubes of ice are still connected it will block the dispenser. Then all of a sudden you will have a flood of ice that will not fit in the cup, but will happily fall to the floor and/or be stuck in the hopper. They should have made the shoot for the ice dispenser just a tad bigger to accommodate 3 pieces stuck together.

We bought a whole new set of appliances and went with Frigidaire Gallery. Very sleek styling. Nice touch panel controls. LED lighting throughout the unit is great. There is some sticking of the drawers and the water from the dispenser is not as cold as I would prefer, but the owner's manual had a great solution to that issue - add ice. I was blown away with how simple that was, never mind that I might not want ice banging against my teeth when I drink. It is still a great unit. And I would recommend it to others.

Love the LED lighting which allows you to see what is in the fridge better. Also really like how easy it is to keep clean with the smudge proof finish. Has excellent storage with the door and vegetable bins.

Purchased this fridge several weeks ago after looking at many different models and brands. Looks great. Makes some strange noises during the day. The water from the door has had a strange plastic-like aftertaste. I'm hoping this goes away over time....been four weeks though since purchased though. The ice comes blasting through the dispenser which means you need to use a large cup to capture the ice cubes or else plan on picking them up from the floor. More than likely, you cannot get only 2-3 ice cubes even with a quick press of the lever. In a matter of seconds, your cup is 90% full of ice. Overall, I'm pleased that we upgraded our 1998 side-by-side for this model. No fridge is perfect, but this stainless steel model is magnetic, shows no fingerprints, and certainly keeps the milk cold. I would definitely recommend this fridge to others, but just accept that it's not perfect in all aspects. After all of the research I did, I can say I'm glad I purchased it.

The fridge works perfectly and keeps everything at a perfect temperature with the awesome display in the front. Only problems are that one of the drawers make a horrid screeching sound when you open and close it. There's a bit of rubbing when you put a little weight above it. The other thing is that the ice machine is a bit loud and sometimes has trouble dispensing full ice. Minor issues but great overall.

The first thing that caught my fiancé's eye was how the led lights faded in when you opened the doors. It became the deciding factor when we picked this fridge. It has a good amount of space in both sides. So far we have not had any issues with the in-door water and I've dispenser. We also love how it looks in out kitchen along with our other stainless steel appliances, none of which are Frigidaire.

This is a reasonably priced side by side packed with a lot of features such as LED lighting, smudge proof stainless doors, slide out shelves, and more. The only problem found with this unit is the chill drawer does not slide in or out without sticking and making a screeching noise.

I love the frig. Lots of room and I can get to things in the freezer easily. I am unhappy with the door ice dispenser. It throws ice everywhere. No matter what size of glass or how careful I am, the ice still ends up on the floor. Very dissatisfied with ice dispenser.

The fridge is really beautiful. It has a lot of space, but as others have mentioned, it makes some weird noises. Not all of the time, just when the ice maker is doing something, and the usually filling of the ice maker. We live in an open floor plan townhouse and the noises are not bad enough to be a deal breaker for us. It was delivered with a dent in the door (right out of the box, not the delivers fault) and I called BB and they had a new one sent out ASAP. It looks beautiful in our new home with our other stainless appliances.Oh, and it truly is smudge proof!

We were able to get this fridge at a great discount in the "clearance room" at Best Buy. We were not looking for anything fancy, just a great price. Although there were a few dings on the side of the product we were satisfied with the overall appearance. We have had the refrigerator for about three weeks. I love the amount of space, shelving, and ease with which the shelves can be removed and cleaned. My major complaint is the amount of noise. This refrigerator makes a bunch of weird noises. Its overall performance however, does not seem effected.

We bought this fridge because we needed something with more space and wanted to have water/ice feature. Love all the compartments and the LED lighting. The water and ice are awesome, but the ice maker has a few hiccups. It will sometimes give crushed ice when on cubed or spit out ice when no one is around. It is a tad slow making ice, but has a nice feature to assist in this process. The front is smudge proof and has a beautiful finish. Overall a good price for the features of this fridge. I would recommend it to a friend.

great spacious fridge,i absolutely loved the lighting inside that gives the dimming effect..only thing was i had to modify the ears that holds shelves in place..they came out somehow..i took them out and inserted great stuff insulation from home depot. i waited next day till it was completely dry, and reinserted them,and no problem at all,it was fixed.

Overall the refrigerator is good quality, quite and has plenty of space. It has filter for water and carbon filter for the air to keep everything fresh. Both filters are easy to replace. We like the LED lighting and makes things easy to find. LEDs should also keep the energy costs low. We hope to get a long use out of the fridge.

I bought this refrigerator and was a little apprehensive since I could not physically inspect it beforehand. There were many reviews and the variation in customer experiences was vast. The price was good so I thought I would take the chance. I am glad I did. This product has been great and I only have a few minor things that I wish were better. The first one is the exterior sides. They are a bit weak and just pushing on them to position the appliance can cause minor imperfections. The second thing was the door seals. They were not exactly perfect after shipping, but I was able to fix that with a hair dryer. Another thing is that the refrigerator may seem noisy if it is not balanced properly. This one had me scratching my head for a bit. I realized that after going shopping and filling it up, it seemed to be much louder. The doors seemed to be slightly out of alignment, which led me to do a quick bubble check. Sure enough, the weight of my wife's shopping spree had me on my knees turning those leveling bolts located in the bottom front, hidden beneath the plastic guard. Once I did that, all was quiet again and my wife was really happy with it. To me, it is just a frig, but if she is happy, then I could not ask for more than that. I hope this review helps others.

I've had the refrigerator for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. I saw some reviews which said it was too loud and I personally haven't had that issue. The smudge proof stainless steel is holding up well. I've had plenty of stainless steel appliances that smudge easily but so far, no noticeable smudges on the fridge. Only thing holding the fridge back from 5 stars is the drawers seem a bit cheap and they don't slide out as easily and I feel I need to gentle when sliding the drawers out so that don't break. Overall, for the price, I'm pretty happy.
