I went from 4 burners to this 5-burner cook top. I cook extensively and so this gets heavy use. I'm writing this review after using this for about 2 months. Functionality is great, the burners and BTUs are excellent. I like that the knobs are in the front so I have much more room for big pots and pans. BUT, for some reason the grates have lost their luster, and the burner tops are turning red around the edges (see pictures.). So although I've only had this for about 2 months, its starting to look like I've had it for much longer. I have been cleaning it according the instructions in the manual, but I can't bring the original luster back. I understand over time a cook-top loses its sheen, but I did not expect it to lose it this quickly. Not sure if I got a defective part or what. Its bothersome to me because all my other stainless steel appliances can be cleaned and wiped back to a shine, but not the case with this cook top. I can't even get rid of the water spots. Its starting to look like it belongs in an industrial-level kitchen now. The grates look worn out and scratched up even though they are dishwasher-safe. If I had known this was going to happen I probably would have purchased a different 5-burner cook top. I'm in the process of renovating my kitchen and have updated all my appliances to pristine stainless steel pieces, but this has been a disappointment. I'm giving it 3 stars because FUNCTIONALITY is good, but its not good if you want to keep your kitchen looking clean and shiny after using it and cleaning it. Some people may not care about this aspect, but its important to me.

We purchased this to replace our GE 4 burner and this thing is awesome! I love having 5 burners and it works so well. It’s also very simple and pretty.

The packaging was adequate, unpackaging was uncomplicated. Instructions were easy to follow. Installation was hassle- free, and burner preadjustment from factory was sufficient. Operation in the first couple weeks is flawless.

Looks great out of the box, clean and shiny, burners are powerful. However, after a little use, the real problems emerge: 1. Burner control knobs, although metal, are pot metal and dent easily, ruining the paint and appearance. Never had this problem on my 20 year old Jennair cook top. 2. Regulators are poorly designed. Most of the flame adjustment occurs within a short span. A majority of the turning does nothing, making flame adjustment difficult. 3. The rubber bumpers/feet disintegrate and crack after a few months use, leaving the metal grate resting on the cook top surface and gouging it.

Worth every penny looks beautiful and has enough room if you have to cook at least 3 dishes together.

My kitchen remodel is complete with this beautiful new stove top. It gives the room a modern and up-to-date look. It has five burners, and VERY easy to clean with SEALED burners. I love the SUMMER feature for cooking sauces. The middle burner is larger than the rest for rapid cooking of larger pots and quantities of food Our family will enjoy years of home-cooking with the Frigidare Gallery Cooktop.

Wow..., this cooktop is great and with the 5 center burner it makes things so much easier to cook large meals! Highly recommended.

I love my new cooktop this is a five burner and I used to have a four so the additional burner is really nice. My only issue is it is hard to keep clean and streak free I literally have to clean it after every single use so that there is no material left otherwise it will leave a mark.

It took quite a while to get this product but it was worth it. This cooktop works great and looks pretty good in my kitchen.

The cooktop looks nice except it is easily tarnished. I already have some stained areas that I am now looking for the best cleaner to use for removal. I like the numbers on the know as opposed to the low/med/high style of my former cooktop

Easy install, looks great. Has developed heat stains Around the burners (thus 4 stars vice 5). Operates flawlessly. Loving how the grates cover the whole stovetop making sliding pots across the stove easy. Large burner in the center is awesome for fast cooking.

We replaced our 20 year old cooktop with this one. We got the model with a center burner. Really impressed with the speed of the larger burners to cook. Love the seamless grill. Great for moving pots around. Also easy to clean.
