Great induction cooktop!

Even thought this is an “entry level” induction cooktop it performs just like one of the more expensive ones. So happy to be rid of the electric one. We had gas in our last house. This is just as good.

But I love the speed with which it can cook. I also love how it looks. I recommend getting Cerama Bryte Touchips. Makes clean ups easy. Price is right too

Another hassle is having to replace a lot of our cookware - especially the non-stick (aluminum) pans to induction compatible (magnetic) cookware. However, the heating speed and accurate temperature control makes it a very worthwhile upgrade.

Beeps too much and too often. It's irritating.

I also can't find a way to turn off this incessant beeping. Put a pan on the cooktop, starts beeping. Take something out of the oven and set it on the cooktop, starts beeping. Need to clean the cooktop? Yep that makes it beep too. Also, the lack of physical controls makes it a pain if the cooktop gets wet. Very difficult to change the settings if some water drips on the cooktop. That also makes the thing start beeping too.

Move from gas to electric to reduce our carbon footprint and find at this early use history that it works as well or better than our previous gas appliance.
