See pictures! This thermocol wall is not crafted well. To provide energy efficient AC hot side and cool side must be separated much better than this. 2. Connecting to WiFi and using App was not difficult as many users complained. First, you need to turn off the mobile data and select the 2.4 GHz Radio signal, provide the password and done. This APP doesn't support multiple users. These days many (or most) router supports both 5 and 2.4 GHz Radio signal, but same Network Name (SSID). Make sure that 2.4 GHz SSID broadcast is not off? Otherwise how you can find this signal and connect it? 3. This unit was not available in store so I ordered online but received damaged! See pictures. 4. Installation was easy, requires two people to carry and safely put on the window! 5. I was still thinking to keep it due to looking and easy to clean the filter until the next day I saw the sun through my AC? Now I don't know how much energy I am wasting due to poor insulation and separation. My home is equipped with central AC but my two upstairs rooms are hot requires additional unit! 6. I am hoping that Frigidaire will respond and have better insulation between the hot side and cold side. 7. The look is nice and using is easy, shipping is not a good option for this type of product.

This is much more sleek and modern looking, though it is quite heavier. Love that you control it from your smart phone. Plus I registered it as a smart AC with my utility company.

Posted .Kathy, thank you for taking the time to share your review regarding your AC concerns. If the room temperature is very high, the air exiting the unit may not feel cold. Air exiting the unit is usually between 17°-20°F lower than the Intake air, and may not feel cold to the touch until the room temperature is reduced. Ensure that all windows and curtains are closed to reduce the amount of heat that enters the environment. It is also best if you have ceiling fans or additional AC units running at the same time to help cool the environment together –and not rely on just one unit.

The air only blows upwards! The top of the unit is warped. The bar I installed on top lets air through. It is 87 degrees outside. I suffer from extreme Fibromyalgia. I cannot function in high heat. This was purchased as a gift to me from my father. The temp in my house is still 80 degrees. I live in a 400 sq ft apartment. I have it set on cool and the fan on high. I also have another ac, that is also frigidaire in the living room, and neither cool my very extremely small unit down! I think the product sucks!

Posted .Hi, Dayna0568! We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your air conditioner. The vent has a four-way directional control, and the air flow should be adjustable. If the air conditioner arrived to you damaged, please alert the dealer it was purchased from so an exchange can be made! In addition, a 10,000 BTU air conditioner has enough power to cool a single 450 square foot room. You mentioned that your apartment was 400 square feet; these air conditioners should be measured to fit a single room. Oversized models may cycle on and off and will be less efficient than a properly sized model.
