Not a true airfry feature, but very good oven

This is an excellent oven! It is easy to use, easy to clean and I am just amazed how fast the burners heat up. I would not recommend buying this for the airfry feature, however. There are complaints about the oven smoking up so much that it sets off the smoke detectors in the house. I've seen these complaints posted on YouTube as well. When my oven arrived, I read in Frigidaire's user manual that the airfry works best only with "frozen" packaged items; frozen potatoes, etc - not fresh. So that explains why people are having a problem trying to use the airfry when making buffalo wings and such. I tried to use this feature with a fresh item, and yes, a lot of smoke started coming out of the oven. I switched to regular bake before it got real bad. This really is a very good oven, but if you want airfry you're better off buying this model without that feature and buying a separate airfryer for your kitchen counter.

    Hood induction oven

This was the best priced induction stove I could find with hood Consumer Report ratings. Seems to work well so far even though there is a slight learning curve with the operation of it. The buttons seem fussy about sensing finger touch. Hope it doesn’t get worse.

First of all all 3 stars go to induction cooking It works great now the rest is a whole bunch of MEH The touch panel is finicky and a pain Sometimes It just wont work for the Oven till you open and close the door a few times. and its kind of unresponsive in general. The air fry is USELESS the fan doesn't blow any harder its just convection bake. It still smells like burning when Using the Oven and No there's nothing burn inside I hardly use the Oven part. And the last time I tried It threw a error code and wouldn't stop beeping Till I tripped the breaker to reset it. Actually typing this review I'm going to give it 2 stars. NVM

    An excellent induction stove.

Works quietly and quickly! An excellent induction stove, I don't know why people would buy anything else. One wonderful feature is if a pan is removed, the number flashes. When pan is returned, the induction continues. No error messages, very nice! The only cons are: 1. The surface is shiny black, so everything shows up. Easily cleaned though! 2. The handle is tapered, so towels can get caught if removed at an angle. But there are no corners to hit so it's a tradeoff.

Faulty appliance - terrible customer service

We ordered this and the delivery date was 2 months out. We got everything ready and it was delivered, we plugged it in and... it did not work. The panel flashed on and then off, and then remained off and unresponsive, but just kept beeping over and over - seems like an issue with the electronics. We contacted Best Buy to get this fixed as we have been waiting 2 months for this... they said they won't send anyone to look at it or fix it, that we have to exchange it, but they can't exchange it today, so we have to wait and call tomorrow.... who knows how long this will be backordered to get another one. I can't believe they won't even try to fix it.

second unit that won't boil water!

I'm on my second unit of this model that won't boil water. On the first one, the main burner wouldn't boil at all, so I returned it and got another one. On this one, the front left burner will only boil water if I stop using the back left burner! I was using all four burners, and the front left one wasn't boiling (despite being on P for 10 minutes and on H for 5 minutes). I added the pasta, and it just sat on the bottom. I turned off the back burner, and lo and behold, the front burner started boiling normally! This unit also has to have all the burners turned up much higher than my previous Frigidaire electric smooth top (which should not be the case with an induction range). There is clearly a design flaw with these units, as they are underpowered; one should be able to use all of the burners, and they should boil water! I will be returning it and sticking with my 14 year old Frigidaire electric smooth top convection oven that still works great. It appears the quality of these products has declined dramatically since I last purchased. It's a shame, because this unit promised great things - it just failed to deliver. Twice.
