Customers are enthusiastic about the induction cooking, air frying capabilities, and ease of cleaning this range offers. Many appreciate the user-friendly design and find the performance satisfactory. However, some users have experienced issues with the control panel's sensitivity to moisture and accidental activation. The price point is also frequently cited as a positive aspect.

The struggle was real to find a range with the features we wanted but we're so happy with the Frigidaire. In doing the remodel of our small galley kitchen, we went through three purchases before we finally, settled on this range; we thought we wanted a built-in thinking it would save space and be more aesthetically pleasing. But we finally committed to the Frigidaire because it had all the features we were seeking. And look at how good it looks!
1) LOVE the induction cooktop. Seriously, it's easiest clean up ever. And water boils so fast.
2) LOVE the Air Fry feature. We enjoy chicken wings on a weekly basis.
3) I like the placement of the controls at the front. Easier to use. And the "add 1 minute" feature for the timer is great.
4) We like the options: bake, broil, convection bake, convection roast, and air fry. I've only used the convection bake one time and it worked fine.
The only not-so-positive comment is that the oven is a bit loud. We're used to it now and this is minor issue when compared to the quality and options the range offers.
I highly recommend the Frigidaire Freestanding Electric Induction Range.

I really wanted to like this oven, and I find myself complaining about it more often than not. I've used it for over a year now and would not buy it again.
First the good: the induction top is fantastic. I have never had such good control over the heat of my pans, and I will never go back to other forms of cook top. Particularly when boiling something you can see the change of heat output almost immediately when lowering the temperature, and almost no heat is retained by the cooktop. I love being able to wipe up spills and splatter from my pans while I'm cooking instead of having to wait for the cooktop to fully cool first. The power boil option on this also works very well.
The mediocre: the oven itself is pretty average. It works fine, but has a very noticeable hot spot right at the front. This is made significantly *worse* when using the convection cook mode, which ended up being so frustrating that I no longer use the convection mode, which was one of the reasons I originally bought this oven. But it does cook food, and as long as I open and rotate it, I can make it work, so it's fine. (I have tried all rack placements, they all have the same hot spot right at the front of the oven.)
And now the bad, this oven has a major design flaw: touch buttons *on the front of the range*. We are constantly bumping into them, accidentally leaning against them while cooking, accidentally gently brushing them with wet towels while trying to cook in our small kitchen. Every time we accidentally get too close to the front of this stove we dread hearing the beep that indicates we accidentally *turned it on* or *turned it off* while in the middle of cooking. I fear the day we accidentally leave something metal on top of this and start a fire because we accidentally turn on an induction burner and don't hear the stupid beep. You want to cook on the rear burners? Better not lean on the front or you'll mess with your settings. Want to wipe up a spill on the front half of the range? Better make sure your rag doesn't get too close to the control panel. Accidentally spill something *on the control panel*? Good luck, hope it doesn't start cycling settings because it thinks the button is being held down. I once managed to completely lock myself out of the oven because I tried to clean a spill on the front, and had to go find the manual to figure out how to unlock it. Another time I accidentally bumped it and turned the oven off right after I put dinner in, only to discover an hour later that it *hadn't been cooking* and dinner was still raw.
This could have all been solved by using traditional mechanical buttons, because then lightly brushing up against the oven wouldn't cause any issues. Instead they used the fancy new touch buttons, which have no business in a kitchen, and using this stove is a constant nightmare. I hate it.
There is a lip at the front where the front control panel connects to the stovetop. This connection is *loose* and you'll notice that it kinda wobbles, which is unsettling and makes me concerned about the longevity of this stove. But more notably, it also leaves a gap where crumbs and spills will accumulate *under the front plate* which is a massive pain to clean (see attached photo), and I'm concerned about how much there probably is stuck under there that I can't effectively clean out. Will it affect how well the unit controls? Who knows!
Overall, the stovetop is fantastic, the oven is mid, and the control panel is a deal breaker. Don't buy this.

After replacing parts on our old Kenmore for the third time, we decided it was time for a new range. We researched options and were intrigued with the concept of an induction cooktop. We also knew we wanted front controls so we weren't reaching over steaming pots to control the burners. Consumer Reports recommended Frigidaire and it quickly went to the top of our list! Other things we liked about this range were the air fry oven feature, the dual cleaning oven (both quick steam and standard high heat cleaning), the enclosed bottom oven element (for easier cleaning), and the Frigidaire $100 back on labor to modify our kitchen counter to fit the new range.
Pros: I've never seen water boil as quickly as it did on our new cooktop! 2 cups of tap-cold water came to a boil in 45 seconds! We LOVE how the kitchen is cooler when we cook, thanks to the induction technology that only heats the pan and not the actual cooktop. The instant response of the heat levels is similar to cooking with gas, with greater control. The oven heats MUCH more evenly than our old oven. We've not yet tried the Air Fry feature, so I can't comment on that, but I anticipate being happy with it as well. The optional Air Fry basket may be in our future! I love that the burners automatically shut off if there's no pan on them, and that they automatically adjust to the size of the pan. The broiler cooks more evenly than our old oven too!
Cons: The range was filthy when it arrived! I actually had to vaccuum, wipe down, then run the oven TWICE with our exhaust fans on to burn off the residual dust before we could use it! The tape used to protect the stainless steel also left heavy gum residue that we had to remove with Goof Off. It appeared the range had been sitting in non-temperature-controlled storage for an extended time. Also, the "storage drawer" beneath the oven is worthless because it is so shallow. Even the lids for our pans brush the top of the drawer when we attempt to close it.
The pros far outweigh the cons with this wonderful range!

Auto-sizing does not work

This is difficult to review because some aspects of this range are great. The power output itself is good, it is easy to clean, and the oven works well.
But I can't recommend it for the cost when there are better competitors. The eyes themselves do not heat evenly - and the claim it is auto-sizing is entirely false. Each eye has about a 4-6 inch circle that heats regardless of pan size. This means that, despite the center heating quickly, if you want to sear something you need to slowly bring it up to temperature so the edges get a chance to slowly come up to temp. Even then they don't retain heat once something is set on them unless the pan is very thick.
It does not matter which pans are used (I've got like-new condition all clad and cast iron, all having exactly the same performance). Worse, after weeks of trying to get in contact with Frigidaire through their terrible phone tree, the technician said it was working as expected and so there is no point replacing parts. They fillibustered me until I was out of the period I could return it, but after a year and half I'm fed up enough to finally write a review. I really wanted to like this, but if overtly not working is "as expected", then I can't recommend this range when other competitors don't have this issue.

This is my 3rd Frigidaire induction oven. I’ve replaced the existing stoves in the last three houses with this induction stove. My husband and I both cook a lot, and I do a lot of baking.
The burners are faster than gas, and the stove top is so easy to keep clean because any spillovers don’t get burned onto the glass top. I use the convection oven for baking, especially cookies, and it does a great job of even baking. We’re also enjoying the air fry setting. I can’t imagine why induction cooking hasn’t caught on in the US. Maybe because induction sounds intimidating. Yes, you do need cookware that a magnet will stick to, but a good set isn’t that expensive. You won’t be sorry if you buy this stove.

Lov e the speed of the Induction cooktop
The oven works great especially the Air Fry feature.
One thing that I really think is a design flaw... the chrome top on the control panel is raised and very susceptible to scratches.
Other than that, the appliance is very nice and Best By=uy Price was terrific

I like it. For me, it's pretty good. The surface is easily scratched, so you definitely don't want to use any scrubbies, or anything abrasive to clean it. Mine came with sticky junk from the stickers on the top, and I tried to get it off, and ended up lightly scratching the surface. That's obnoxious. Maybe I'll try a headlight polish at some point to see if I can't get the light surface scratches off.
I haven't tried the air fry, but from everything I've read, air frying is just convection, only not as crispy, so I don't really care about that. It does have the quick preheat, which is great, and basically just combines convection with traditional baking to heat the internals fast.
As for the induction? It's great. Instant heat, quick boiling, easy to clean, but... very hard to clean perfectly. I tried using glass cleaner, and it's still kind of cloudy, so I spend very little time cleaning, and a lot of time trying to buff it streak free. It also sometimes buzzes when you're first heating things up, but I believe that's pretty common with induction.
As a techy, this is weird, but I kind of appreciate how simple the controls, and the operation of this thing is. I thought I'd want a million buttons, and smart features, but not really. The only thing I think that would be nice to have is a way to remote heat up the oven by telling Google home to preheat the oven, but that's not worth an extra grand or two.
Overall, I can't complain, but I'm not really a huge chef - I am curious why the US doesn't universally use induction, though. Most of Europe does?

We love this induction range. its price is so sweet compared with other brands. very easy to use. You do need to learn to cook with it a bit. I'm still looking for a good non-stick pan that works with an induction range. But I'm willing to go through the trouble because it saves electricity. At the same time, when you cook (especially in CA weather) in summer, you no longer suffer from the heat emitting from the normal range. Good for us, good for the environment.
We are also very happy with BB's service. The first range arrived with some issues, but BB sent us a replacement that works wonderfully till now.
It's a mature technology so we expect it to work for a few years.

I absolutely love this range. Induction is fantastic. I wanted to change to gas but the house has only electric in the kitchen. The induction is fast and wonderful with full control of the heat. The oven will bake, broil, convection and air fry. The air fry is simple and delicious way to cook. We haven't had it long enough to use all the features but absolutely love this range. The drawer below the oven is very shallow and surprised me but the bottom of the oven has no coils showing and is easy to clean. I will take that trade off.

Purchased in October, 2019, delivered in November 2019. Problems started a few months later. The stove started emitting beeping or chirping sounds sporadically at any time of the day or night. Then during the use of oven the display on the panel would change from 'Oven' to 'Airfry' to 'Keep warm' and so on. Called service, the technician replaced the controller and for a few weeks it was good, now beeping sounds started again. It is still under warranty,
I would love to give it 5 stars, it works great (when it works). Time to call technician again. I wonder how many times can the same problem be repaired to get the attention of the manufacturer?
Though maybe I got a lemon, I still recommend it. Hopefully it will be fixed or replaced so I will stop loosing sleep at night (because of beeping).

This induction range is nice. The stove top is beautiful. The controls are simple and convection/bake/air fry options. Cons: the controls on the front are touch, so if you lean against them while cooking or just brush them, they change settings. Only the oven controls are "lockable", so the range is open to changing if you touch it at all. Also the oven seems to cook a bit unevenly, more cooked in the back of the oven than in the front of the oven. I turn food around half way through.

Great range/stove! The stove top elements heat up really quickly and boil water almost as fast as a microwave. The air fry and oven settings get take a little bit to get used to but are great once you have learned how to use them correctly. Would buy another one if I ever had a second kitchen ;-)

Love the induction on this range. Make sure your pot is exactly the size of the one of the rings and boiling takes half as long. Only downside is the convection seems to create a lot of smoke. We also have to put things very low in the over to not have the top overcooked.

As many point out, the displayed rings around where the heat distributes. There is no auto sizing. Despite that it’s better than any gas or electric stove I’ve ever had as far as cleanliness and control over heat.takes getting use to having buttons on the front, I thought the lock was for preventing accidental presses but it’s just an oven lock. I owned the lower model in my last house and I preferred that one for cleaning but this one looks better .

We had another brand on the range. We purchased this induction as a replacement instead of messing around with gas. What a great choice. Other than having to purchase new pans (which we needed) this range is the best thing since sliced bread. The range top can adjusted just like a gas range. The first thing we did when we purchased this was making taco meat. We had the setting on high to get the sauce boiling and bumped it down a couple ticks so slow it down. The minute we set the heat lower the sauce quit boiling. The convection oven is also much nicer than the oven we had before. I'd recommend this range to anyone.

This isn't the prettiest range, however, the temp control is fantastic. After baking a scratch made beef wellington, breads and around 650 Christmas cookies, I haven't found a "hot spot" in the oven. The "L" setting on the cook top is actually low.. my Samsung range would still start to boil on the lowest setting. It heats up quickly and maintains. I'm quite happy thus far. Also, BB got it to me within a couple of days, saving Thanksgiving after the cook top on my stove had cracked.
