    The dismay started as soon as I took this range out of the box. One of the first things that I noticed was a huge dent on the left bottom between the legs. I decided to go ahead and give the range a try anyways and the problems continued. I figured that a new range is going to stink and smoke some the first time that the oven is used as stated in the manual. Boy, turn on the vent and open the windows that can't be good to breathe, look at the smoke! The fumes continued after trying to use the oven several times. I finally turned off the furnace opened the windows and turned on the range vent, I set a oven clean cycle and left the house for about 4 hours. When I returned there was no smell and I was hoping for the best!!! Wrong, every time that I used the oven it continued to smell like burning paint, plastic or electronics? I will say that the fumes were diminishing some with every use, but still. That's not the end of the story though, the induction cooktop had it's issues too. While cooking on the left front burner I noticed that the back side was cooking and the front was barley cooking. I had to place the skillet slightly out of the marked zone, about an inch or 2 to make the skillet heat evenly. That was a $90.00 skillet but I went ahead and tried other pieces of cookware with the same results. I will say that after complaining to Best buy about all the problems with range that they let me return it. I decided on another brand and haven't had any issues with it!!

    With the mixed reviews I'm kind of leery. Good price with 90 guarantee. Giving it a spin and see where it goes.

    Touchpad is not easy to manage. It takes a few touches to activate. The front controls turn on at the slightest touch. We had a really nice induction range previously,so we are exchanging this range for a better product

    We purchased this unit because we had a good experience with an identical range at our previous home. Not so this time. As soon as we activated the self-cleaning function, the range started making a rattling sound. It disappeared after a few minutes, but the oven door has been locked since then. Working with Best Buy, we decided to replace the range with a GE model. Unfortunately, since induction ranges are in short supply, we still have to wait another month for the exchange. At least we've been able to use the cooktop.

    Sorry, the "Auto Sizing" on the stove top does not work. It only heats up the middle of the pan. Not recommended.

    Good Performance at the Right Price!

    We got this induction range convection oven on sale and with rebate when combined with the over the range micro. After almost 6 weeks of continual operation, we are very pleased with our purchase. The only real relatively minor negatives are that the bottom slide drawer is a bit flimsy and has seemingly little vertical space for storing flat cookware. At times, there can be a delay in obtaining a magnetic coupling on the burner surface to start the warming process. Also, we have inadvertently leaned against the front control panel touchpad resulting in a new setting. We are using thin circular silicon baking pads by Baker Boutique to protect the burner surfaces and new cookware by Circulon. The burners boil a sauce pan half full of water on the Preheat setting within 1-2 mins. All in all this was a great purchase!

    Induction Cooktop - It took a while to get used to, but it's okay. I'd prefer to have gas, but in the absence of gas, the induction is certainly better than electric. My issue with this particular cooktop is that it doesn't accept all "induction quality" cookware, and will turn off when it doesn't sense a magnetic receptacle. Oven - I'd give the oven a 2 star. My biggest issue is that it doesn't hold temp. We've had this unit for a couple years, and I gave it some time in case it was just me, but it really does not hold heat. If I set the timer for 350, and come back in 15 minutes and reset it for 350 again, it will typically show that the current temp is around 320. I'm also not sure that the convection and regular bake options are working differently. They seem to function the same way on this unit. I've not tried the air fryer setting, so I can't comment on that. It would seem like a good option for something large like a turkey, but there is no rotisserie in the unit, so I'm not sure how you'd keep the air frying even.

    Broiler stopped working 3 years and 2 months after purchase. Not a fan of the range even before the broiler stopped working. The front control panel is extremely sensitive to steam, heat and any moisture. When I open the oven, the heat or steam from the oven shuts down the control panel and turns everything off. When cleaning, burners will come on by themselves. I believe the control panel is the root cause for non-working broiler. Poor design.

    Does Not Cook Evenly

    Very disappointed in this cooktop. The auto-sizing burners do not work well. I have tried all types of pans (All-Clad stainless, Le Creuset enameled cast iron, cheap cast iron). The problem seems to be that unless the pan perfectly matches one of the auto-sizing rings, it will not turn the ring on. Meaning you can only cook in the center of the pan. Even on the largest burner using a 12" (9" bottom) pan, only the smallest ring will turn on, so the center of your food will be burnt while the outside is still raw. There is no way to just set it to turn on the entire burner. Even the cheapest old coil burners I've use are better than this. I've had 3 different techs come out, and they've all be very nice and understanding (same goes for almost everyone I've spoken with on the phone), but there's nothing they can (or will) do. It seems to be a design flaw, there are other complaints about the same issue. I should have done more research before buying it. If anyone from Frigidaire is reading this, I will happily trade it for the radiant model, and just eat the price difference. For everyone else, while it does heat very quickly, even with only the smallest size ring, I would definitely avoid this one. I used the GE model on vacation recently and it seemed fine. Or just stick with radiant.
