This is a great Stove for houses without gas hook up. Please know that magnetic pans work best with this stove.

I had heard that the induction cooking was much faster. As I age, there have been several times that while waiting for water to boil, I simply forgot about it because it could take so long. My induction cook top has made me feel safer. Water boils VERY quickly! I have tested the oven in a very limited way but it appears to cook much more evenly AND preheats more quickly than my old oven. It also looks quite nice in my kitchen even though my other appliances were black.

Honestly, this was not the first range I've ever owned, but after investigation, I chose the Frigidaire Gallery Induction Range for one reason: BEST IN CLASS. The cook-top is amazing, giving you he control of gas, with the cleanliness of electricity. The only flaw, if there is one, is that it requires cookware that is magnetic (cast iron, genuine steel, etc.). Otherwise, this range is once of the best I've used. You can cook at high heat quickly, and not burn the food (like regular radiant-heat cook tops can do, and the oven cooks evenly and consistently. I look forward to many years of using this range! It's also beautiful (if there is such a thing).

Great stove for someone like me that doesn't like waiting for pots to get hot

Very nice range. The oven cooks evenly and true to recommended baking times. Range has taken some getting use to coming from an old electric range. Be prepared that not all pans will work with the induction system.

Been looking at stainless steel electric ovens but wished I had gas. With convection stove tops it is like cooking with gas! Came across this as an open box. Originally close to $1600, but I asked for more of a discount and got it for $650. Had to purchase new pots and pans for cooking on convection cooking though. It is so fast to heat up and cook. I simply love it!!

Have yet to use the convection oven, as for the induction top, it's fantastic! Reacts as fast or faster than gas, and easy clean up since the surface is not heated, only the cookware is. You will need ferrous pots and pans. Get your magnet out and test.

I conducted an extensive comparison of all induction ranges offered by Best Buys and found the Frigidaire offered the features I wanted most and at a price well below the other brands. Now that I've used it for several weeks, I'm happier than ever.

After extensive research I purchased the unit and was satisfied from day one. The controls are easy to use and the regulation of the heat output is instantaneous. Compared to regulating the heat output on a regular electrical range you realize that you finally arrived in the 21st century. Turkeys, roasts, bread, cakes and cookies made in the range came out perfect with the first try. The only problem we experienced was to get the unit level. It took almost 30 minutes to level. Other than that cooking is fun again.

We've had this stove for about a month and it is incredible. We can go from turning the burner on to frying an egg in about 30 seconds, which is a lifesaver when kids are screaming they are hungry. We've also watched water boil for fun - only takes 3 minutes! Reviews we read before buying the stove mentioned a bad smell, which we did not notice at all. We also read some reviews saying the stove was noisy - there is a slight buzzing noise, but definitely not even remotely bothersome.

The range is excellent. It heats the pans very quickly. Better than our old gas range which had "quick boil" burners. The control is delicate, like gas, but completely safe with my kids. Even if they do turn it on somehow, it does not get hot unless you put a metal pan on it.. So if they are sat on the cooktop, turn it on, they still won't get hurt. LOVE IT!!!

Induction ovens require induction ready pans. My old pans did not work on it so I had to buy new ones. This was not explained to me when I bought it. I do like it and my old pans were over 30 years old.

Its fast cooking and easy to operate and cleans up like new. I'm very happy with it so far.

I have been using the portable induction plates and got hooked. they are great. Found this Induction Range with Convection oven and its totally awesome. It actually boils water faster than the induction plates did. I am very happy with this. I had to run 220Volt outlet for it since I had gas before and it was worth it. And it looks great too and easy to keep clean. I would definately get one if I was you!!

Bought as substitute for a gas range. Performs amazingly! Super control. Shopped around a lot and on sale this is an excellent value.

This is a good stove, the only thing is buying the appropriate pans that are suitable for it.
