Generally great and simple stove to use. Twice in three years the control panel has shorted out and had to be replaced. For something this expensive, I expect much more.

We have had the stove about a month now. Very minor adjustment to the AWESOME speed that this range heats up. Very controllable heat. The convection oven is fantastic! Even cooking and fast. The hardest thing to get used to is how fast you can boil water and heat food. It's thrown me off a few times trying plan everything to be done at once but, I'm getting better with it . You do need high end cookware with an induction range, the heavier the better. We had to trash all of our Revere Ware since it does not work on induction and replaced it with "stupid expensive" All-Clad 5 ply. My only complaint with the stove, and the reason I didn't give 5 stars, is that the cooktop is very easily scratched. My last stove was near 20 years old and was starting to show its age but, it took a long time to get there. This cooktop is so smooth and shinny that it shows every little mark. It is not realistic to think to think you would never move a pan while its on the stove. We keep the cooktop very clean and use appropriate cleaning products yet, we have small scratches already.. This one will never make the 10 year mark looking good. Other than that: this is a great stove. My buying experience with Best Buy was the worst I ever had with any retailer. I wish I gave my money to another store with better service. Overall I recommend the stove but not the retailer.

This is my first Induction Range. I replaced a coil electric range. Induction is so much better than Gas (my parents have gas). It heats quicker than Gas or electric. The surface stays relatively cool (It still gets warm from the pan heating up, but you won't get a 3rd degree burn#. You get the control of a gas cooktop without the pot/pan and handle getting blazing hot and you can simmer. This is my first convection oven, too, which is great also. When baking in our old oven we could only bake one thing at a time #like one tray of cookies). Now we can put two or three pans in the oven and they all cook evenly. I have only found one recipe to be done quicker than usual, but since you can keep the over a little cooler with convection you probably end up using less energy. So most of what I have liked probably can be said for any induction range with a convection oven. What I liked about this range is that it had nobs to control the burners. I didn't want to have to push a button 50 times to get the burner to high. The over control is really easy and the settings are intuitive. My parent's wall oven has a nob for the temp and a nob for the oven setting which drives me nuts, so for the oven settings I appreciate the simplicity of the buttons and that the oven settings are named intuitively rather than "pastry" or "aero bake" like my parent's. Between the convection oven and the induction cooktop this range will definitely save us time and should hopefully save us money.

Oven turns on by itself with an F11 code. Despite buying 5 year best warranty, first appointment is 10 days away. Pretty pathetic service. Not buying appliances from Best Buy again.

I picked up this range as an open box for a great price. I did a ton of research on new ranges and this by far is one of the best deals out there for electric ranges. It may not look the fanciest but it's choke full of amazing features for an amazing price. Induction ranges usually costs twice as much. The oven heats up quickly and cooks well. Just an overall awesome appliance By far the greatest feature is Induction. I can't begin to say how amazing cooking with induction is. Pans heat up very quickly and respond to temperature adjustments instantly since your just heating the pots and pans and not the cooktop. The pans are hot as soon as you cut it on. You can even boil a large pot of water in 2 minutes ( I have verified this myself). Cleaning the glass is a breeze since your not heating the cook top. The only drawback is that you need to make sure that your cookware is magnetic (just see if a magnet will stick to the bottom). If you do go with this stove do yourself a favor and buy some Tri-ply cookware which can be found for really good prices online. They perform extremely well and are very efficient when used with induction. Best buy also did an excellent job delivering and installing my new range. Very pleased with the entire transaction. I usually never write reviews but this range is just to good not too.

Purchase and delivery from BB was a wonderful experience. Bought it while remodeling our kitchen Because of construction delays it sat in the living room for several months. When we finally took it out of the box we found that the extended warranty from Frigidaire, recommended by many, had to be purchased within 30 days of product purchase. Called them and found we could still get it but had to pay an extra $25. Very disappointing. Asked for a supervisor and was placed on hold for a long time. She was very unsympathetic and steadfast in adhering to company policy. I hope warranty service, if needed, is better. Maybe I should have gone with Best Buys extended warranty.

Best Buy was very good to allow me to purchase this range in exchange for a similar Samsung range that broke and couldn't be repaired. This range is well made. Made in the USA and works great. The knobs for the cooktop are a big improvement over the other ranges buttons. The Oven is huge and heats up fast. Can't say enough about induction! Awesome! Nothing spills and burns on, boils almost in an instant. Expensive but well worth it.
