Cooks fast. However, you need to press buttons hard to operate and doesn't turn off automatically when pots are not presents so be careful. Should have a automatic safety feature. Ease of use
Overall for the price its worth it. hopefully last in the long run.

This is our second induction stove, works well and for the price it is about half the cost of all other induction stoves. If you are unsure about induction this is a great stove to start with. We won’t use anything but induction stoves going forward. Cooks fast and evenly and is leaps and bounds better than radiant cooktops. You don’t have to wait for the stove to heat the glass then the pot, induction heats the pot directly. Worth the money.

Having had gas ranges as a child/young woman but ending up in a home with NO access to natural gas when we moved to VA, I was seriously unhappy with electric stove's slow temperature response.
I was SHOCKED at how pricey it is to have a gas line installed into an existing structure (More than this range costs) So decided to try induction. This range was reasonably priced and has a convection oven in it to boot!
The day it was installed, I decided to first check out the "Power boil" setting...AMAZING! Two cups of water to a FULL rolling boil in 87 seconds FLAT. A quick tap down on the power to a 4 and a PERFECT bare simmer was achieved in less than 3 seconds.
Everything cooks evenly and because the cooktop doesn't get super hot it is a dream to clean (It will get hot because the PAN gets hot, but far cooler than a regular electric smooth top does, so no charred on mess.)
The convection oven works beautifully as well. Everything cooks evenly and browns perfectly. Just remember to make the temperature adjustments so you don't overcook things and you will LOVE the "Quick Bake" feature. Also, if you place frozen fries and such on a rack over a baking pan then follow the package directions, they come out FAR crisper than if baked ON the sheet pan...almost like an air fryer! (Note: I love ther convection setting so much I pretty much use it for everything and rarely just "Bake" things anymore.
If you want induction, but have a budget to consider, this is a great range!

Even though the instructions say to not rely on store bought oven thermometers, I have a brand new one and one at least ten years old tht read exactly the same. The first time I turned the oven on and set it for 400 degrees they both read 350. The second time I used it I set it at 425 and they both read 450. I'll wait a few times more before calling in a warranty call. Other than that, which is no small deal, I really like the induction cook top.

AHJW9, that is quite a difference in both directions! I understand your frustration. Please ensure you do not have aluminum foil lining the bottom interior of the oven (it will alter the heat distribution, produce poor baking results, and possibly cause permanent damage to the oven interior). If the oven consistently is over or under the set temperatures, page 31 in your Owner’s Manual has instructions for adjusting the oven temperature. If this hasn’t helped, please reach out to us directly for assistance. We are here for you. *Ruth

This stove is a great buy for the ability to cook with induction. But remember, not all cookware will work with induction. Most of ours was ok, but a set of stainless steel water-less cookware (over 40 yrs old) did not work .

Have had problems with the oven light blowing since I purchased in Nov 2017. Electrolux has come to service 3 times and then replaced the control board. So far light still working. Will update of it blows again. There’s definitely uneven heating on the surface which they blame on bad quality pans (I use Lodge cast iron mostly and also Breville pans) not sure how true this is though as induction should not produce hot spots, should be even heating. I’m ok with the purchase, this thing boils water SUPER fast! Love that. Convection oven is just ok.

POOR QUALITY; FRONT, RT BURNER WILL NOT BOIL WATER

I purchased this range in April of 2018. Very shortly thereafter, the front right burner stopped working properly. Even on it's highest setting of 'power boost', it would create steam, but would not bring water to a boil.
Therefore, I made a Frigidaire warranty claim, and a tech came out ordered/replaced the main board. I thought that had taken care of the problem. Unfortunately, though, I was wrong. Within 2 days, I discovered the problem remained.
I then texted the tech who had made the repair mere days earlier, and he responded to say I needed to call Frigidaire back to get a different repair company to come out bc he didn't know what else could be creating the problem.
I did just that, and Frigidaire sent out a different technician from a different company. This second tech verified the problem and told me he needed to order 'a part'. He said he would let me know once it arrived, but I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN!
Sooooo, I called Frigidaire yet again and they sent out a 3rd tech (from the same company who originally replaced the main board.) This third technician ordered/replaced the SAME PART that had just been replaced.
Much to my frustration, the front, right burner stopped working again -- as in the next day!
In other words, the range shorted out THREE brand new main boards... the original, and two replacements.
While the third technician was in my home, I asked whether it's possible that there is another part of the range that's shorting out the main board. He responded with "It's possible," but offered no details.
When I contacted Frigidaire following his visit, I sent them a 6-minute video as proof of my claim that even after the part replacement that had been that week, water would not boil on the front right burner, even after 6 minutes.
In the submitted video, I rotated two different pots/pans between all four burners, as evidence that the problem was NOT that I was using the wrong type/size of pot/pan. My pots/pans are, in fact, specifically designed for induction stove tops, and worked perfectly fine on the other three burners.
I explained my concern for the potential of a short that may result in an electrical fire. I also expressed my frustration in being inconvenienced 5 afternoons over the same problem, in LESS THAN A YEAR of owning this product.
I should add that each time I scheduled appointments with a new technician, they required I allow them a 3-hour range in time to show up -- and none of them had the needed parts on their truck.... Meaning none of them could make the repair in one visit. Each had to return on a later date, requiring I sit home another 3-hours on a work day.
All that said, a few weeks ago, I was thrilled to learn Frigidaire had agreed to replace the range after reviewing my video.
The delivery sub-contractor installed the new/replacement range today, May 13th, 2019. Before they left, we tested the new stove top.
Low and behold, the brand new replacement range has EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE FIRST!!!
I thought I had rcvd a lemon the first time, but now it's obvious there is a wide-spread mechanical problem with this model.
Just as I did with the first/original range, I have taken a video, which I will be emailing Frigidaire later tonight, as proof that the problem is NOT 'user error', nor does it have anything to do with the type/size of pots/pans I use.
At this point, I want a different/better Frigidaire model, or a FULL refund to put toward the purchase of a different brand.
I believe I have been more than patient, and even held off on writing this review because I wanted to allow Frigidaire an opportunity to remedy this problem.
If/when they respond, I will provide an update here.
Even at the low cost, I highly recommend you DON'T purchase this model -- unless you're 'into' major headaches, and have time to waste on multiple service calls.
I sorely regret not paying a little more money for purchase of a higher quality range, made by someone other than Frigidaire.
I have literally put aside 18 HOURS of my time to deal with SIX technician visits, yet the problem remains unresolved. Mind you, that figure does not even include the time I have wasted sending/making videos/emails/phone calls.
I sincerely hope this review will not only help other consumers avoid a similar nightmare experience, but I am hopeful Frigidaire will pull this product off the market until/unless this defect is corrected.

I love my new Induction Range. It heats water 40% faster than the microwave. I have have a couple of pots cooking and the whole kitchen doesn't heat up. The convection oven is more efficient too. With the smooth cooktop that doesn't get hot makes clean up a snap! Very Happy!

I was always frustrated cooking on electric stoves till I got this one. I can turn the burner on to the temperature I want to cook at and the burner stays at that temperature till I change it. Also liquids will boil within minutes of turning on the burner. It is amazing.
The only downside is that your pans have to be magnetic but since I have mostly stainless steal that wasn't a drawback for me. I did have to replace a few of my non stick pans but I have since found that there are adapters you can use with those pans so it isn't an issue once you get one of those.
