This A/C does a great job, perfectly suited for tight window openings and rooms that are bedroom size. The auto temp feature is fantastic and does a great job of regulating the amount of cool or cold you want. It runs very quiet and makes sleeping a pleasure. The unit itself seems very sturdy, and not cheap. The remote is a handy accessory and feels good in your hand. Overall a reliable product, well made, and appropriately priced. I'd recommend this air conditioner.

I read reviews that this was quiet, and it is! Even on the high fan setting. Works great in my bedroom, but it's only 6K BTU so don't use it in a huge room and you will be golden. Easy to install in MY Anderson window, and the included bracket works great. It may be a little bigger and heavier than other 6000 BTU units, but I like the look of the wider and lower design of the interior portion. More sun comes in the window, and the side panels do not have to be extended much to close the gaps, so they should last. I find the upward pointing vents great. The air blows up and bounces down off the ceiling creating a nice flowing cool cloud of air, as opposed to getting hit directly with cold air. Overall a great purchase.

It's low profile, low noise and eco setting are perfect for a good night sleep. The air is delivered from the top directing the flow to the ceiling and back down. Perfect and quick way to cool a room in no time. The air conditioner is top quality.

I bought this window AC for a small bedroom (12x15). Although we have central AC my son likes his bedroom to be a lot colder. Its compact size worked well. Its runs very quietly and does a great job!

I bought this air conditioning because I have one large window in my bedroom. I figured this would fit because it expands wider than the other air conditioners. Well, it took me so long to put it in my window, just to find out the cool air shoots up, not out. So, basically it cools off the window that it is in. I had to buy a air deflector, and that didn't work. I might have to return this expensive item.

This is a second unit we got for the living room. The first one is more than perfect for the bedroom. If 6000 btu is what you need get two and you will be covering your apartment quite well. 12000 btu total but 6000 btu each room. You know what I'm saying ;-)

Quiet, energy efficient and it has a sleep mode that I love. I plan to buy another one.
