We use it in an insulated basement area. The first one was great at removing moisture from the air and keeping the basement cool in the summer and warm in the winter. When it started to fail, we bought the currently available Frigidaire ac/heat unit. It worked ok at first, but did not remove nearly as much moisture from the air as the first one. At a year old, we were having moisture levels of 65-70%. Since it was under warranty, we called Frigidaire. They said that wasn't right and that they would replace the unit. So, we now have the latest Frigidaire ac/heater. It has been installed about 2 weeks now and is keeping the humidity level under 60%, but barely under 60% most of the time. We have to keep the temperature lower than what we would like to make the unit run more to remove more moisture in the air. Thankfully, we have a dehumidifier in another room in the basement, or I know we would have a problem.

I purchased it the first time to get it sent to my house, it gets sent to my house and it comes it with a nasty bump on the corner and just not taken care of so I return it. I order the same one to get it sent to the store so they will judge and see if it’s in good condition or not, go to pick it up and the same thing. These guys don’t even care about quality so never again will I buy an appliance from here.

Very Good replacement to my old AC

I am happy with my purchase and enjoy all the different settings on the unit. My only gripe is that when I am using the ECON mode that unit waits until the temperature rises significantly before cutting on. My fix has been to lower the thermostat temperature in order to maintain reasonable temperature while still allowing the fan to not run continuously On my last utility bill I noticed that this unit appears to be more efficient than my last unit. My utility bill was 20 dollars less than what I paid August of last year.
