Knowing this isn't an A/C, I kept my expectations reasonable with this unit. On a dry 90+ degree day, had to seal my kid up in her room due to covid. Used an outward blowing window fan to pull air from the room to the outside of the house, kept a jug of ice cold water in the fridge for the tank. On medium setting, oscillating fan, her room was super comfortable. We had tried this unit the super hot summer before without the air circulation and it would definitely get swampy over time. The window fan made all the difference. I would say this is definitely meant for a very small space, but the movement of air outward seems to be key. We love that it uses less energy than an a/c unit.

Overall the product does what it's marketed to do. Extremely easy to set up and operate. It does cool a small room but not for a long period of time. A problem I do have is that when using the remote control it will disconnect the wireless internet connection in that room.

I like this product, works well for a small room, low maintenance, easy to use, quiet.

Didn’t cool my room. Maybe my room is too big for this but it didn’t make a difference room was still hot.

I have so much expectations for all frigidaire products with the exception of this cooler. I ordered this online as a gift to my nephew for his small spaced college dorm use. There was an unexpected three week delay in his move-in. When he started using this just ten days ago, it doesn't give the cool air that he expected. The personal cooler/ fan that his dorm mate bought from Amazon gives colder air at half the price. I wasted my $100 + money on this. I tried to speak to the general customer service rep for a possible return or exchange and advised me to call the Best Buy Stafford store manager (nearest to me) and I can be covered. The manager did not even bother to hear me nor speak to me after a long wait. The phone rep just gave me the store managers message that there is only a 15 day window for returns. That's not good PR and service for the store esp for BB members like our family. I am very upset because they gave me no option to resolve my case.

Does the job but can get annoying having to refill it constantly especially in times of very high heat would be good for very small rooms

Doesn’t cool don’t buy it and it is pricey very disappointed

The product itself is good, but as a fan, only useful if you are living in a dry area

Works great. It is not an air conditioner, but I knew that. I live in Arizona, where is usually dry and hot, and I use it when on the patio. Have it blowing right at me, and provides a little cool breeze. Best way to use it is to use the ice packs that come, and keep a pitcher of cool water in the fridge to fill up the water tank. Because it is an evaporative cooler, don't expect a lot of cooling when it is humid outside.

It doesn't work so good, i put cold water with ice but the still doesn't come out cold it doesn't throw so much air either its ok with other fans around

good for a small room, not as good as ac, but got it done.

Bought for my son. He said it’s okay. Really need to have it on you or close to you. On hot days it blows out not as cool as he wanted to.

Better than just a fan. Cools the bedroom without having to vent out a window! Addition of included ice packs to water reservoir adds extra cooling. A full water reservoir lasts 8 - 10 hours on high for us. Lightweight and easy to move around.

It does NOT cool a room! Even packed with ice. It is basically an overpriced fan. Worst $90.00 I’ve spent .

This is more like a fan. Need to put on the highest fan speed and it is pretty loud.

Makes a mess and does not cool. Comes with 2 ice packs that defrost quickly. Poor concept

Kept quality of the air in my home breathable. It's like an air purifier I have COPD and it helped me tremendously. So good I have to buy another one

As a fan, its great. As a device to cool the air, its not the best. It can but its barely noticeable.
