    I like that my Frigedaire refrigerator has a air filter that filters odors that build up in over time. I just wish the filters lasted longer than 6 mos With the water filter, that's almost $200 a year to maintain a refrigerator that cost around $1000. That's like buying a car and having a maintenance bill of $6000 each year from day 1. What I thought was a good deal doesn't look like much of a bargain a year later and after my third set of filters.

    Filter must be working since I don't notice any food odors. However, the refrigerator recommends changing filters every 6 months whether you need to or not.
