I guess its good enough to keep water cool but not cold. Definitely not for beer unless you like your beer "warm". I gave it to my wife to keep her perfumes fresh.

Poor Design with Flimsy Construction!

The one I ordered arrived with a shattered front door glass. It wouldn’t have held more than 3 cans of pop! It was returned to Best Buy for a refund.

Posted .Hi AssBeak, this unit is cooled by means of a thermo-electric cooling module that has the ability to cool approx. 20F-25F below ambient temperature. There is no thermostat i.e. the cooling module runs continuously.
If your pop was placed in the cooler when it was at room temperature, it can take a couple of days to reach 20F-25F below room temperature. The unit works best when it is used to keep already cold pop cold.
