I bought the speaker after searching other stores for wtaerproof speakers and taking several back and i would be happy to reccomend this to a friend

I love this speaker I take it everywhere with me It's always to go to speaker whenever my friends and I are outside .

This speaker is superb, shower with it, throw it around, whatever, this thing can handle it and it sounds AMAZING!!!

This speaker worked great on a family vacation we went on recently. We brought it down to the lake several times and had no issues with it.

Having several ( 5 different ) BT speakers , this one is by far the best quality sound. Deeper Bass than my other models, Sony , JBL . They don't let you run it so loud that the music quality on your speakers gets distorted. I expect there is a bit more power in there that is untapped. Maybe a later firmware update will allow this ? My main reason for buying was the beach and having lost my 250 dollar Sony , It petered out due to the water, sand and elements , this speaker is the perfect choice for anyone who lives life. The extreme battery life is also a plus and looking forward to seeing how much of it I get.

This is a great speaker, it has a rare combination of great sound, long battery life and durability. I use it at work almost everyday and people always ask me about it. The sound is well balanced it has plenty of bass and the voices sound very clear with no distorsion. Some people say that it looks and sounds like a car speaker. At mid volume for sure i can get at least 24 hr of music on one charge, at full volume maybe about 11. I almost never have to turn the volume all the way up because at mid level is more than enough for me and this thing can get very loud. I like the fact thet i don't have to be too gentle with it unlike other speakers. I highly recommend this speaker to anyone.

I bought for outdoors. It is rugged and has plenty of solid places to tie to things but there is a rattle in the case at times, sound quality and volume wasn't impressive and battery came completely dead. Overall for price there's better solutions.

I purchased the Fugoo xl as it looked promising according to the specs. When it arrived the unboxing process was simple and as you open up the box you see the speaker. Under the speaker lay the accessories and Manual. The Manual has instructions for the three versions of the Fugoo xl, in many different languages. Pairing with the device was simple and fast even though it doesn't have NFC. Voice prompts guide you through the process. Upon testing battery life was amazing and I got an amazing amount of use before needing to charge the speaker again. It feels very durable and is also waterproof so for someone who does a lot of outdoor activities you will love this speaker. Now the most important thing to consider when buying a speake is obviously the sound quality. I tested the speaker indoors and outdoors. The sound at lower level does lack in bass, as the volume goes up the bass is more appropriate. Also the sound seems muffled like it is under a blanket. This muffled sound was more notable indoors. Outdoor is where the speaker does the best, even on normal mode it sounds good, but when you activate outdoor mode the speaker really shines. The 360 degree sound is actually apparent and true, unlike the ue boom. This is one of the only portable Bluetooth speaker I have heard that has a noticeable amount of stereo separation, though this is only when you sit relatively close to the speaker and sounds best when watch a movie. Comparison: I compared this speaker to the Jbl xtreme, which is a fair comparison given the prices of both speakers. To keep it short, the Fugoo wins in all categories except sound quality. The Fugoo is way more rugged and waterproof, the battery life is way better, it is easier to carry around, it has more features. When looking at sound quality the Jbl wipes the floor with the Fugoo, the Jbl is crystal clear and has more definition in the low end, with bass. The Fugoo has just enough bass to get by, but for most people including myself it is obvious that it lacks bass and also sounds muffled. This muffled sound is common in the durable waterproof speaker range, as the drivers require extra protection when compared to a less durable speaker. To conclude the Fugoo is probably one of the most rugged speaker and is definitely for the outdoor person. It can definitely handle whatever you throw at it. It is not for you if you like a good amount of bass. If you like bass and can sacrifice durability the Jbl xtreme is a must have. Fugoo Xl(pros and cons): Pros- 35 hour battery life Extreme durability Feature packed 2 sound modes Stereo separation Mad for the outdoors Waterproof Cons- Sound muffled Has very little bass, the amount of bass was disappointing The tough jacket is not suitable for an office setting The biggest problem with the speaker is that it lacks bass, when I say lacks, it was actually disappointing how little bass it had. Especially for a speaker of this size, if heard smaller speakers with more bass. I give it a 7 out of 10

Could not have made a better choice for outdoor Bluetooth speaker!!!

We returned it due to the tinny vocals when you turn it up. I didn't "need" weather proof. I like the dual side sound, but not worth the weird tinny vocals. Too bad, it was a nice speaker except for that

I like it so far but the only thing I noticed is that the sound is not very loud even if I go all the way up I have A JBL Bluetooth speaker and the sound is much louder than this Fugoo

Great speaker. Only problem with speaker is it only last 15hrs. in between charging. I am going to return and try another unit, but it sounds great.

For the price this should have been the loudest bluetooth speaker. Instead it was a little mouse.

Bought this to hook up with our outdoor projector. The sound wasn't enough with a crowd but with this it is plenty loud enough.

I liked the speaker and it's toughness. It was just too big for my purposes.

Waited 1 yr for this, and it was well worth the wait. Camping, hiking, boating, climbing, hanging with friends or just out back in the garage. This speaker is THE best, battery seems to lasts forever and the sound is dynamicallythe 9, rich and full. I can go on and on and on, but trust me, I've been through alot of them and nothing is better than the Fugoo Tough XL right now. The UE Boom is a little louder, only because it's screamy but the music quality that you get from Fugoo will shock people when here it. And also, it sounds even better at home than it does in the store display. I think this thing is gonna last a looooong time. For me, It's Fugoo Tough XL or Nothin!!
