    Huge disappointment

I wasn't expecting great pictures (they are mediocre). It would have been nice if the controls were easy to use (they are not) and if the bluetooth app for transferring pictures was usable (it wasn't). But all I really wanted was that the camera be waterproof. It was not. The leak wasn't obvious, but after about 10 minutes shooting underwater the camera display started to get foggy. Then it would freeze up, just stopped responding to the shutter button. Turning it off and back on would usually get it to work 3 or 4 more times, but then it would freeze up again. After about 30 minutes the screen just went blank and it quit working completely. When it dried out it would work again on dry land, but the picture quality is way below what I could get on my smartphone so I didn't really care about that. I just wanted it for underwater. Worst of all, Fujifilm requires consumer to pay shipping to send device to a "repair center" even when it was defective out of the box! Honestly, I just want my money back. The snorkeling vacation is over, picture taking plans are already ruined. I am not willing to spend more money on a camera that I will probably never use again.

I bought this camera for a trip to Jamaica. My last trip to the Carribean I used my iPhone camera which was okay, but then I had my phone with me ALL of the time. I like to leave my phone behind and completely disconnect from the world when I am on vacation, but I wanted a camera that was waterproof and could take videos AND I didn't want to drop a ton of $$ to do it. I purchased this on sale and it did everything I could ask for and more. I especially liked the convenience of WiFi connectivity when we got home. I didn't have to mess around with cords and plugging it into a computer, etc. I just loaded my photos right up to shutterfly and FB in one fell swoop and was finished. I did buy a float strap for it, but the wrist strap that came with it felt very secure. I would definitly recommend this camera to the average joe wanting a quality camera for vacation or just quality pictures anytime. It isn't a professional model, but it cuts the mustard and doesn't break the bank and that is what counted for me.

I bought the Fuji FinePix XP120 after returning from a Hawaiian cruise last year. When I was invited to go to Kona, HI on short notice I couldn’t find it anywhere! So I set out to buy another one and Best Buy was the only place I could find it in-Store! They had the XP130. I used it for snorkeling and got some really cool pix. I swam with dolphins and with turtles and I’m happy with the results from this easy to use camera. Most of the time we were there it was overcast and the pix I took were still nice, but on the one occasion when the sun was out, they were exceptionally sharp and clear. I didn’t use all the functions of the camera, but all that I did worked well. Nice to have a 5x optical zoom on an underwater camera!

We had the older version of this camera for around 5 years, but it wore out. When we went to replace it, we saw this version and didn’t hesitate to buy it. They made it easier to open the SD card slot and the charging is done in the same place. The camera is easy to take with you and you can easily take pictures with one hand. We used it when climbing a waterfall, hiking in he rainforest, zip line adventure, repelling a cliff, swimming in the ocean and more. I do wish it had a longer zoom and a higher image size - so you can crop to get closer without loss of quality. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I would buy this again if we needed a new watercamera.

This is in no way a professional camera, it doesn't pretend to be... it doesn't even claim to be a good hobby camera. What this is, is better than what is in a phone, much more durable than a phone, much more comfortable to handle than a phone, and much better battery life than using the camera in your phone. This camera is meant for someone who really wants to take a lot of pictures, but doesn't need the best quality and wants the confidence of knowing that their really expensive phone is safely in their pocket not having its battery drained.

I always have this camera with me, even when I am carrying my professional gear.Camera worked VERY well and was a joy to operate. This was my first time snorkeling and using a waterproof camera. Having owned a dSLR, I expected this camera to have a sluggish shutter and to be terribly limited. I was wrong. It worked beautifully. Underwater pictures attached may not impress, but given the number of firsts for me including a very strong current, I am pleased and will treasure these photos! The underwater pictures are an accurate reflection of how it looked to the naked eye! It was that color and a little cloudy.

It is like it's predecessors (xp 90 60 and 120) with a few added features like more effects options takes somewhat better photos than its predecessors-is actually more rugged than advertised-shutter speed and battery life not affected by subzero temperatures-at $129 was a steal-same price I paid for the XP 60 5 years ago-and it is a better camera and is completely "backward compatible" a "must buy" since it shrugs off adverse weather and can withstand being dropped! It uses the same battery and cables as previous models!

We purchased this camera for our vacation. It worked fine during the test pictures before the trip. The first time we used it on our vacation it took 5 pics and then started showing a dead battery. Charged battery and continued to show dead battery and then turned off. Never would recover the rest of the trip. Tried to return to the store for refund but was not allowed to do that. Had to return for repair. Not Happy !!

This little cam was surprisingly better than expected, meeting or slightly outperforming others in its price range. Having both wifi + bluetooth connectivity at this price is a nice bonus. Other reviews claiming a very short battery life had me worried at first but it was actually about average, allowing plenty of pics and a few lengthy videos. Price seems to be regularly low to phase it out for a newer model, so it's a great value.

Bought this at the last minute before a week long sailing trip in BVI. it took great underwater pics and films, but the more surprising part was the great pics it takes normally!! easy to use, great wrist holder for when you are underwater and have to swim against the current (it happened to me) and it stayed tight on my wrist. Overall very happy, with only one caviat... trying to sink with the Fuji app has been sporadic.

A little skeptical at first, as pictures seemed dark overall, but as we got to know the camera we were able to adjust the settings, and were satisfied with the results. Took it near and in water, but so far only one "selfie" that my Grandson took under water. Still a little leary about fully submerging it, but a fine choice for a quick summer vacation. Although, couldn't get WIFI to sync with my phone.

Just purchased a couple weeks ago. Using it around the house experimenting with settings. Have not used it in water so I can't vouch for the waterproof. So far.. easy to use and clear pictures..great color. Had husband help me figure out how to hook to computer and download program to upload pictures. I was taking the card out of camera and loading it into computer tower to get pictures.

This camera is easy to use. It does help if you get familiarized with the settings before you use it underwater, because trying to snorkel and figure out the correct setting to use could be confusing if you wear glasses! My husband had no problem using it under water though. Our pictures came out great despite not very clear waters! Can't wait to have an opportunity to use it again in a tropical setting!

Be careful what you pair it to. Camera contains no instructions on deleting pairing. When I contacted Fuji, they told me to remove battery and wait 24 hours. So I lose my settings and customization because I want to pair to a different device.Totally unacceptable. Need a low end camera? Buy a disposable or save up for a not-so-low-end as this one.

This camera took great photos and videos. However, I went to use the timer and it did not work at all, so no group selfies on vacation. Then, when my memory card was full, photos went to the internal memory and could not be retrieved. I took it to the Geek Squad and they had no luck either. I ended up returning the camera and missing some great vacation photos.

Pretty good pictures out of the water and not too bad under the water. I have had 3 underwater cameras and this is the best I have had so far. It is tough to get great pictures underwater and out of over 100 pictures taken underwater with this camera I have 3 that look pretty darn good. I would purchase this camera again

I purchased this camera just before leaving for The Big Island in May 2018. I knew I would be taking underwater pix as well as aerial shots of the volcano eruptions from a helicopter. It was great for both purposes. I was perfectly happy with the results!

I bought this specifically to use while kayaking so I needed something that's easy to use with accessible buttons and able to autofocus despite some movement (it's hard to be perfectly still while on the water). This camera has met those requirements. I'd prefer a more powerful zoom, but the images hold their quality when cropped.

Bought this and a back-up battery to take to Disneyland. Both batteries were completely dead about 3 hours into a visit. Took maybe 20 photos per day. We ended up having to use out phones to take pictures with all the characters. Did this for the 1st 3 days. Did not use the camera for the rest of the trip.
