I bought this camera because I wanted one I could use while camping and kayaking and also because I was going to Scuba dive in Greece while I was on vacation there. I didn’t want the weight of my larger underwater camera added to my luggage while traveling.
First thing I noticed is this camera eats up battery power if you leave the Bluetooth feature turned on (which allows you to sync the photos to you phone or tablet via the app which is way cool IMO). It takes good pictures, in fact my snorkeling pictures are better than my diving ones. It also take good pictures on land. All in all, I would recommend this camera for its small size, ease of use and quality of photos. Just be sure to get extra batteries and a charger.

I purchased this camera specifically for a trip with my girlfriend to swim with the manatees in Crystal River Florida. I was concerned after reading a few lackluster reviews, but my fears proved to be unfounded. The camera performed perfectly. I left it on automatic mode and just clicked away. The resulting pictures are quite good. Plenty of detail and the colors look good. It may not be a professional camera, but I'm not a professional photographer and it works fine for me.

I’ve had the earlier models and loved them. My wife and I love to snorkel in Hawaii and this camera is excellent. Picture quality is very good. Videos and sound is also good.
Being waterproof to depth greater than I can dive makes it perfect. One must be careful to assure that the battery door is properly locked. That’s what killed my old camera.
At least one dive shop on Maui had this very camera inside it’s own waterproof case for skin diving!
At this price, under $200, it’s hard to beat.

Bought this camera for a trip to Yellowstone National park. Considered getting a better camera for the trip but really wanted something small and easy to use. The Ian charger for the car was quick for recharging.
This camera served us well and when we got home from Yellowstone and downloaded the pics to the computer they were amazing.
This is a small camera that’s easy to hike with and takes pretty nice pictures

The camera works very well with good photo quality. The picture controls are easy to use. The video with image stability is smoother than I am.
The wireless interface to Android phones could be significantly improved both in the camera and in the phone app. The transfer works fine but getting to the transfer can be frustrating.

My wife & I are going on a cruise. We will be doing a few underwater excursions, so she wanted to take some pics underwater. Before we leave, she wants to get familiar with the camera so there would be no glitches when we're out at sea. Therefore, we went in the pool and took some underwater pictures. All I have to say is, WOW!, what great pictures. Also, easy to use. The price is right and this is all you need for your water pics.

For the price, this camera definitely delivers! It's super lightweight and user-friendly. I love that it includes a bluetooth feature (I mean, the technology has been there for years so it was about time) and it takes really good underwater pictures. Compared to other cameras of the same range/specs, I prefer this one. Just make sure to take a portable charge for long trips, maybe even an extra battery.

I went on a week long river rafting trip. I needed a camera that could take some abuse. It survived getting dunked in water several times. It survived getting dropped a few times too.
Pros:
- Pictures were good. (not great...)
- The multi-shot mode was great for action shots
- Easy to use
Cons:
- The screen is not visible when wearing polarized sunglasses
- I wish it had an exposure bracketing setting . (can be done manually)
spare battery (s) can be helpful...
Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Bought this camera just before our Caribbean vacation. this was the perfect camera for our vacation. Small enough to put it in my pocket while walking around the sites and while snorkeling. Images were just perfect and the video quality is very good. I would suggest to anyone looking for a camera with a budget.

This is not the first camera I purchase from Fujifilm and it won't be my last. Amazing value for your money. The ability to take a picture and transfer it over to your phone using the app is very handy. I tried it to see the quality of the picture taken on the phone and I was impressed! Stunning detail and the transfer was fast. The app is user friendly as well. I originally purchased this for my vacation pictures only. This is shock resistant and I'm known for dropping things during travel. I liked that feature because I've dropped several cameras before and they stop working, but the additional pros of this product made me love it!

I am very impressed by this camera. It takes very clear photos under the water and regular photos. I purchased this camera to take to Discovery Cove in Orlando and I am very happy with my photos and videos. The fish and coral are clear and it does not fog up when you take it out of the water for regular photos. Although I have yet to try it out in the ocean, it was definitely a hit on vacation in the resort pool and Discovery Cove coral reef pool. We have lots of family videos and photos to cherish thanks to this camera. I purchased a float sting attachment as well just in case we dropped it in deep depths. It’s light weight but made very well.

Gift for my very active and outdoorsy wife -- she loves it. Easy to use, even with one hand, nice sized screen (although it's not super easy to see in direct sunlight, but for the price, it still earns a 5-star rating). She hasn't tried it in the water yet (it's still winter), but plans to. For outdoors, camping, paddle board, kayak, hiking, etc. this will definitely be her go-to. The rez is good, flash has nice range, sporty color makes it easy to spot at dusk, fits into pockets easily, and importantly was easy to set up as well. Wish it came with a case, but not a big deal.
