The slower shutter speed allows this camera to capture brighter background using flash. Taking a selfie is also easy peasy. I purchased this as a gift for my not-too-soon teenage daughter who loves taking photos with her friends.

If not one of the store employees can place an order for you so you can get it fast to your house or in store. Fun camera for a kid under 15ish. Unless their serious about taking photos. Get a nice camera like Canon,Nikon, Sony.
