This camera is so cute and fun. The only thing is getting used to the lighting settings, some pictures don't come out as I would like them to, even when using the recommended lighting. And it's a waste of film, which is pretty expensive, about a dollar per picture, but other than that it's a great camera for lifetime memories.

This Fuji instant mini 8 camera with its fun colors is a hit and a conversation piece with those who remember the old Polaroid cameras of the 70's. Its light weight body and mini color Fuji film and easy usage make it an excellent gift for the amateur photographer. I showed my camera to a colleague and she immediately went out and purchased one from Best Buy.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas and she really loved it. It was easy to use and takes great pictures.

Easy to use and fun. Got it for my daughter and she loves it but the film is quite pricey. The quality of the pictures are just like the old poloroids. The only bad thing is that there can be a bad film in the box. My daughter was upset when one of the pictures didn't develop....Note- film does not come with the camera.

Bought this for my daughter for her birthday and has used it several times. She loves the fact that the pictures print out right away and says it's the new technology toy she loves...........I haven't told her that Polaroid pictures have been out for ages. But down to the bare bones that is basically all that this camera is, just a new and updated Polaroid camera that prints out smaller Polaroid style pictures. The camera itself has a dial around the lense which measures the areas white balance and lights up the mode that the user needs to change it too in order to provide the best possible pictures in the camera's ability. Aside from that it's a point and shoot Polaroid camera that is trying to make Polaroid pictures cool again for the new generation. With that in mind before letting your kids go crazy with the camera, you may want to have a talk with them about making each picture count. At the film sitting at about 1 dollar per print it can get expensive REALLY QUICK, especially since kids now a days are use to digital cameras taking pictures like it was going out of style with no regard to the amount every CLICK can cost.......... My daughter wanted this camera for Christmas; this is a case of "what's old is new again" kind of like vinyl records. Apparently this is becoming popular with the kids. The pictures come out very small, so make sure you are ok with the tiny photos. We took a bunch inside at night, and the room light levels were enough to produce decent pictures. It's definitely a novelty item, and not one you'd use for high quality pictures, but it's a blast to have instant gratification and be able to give someone a parting gift at a party.

This camera is perfect for my tween. She loves having a camera that gives her a picture right away. She learned how to use it very quickly. The camera is easy to use and doesn't have too many bells and whistles, so to speak. The only issue is the cost of film. She has to be sure it's something she wants to take a picture of, before snapping that button!
