A few important notes on it: * Works in all Instax MINI cameras (Mini 8, 25, 50s, Neo 90, Lomo'Instant, TL-70) and printers (instax SP-1, SP2), NOT available in WIDE format * Each pack contains only 10 shots (unlike the common "20 packs" of instax mini (color) film) * The price of 10 Monochrome shots is about equal to 20 Color shots, so keep it in mind. * Retail price should be 10 shots for 10 bucks.. Don't give in to the sellers asking more than that. Using it, it's nice! It's not as nice as some of the earlier black and white films in other formats (like the peel-apart films they discontinued a few years ago) but it's a good change from the color shots. The film itself has a ~2-year expiration date. The packs I received were all dated mid-2018 (and the instax films tend to be good until after that) While the film is Black and White.. I found it to not be true black and white. It has tints of other colors in it (most noticeable, a greenish tint). This sometimes happens when you have a contrast with the black and white but I do wonder if this is true Black and White film or if fuji simply re-worked the color film (as has been hinted at) which is causing this. I was a bit disappointed as I did want a true black and white film without any other color tints. Besides the Instax Monochrome, you can print black and white photos onto Color film using the Instax Share SP-1 or SP-2 printers (and selecting the Black and White option). I found the black and white look from the Instax Monochrome was better than the SP-1/SP-2 prints (on color, but printed in black and white) due to the reddish tint I got from the printer. While the black and white option is nice, and I did buy more, I was hoping for a bit more from it. The higher price, mixed with the odd tint was a bit unexpected. LEICA is releasing their own Black and White instax mini film in November 2016 (at a higher price.. approximate 16-bucks for 10 shots) which I'll definitely be trying out. Until then, if you want black and white instax, direct from a camera (not using the SP-1/SP-2 printers), this is your item!

Great film for this little camera. This is quality film for the Instamatic camera that we purchased at Best Buy I would highly recommend this film as it seems to work very well in the camera and gets quality parents. It seems to have lasted and if taken care of properly and kept at the right temperature in their home I don’t think you would have any problems at all using this film just follow the directions that are Nico. Once again I highly recommend this print film for the camera it is of high quality and we have had no problems at all with our experience using it

I love the monochrome Fuji Film. I love the idea, when I discovered that they took this product out for the Fujifilm Instax Mini camera I needed to try it out. One thing that I do advice when or if you decide to purchase this item. Is to choose the correct setting when you photograph outside or cover your flash with black tape. I once tried taking a picture by a white painted wall outside, (and it was sunny). The photo obviously came out to over-exposed. Other than that the film is awesome to for that black and white image.

This set of film was a total disaster when my daughter and I used it. It took one photo which turned out with very poor quality then the rest of the film would not come out of the plastic case it sits in inside the camera. No one touched anything incorrectly or messed with it in any way to make it not work correctly. Most other films we have tried, worked fairly well. Although I am not impressed with the quality of the photos just in general. More like a toy - not a camera.

If you are into shooting Instax and have never tired the monochrome you owe it to yourself to try this. It comes in the wide and the square format also so no matter what Fuji Instax camera you have you can get the monochrome for it. I thought it would be o.k. but once I started using it I loved it. Get some and see if you like it because if you've never tried it you might find you really enjoy it!

Love the moodiness of the monochrome instax mini film. after the first shot it drew me in like something I used to love and haven't seen in forever. It made the world look simpler at lease in instant film eyes. If you find yourself bored with your instax mini, try the monochrome and see things in black and white.

This film came with the camera I purchased for our 19 year olds birthday. You just can’t go wrong with black and white pictures. This was a fun and great surprise to find with the camera. I’d highly recommend purchasing the black and white film even if it doesn’t come with the camera when purchased. Pictures are beautiful and it just reminds you of simpler days!

This was a lot of fun to play with, and for people comfortable with the settings of the fujifilm you can get some great looking shots. However if you are new to the fujifilm or still getting used to it I would advice holding off on getting these. If you can't properly adjust your camera's settings for the lighting you could wind up with some very dark or overexposed photos.

I bought this for my wife for her little new age throwback camera and it worked as it should. This particular one is for monochromatic pictures and looks great! (monochromatic picture is a black & white or grey-scaled photo, whichever you prefer to call it.) The picture quality is great, but do keep in mind that they are quite small in overall picture size

I love the camera for daughter & black and white film is cool. The con: price for film equals out to $1.00 a picture and they are very small 9.99+tax for 10 pictures. You can develop photos for less. Also i noticed no matter what setting or lighting not all or most of photo wouldnt show up. I prefer the color film for that reason.

The Instax camera is a fun, instant camera and nothing more. It isn't designed to be more, doesn't have the features to be more, and doesn't cost what more does. It's an instant camera that takes instant 2x3 pictures. My daughter loves the camera and the monochrome film for more "artsy" shots of her friends and our dog.

I'm a diehard fan for B&W film, so I was so excited to see that Best Buy carried the monochrome film for the Instax Mini 8. It performs just like the other kinds of film, and the tones are great. The photos will have an added feeling of timelessness, you know? This film is a fun one to try out after using all the normal color film.

It's not black and white, closer to dark shades of blues and greens. Images will look flat with no depth, and lack any sort of details. Any details get lost in the dark areas. It's way overpriced for the quality and quantity. Unfortunately, this is the only option for mini b/w.

This film actually is really awesome to use. It's create a dynamic that I find I like better than the color. The blacks aren't as true black as I was hoping and the grey seems a bit tinted almost, like it's not a true grey, but I've gotten some awesome images from this film and it has a nice quality.

This film takes me back to one I was growing up. My girls love it instantly they have the pics to post on their wall, car, school progects and just show off without any apps to change any way you look. It is what it is. Girls can be so silly. The only down fall is that it's always out of stock.

I bought the black and white shots thinking it would look as clear as it showed on the box but it was darker. I took pictures of my mom for her birthday at home and it just wasn’t as flattering

I got this pack of instant film for my girlfriend and she loves the stuff. She likes taking photos with her Fujifilm camera and they turn out great on this paper. Just make sure the camera model you have is compatible with the paper and you're good to go!

This is a fun item. Neater and cooler than the old polaroids and more cost effective. The film could be a little cheaper, particularly the black and white, but good clean fun for the kids or the young at heart.
