I’ve been a Nikon shooter for years, and while I still have my Nikon gear, I have been having so much fun with my Fujifilm X-T3.
I was interested in Fuji because of the smaller size as well as the quality of the JPEGs and the film simulations. As a father of three children under 4, I don’t have the time or the desire to edit photos. I’ve been getting photos that I’m extremely happy with right out of the camera, and the small size of the camera and lenses allows me to easily take the camera everywhere I go so I’m always ready to take photos of my kids or anything else that comes along.
I love the retro look of the camera, but the dials for ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation, as well as the aperture ring on most Fuji lenses, make this camera so simple to operate. It feels light but solid in the hand. Every time I see it sitting on the table, I just want to pick it up and start taking pictures. This is a camera that begs to be used all the time. It’s made photography fun again for me! I also love that I can send the photos automatically to my iPhone for instant sharing.
I will probably hang on to my Nikon D750 a little while longer, but it won’t be the camera I carry around with me every day due to the extra size and weight. I’m completely satisfied with the X-T3 and expect to continue getting a lot of use out of this camera.

I'm no expert photographer, but I have been researching for my first serious mirrorless camera for months, and only Fujifilm fit the bill in terms of color and aesthetic. The camera met all expectations, making it so easy for me to pick it up and take photos on the fly.
Love that it's so easily customizable with recipes that make jpgs straight out of camera so beautiful.
It may take a bit to get used to setting the controls and getting acquainted to the device but once it's mastered, you realize it's just more tools in your arsenal. It's been helpful going through the manual to get more familiar with it.
It's not heavy, but has that premium feel/weight to it. I clumsily dropped it once on wooden floor, but it's a tank-so far no indication of the accident at all.
One of the best parts is the price. After almost two weeks of picking it up, the price dropped (about $350). But I was able to get in contact with customer service with a post-purchase price match. We love a good deal!
Overall, I can't wait to learn more about this amazing tool and capture more memories with it!

I would not call this a beginner camera, even though, like most cameras, you can automate most of the functions. This is more geared towards people with some experience. Coming from a Canon system, there is a learning curve, but most of the menus are fairly intuitive and there are several function buttons which you can self program to quickly reach your favorites. With superfast autofocus and diverse features, you get your moneys worth this this flagship X-T series camera. Note it is a heavier camera for its size, if looking for portability, look at the X-30.

I am very pleased with my purchase. It’s everything that I’ve ever wanted in a camera plus a whole lot more. I am also very happy with the so called kit lens. It’s more then just a “kit” lens at 18-55 f2.8-4 and the solid build quality impresses me. I will have and enjoy this camera for many years to come!

I have been with Fujifilm since the X-T1. The Fuji system has been an incredible companion to my full frame Nikon systems. The X-T3 is the most incredible x series to date. The ultimate hybrid system with the best color science in the industry.

Got this camera a year ago. Just starting photography as a hobby, and I wanted a camera that I wouldn’t out grow if I get good, but also one with some future proof ness. This thing looks amazing for a start. Love the retro look and the build quality on the body and dials is truly amazing. Feels like you could drop it and be fine. The Wheather sealing is a great touch and really makes you feel much more confident about taking it out, no matter what or where you are. This is made more so if you buy one of Fuji’s Wheather sealed lenses, otherwise this won’t be as big of an advantage of course, but it’s nice either way. The picture quality is amazing, which is especially great for a new shooter like me, who is still in the jpeg faze of my photos. The lens line up is amazing so far, and the whole thing just feels sturdy and has some weight to it, but not too much weight. The film simulations on the camera are really great too. They are hyped up a lot on the reviews and videos, but for good reason. They really are cool, and add some really interesting character to your photos, and make them a lot easier to not need any editing. And trust me, if there is a camera setting or feature you want (at least as a beginner) you’ll get it. There are a thousand different ways to set anything from your shutter sound, to the layout of what you want all the buttons on your camera to control. It’s really a beautiful, durable, and super fun camera and I don’t think you will be disappointed with it. Oh and if you ever want to do any video work with it, this thing is really great for that, especially with the kit lens 18-55 F2.8-4. It’s a great lens with built in stabilization. This is good to know when choosing you first lens. It’s not Wheather sealed (the lens), but it is a great lens. If you don’t care about that though (or your good just grabbing a gimble), ide grab one of the little F2 primes with this when you buy it. I got it with the kit lens and then recently got the Fuji 23mm F2 R WR prime lens. It’s amazing and the 23mm is a wide enough view but not to wide. It’s quite a bit shaper and has better color to it. I was very pleased shooting around with it by comparison to the kit lens right away. It’s also Wheather sealed and as I said above, the confidence that comes with that is amazing. If not that, I’ve heard great thing about the 35mm f2 as well (Fuji’s nifty fifty lens basically). It’s better at close focus as well so if that’s important to you you might grab that one instead. No matter what your get it with though, I really think you will love this camera

I do wedding videography and, until now, have been strictly using Canon 5D Mark IVs. Don't get me wrong, the Mark IVs are great still cameras and not too shabby video cameras. However, I do not like not being able to shot in 4K 60FPS. Also, the weight of holding this camera, lens, microphone and a gimbal is getting a bit much for me to "run and gun" with. I tried the XT-3 yesterday at a wedding and the weight difference was basically like a feather compared to my Mark IV set-up. I haven't edited any footage yet, so I am curious to see how FLOG compares to CLOG, dynamic range, noise, etc. I will say, the battery dies super quick. You will want to get the battery grip or a handfull of extra batteries right away if you will be shoot video. This is not a deal breaker, but something to be away of.

In Love With This Camera

This camera has added new enjoyment to creating photos. I enjoy using the dedicated manual dials to control exposure. I originally purchased this kit to be a travel setup instead of having to carry my a7III around with its larger lenses but have found myself using it for much more than that. I was able to purchase this kit during a sales event making it a very attractive purchase.
The size of the camera is a bit larger than I’m used to for an APS-C camera but doesn’t bother me too much as the accompanying lenses are much smaller than lenses for my full frame camera. The camera grip is on the shallow end, but there are grip accessories that you can purchase if you need more depth.
The picture quality is great. The kit lens is more than enough to get you started although I have also purchased used copies of the 23mm f2, 35mm f2, and the 56mm f1.2. Even at used prices, the cost of Fuji XF lenses are a bit high, so understand that before buying into this system.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a fine APS-C camera. In the past I've preferred full frame but am happy with the shots I'm getting from this camera. I appreciate the Fuji "film" looks and the multiple options I have to fine tune any of them. I'm shooting with the kit lens (exceptionally good for a kit lens), some older Leica M lens, and an older Nikon manual focus. All work very well. This is a great carry all day camera since it's lightweight. I'll be enjoying it for a long time. My only sadness is that I purchased it shortly before Fuji dramatically dropped the price.

Having primarily shot with Nikon DSLR cameras in the past, I decided to give the Fuji a try, and was immediately impressed. The camera was much smaller and lighter, and the XF lenses are great. The only downsides I've noticed so far are the lack of in body image stabilization and lack of duals which would allow for one handed operation and quick adjustments to shutter, aperture, and iso.

I loved my X-T2 and used it really often. I never really found myself wanting to upgrade until I started playing around with more video.
The auto focus had been updated drastically and was infinitely more useful for video and stills. When I'm taking stills I can now just worry about framing and have the camera do all of the work of focusing on the face and eye.
Of course you you could always choose to not use it this way. I still find myself using back button focusing since that's just how I'm used to shooting, but it's always a blast to be able to rely on auto focus for those weird angles.
At the time of purchasing, the X-T3 wasn't available in a body only, so I chose the kit. I did use the lens for some time as it was very handy to have a zoom, especially one of that never got too dim at the longer focal lengths.
I contemplated long and hard on whether or not I would keep the lens, and ultimately ended up selling it along with my X-T2.

I have a Canon 5d Mark III, and was looking for something a little less complex for my girlfriend since she wanted to get into photography. I have to say this is probably the best APS-C camera out there. Well with the Fuji XT4 not anymore.
The image quality is absolutely fantastic even with the kit lens. I bet when you put on a Fuji prime lens you will be in heaven. Menu system is a breeze. The body is a tad bit small, but it doesn't matter since it's fantastically balanced. Get it. You'll love it.

Being an amateur with photography, this camera makes me want to go out and take pictures. I’m enjoying the physical dials, extra storage space with the two slots, and general ease of use.
Everything came in new condition and working. Relative easy to set up. Syncing with my phone was a bit of a pain.
I look forward to getting more use out of of this camera.
Best Buy had a bare bones package compared with other places. Bought here for the points and that I’m confident in Best Buy to deliver.
