Before the XT2, I used to shoot with Nikon D90, D5000, D7200. While each Nikon did a great job and meet my expectation but each set up is big and a bit heavy to carry around town. In addition, The lack of good Nikor APSC lens was also a reason why I turned my back on Nikon. Buying the XT2 is the right decision for me. Pictures are sharp, auto focus is quick, all the control function is right there at my finger tips, small and light weight with many good lens to choose make it a winner in my book. Highly recommended.

Amazing colors on jpgs straight out of camera and very low level noise on high ISO. Camera is small and light so it is a pleasure to carry around unlike bigger and heavier dsrl (previously owned a canon 40d). Also the level of customization is amazing. Very happy with my purchase.

    Best Mirrorless Experience by Far

I have shot Nikon and Canon DSLRs, and more recently got into mirrorless with a used Sony a7 mark ii and a Sony a6500. I definitely liked the upgrades that Sony mirrorless had over the DSLRs I had used previously, but there were some downsides. The main ones were the lack of a good standard zoom lens (even the Zeiss 16-70 wasn't great), and the lack of a good APS-C lens selection. Fuji is a great company because they are focused on the whole package. They don't really make bad lenses (and you can't beat this "kit" lens for $300). It is sharp, has low distortion and has accurate color reproduction. It also has a solid construction that is unmatched by Sony--at least in a lens under $2,000. The body offers the most physical controls I have ever seen. The dials are excellent for stills and you can customize settings to give yourself one-handed control of ISO, and shutter speed if you are into video. The 4k video is amazing, and the 24 mega pixel sensor renders sharp stills as well. Having owned both, I can now say that the sharpness does in fact rival full frame. The colors are amazing and low-light performance is great as well. Any noise that is present at higher ISOs is fine and monochromatic which allows the image to retain detail. There is an extra step when shooting in RAW. Lightroom's demosaicing is not great for Fuji RAF files, so I use Iridient X-Transformer to convert to DNG, then I process in Lightroom. The extra step is worth it though, as these files have amazing sharpness, color, and dynamic range. Frequent firmware updates are a huge bonus, because Fuji adds whatever they can to make the photography/videography experience more enjoyable and productive. They don't withhold features in order to sell future models. These updates are so monumental in the abilities they add, they can actually make your camera feel completely new. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anything else to a friend looking in this price range as Fuji really has put together something quite amazing here. For it's weight, size and price point, I don't believe there is a better camera out there.

I spent about three months researching aps-c cameras and it came down to a choice between the Sony a6500 or the Fuji X-t2. While the Sony had many great features, I wasn't impressed with either the lens selection or the rangefinder design. Fuji on the other hand carries excellent lenses for this camera (including the fantastic kit lens that comes with the camera itself), and their body is much more solid and comfortable. I also really like Fuji's overall color reproduction much better than the Sony. If you're looking for a rugged, well built camera with excellent image quality, advanced features and lens selection then you can't go wrong with the x-t2.

Compared with xt20 for a while and glad I finally got this. It is a nice camera and not too big or heavy for ladies. Battery is not enough for a whole day shooting, better have backups.

After having bought cheaper pocket(mostly) cameras, I decided to finally get a decent camera. After reading reviews in which this one got very good ratings, I decided to buy it. I am very happy with it, although I need to get used to using a camera that actually has settings again. I also bought the 50-230 zoom, which I don't give quite as high ratings for the chromatic aberration. But then again it was a much cheaper lens.It still doesn't do bad however.

Switched from Canon DSLR, when saw image quality, colors reproduction, speed and size of this camera. Considering latest firmware update one can say I just downloaded brand new camera. The list of available features keeps growing and easily could be compared to latest DSLRs.

This is a great mirrorless camera (frankly, the best on the market as of March 2017). However, if you don't need the weather sealing, extra SD card slot and won't be using the separately sold battery grip, then by a Fuji X-T20. Basically the same camera without the features mentioned above. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE the X-T2. I also love the X-T20. Best in class cameras.

I need to lighten the weight of my camera gear due to a shoulder injury so I've been researching my alternatives to my Canon gear. I decided to try Fuji and I'm glad I did. I really love the XT-2. I went back and forth whether to buy the XT-2 or the XT-3 but decided on the XT-2 since I don't have any Fuji lenses. I've used many cameras and my experience with the X70 convinced me to go with the XT-2. The autofocus of the kit lens is fast. I've only tried stills, no video but they look great. The kit lens is excellent. I've just picked up the 55-200 variable aperture lens and so far, it looks like a winner. If you want a pro-level mirrorless camera then pick up the XT-2 or the XT-3. You won't be sorry.

I feel in love with the look and feel of Fuji cameras and the XT-2 gives you the right mix of megapixels and picture quality. The best thing about the camera is the in-camera JPEG images. I always prefer to shoot and edit in RAW, but Fuji's JPEGs are so good. Being able to shoot multiple film emulation types at once is a nice feature as well.

I fell in love with it the moment I held it in my hands, free and fast shipping too! So hard to not get good images out from it even if I'm just a beginner. Really, the BEST buy. :)

This camera fills a niche for me between my iPhone and my DSLR. The ability to easily adjust aperature, ISO, and/or shutter speed without delving into menus is very useful. Image quality is quite good. No complaints so far.

I tested this camera out for about a week and I loved everything about it for every day shooting. The dials are awesome, super sturdy, feels great in the hand. While it is amazing though, I tried it out at a wedding a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't a fan of the images at a higher ISO. I usually shoot with a Canon Mark iii, and I usually push my ISO pretty high up and the fuji was good just not good enough for what I need it for. I would totally keep this camera for traveling, I just ended up returning it because it's not something I need right now. I definitely plan on repurchasing it in the future for a more walk around hobby camera.

Wife seems to like it and it's less bulky than the non-mirrorless DSLRs out there. Lots of knobs and switches to play with and learn, but quality seems on par with offerings in its price range.
