My original ScanSnap S510 finally died on me after 11 years of faithful service. I didn't think twice about replacing it with the latest model. Frankly, I expected it to be even better. But I can't identify anything that's better. A slightly annoying thing is that the latest version of the ScanSnap Manager app (which I upgraded to when I installed the new scanner) doesn't display the file name of the file you're looking at anywhere (like it used to).

Love this scanner. I have a need for another one, and will purchase again.

If you're looking to keep records in a safe digital manner I would highly recommend this scanner. The document feeder auto detects two pages going through at the same time within 99% accuracy. Bonus benefit is it's wireless connectivity.

This desktop scanner quickly scans documents and then opens the images for filing. Just load your docs and press a button. That's it. A plastic sleeve easily transports smaller items, such as business cards, right through the scanner. Everyone should have one of these.
