Price a little steep but works perfectly

Great portable SSD Drive to use with Mac Book Pro.

I use it with my Mac book pro, no external power required, makes it ideal. Look for it when it goes on sale, these SSD drive are a bit expensive at the moment.

Great for video editing

Great Upgrade from Seagate HDD

Although speeds aren’t EXTREMELY different, the G-Drive is faster. Plus, I don’t have to worry about taking care of the ssd physically as I would a hard drive, taking stress off my shoulders. Overall a good buy.

Make sure that run the Windows exe before using it . This formats the device for WIN 10 and you get the full 1 TByte . Otherwise you get only 3GBytes. My mistake in not reading the instructions .

Nice little SSD drive

No sound, which I guess it's expected for SSD, and no delays when accessing data. If the 2TB was a bit cheaper, I would have gone with that one, but the 1TB has been working great so far. I bought this for reliability, so we will see, but for now, this has been perfect.

Great mobile SSD

The quality of construction appears to be excellent. The drive is as easy to use as a thumb drive. I loaded all of my data onto it which amounted to over 200 GB. Using it to store all my photographs as well as a working drive with my MacBook. The drive comes ready to use with Mac, but you have to use the Windows instruction if you want to use for PC.
