Its a cool looking microwave, A bit on the smaller size but works great

Bought this item for my office. I love it. Small and convenient.

30 days in and this microwave stopped working. It no longer had any power. When I called Best Buy they said I couldn't return it and/or they wouldn't replace it. However they did credit my account $25.00 for the inconvenience. Also, luckily the manufacturer did a full refund. The set (microwave and fridge) are extremely cute and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them but I was bummed out that after a handful of times the microwave stopped working.

I got the Galanz microwave in red. It looks nice and the chrome handle and color give it a retro look. It was easy to unpack and set up. The size is 0.7 cubic feet, which would be small for a large family, but OK for one or two people. It is less than 11 inches high so fits nicely on my microwave shelf. It has a lot of features that aren’t normally found on small microwaves such as multi-stage cooking, preset to start cooking later, time defrost, weight defrost, child lock and an Eco function to turn off the display light to save power. The functions are accessed by pressing one of 5 buttons anywhere from one to seven times. That’s the complicated part. To set the clock you press the CLOCK/PRESET button and turn a dial to enter the hour and then the minutes. Simple enough. However if you turn the dial to the time and THEN press the CLOCK/PRESET button, you are in the preset mode. I did that, left the house and came back 30 minutes later to find the microwave running empty and very hot. Other functions require pushing the buttons a set number of times in a precise order. There are several auto cook modes (A1 – A6), which are accessed by turning the dial counter clockwise. A1 is beverage, A2 is potato, A3 is reheat, A4 is frozen dinner, A5 is popcorn and A6 is pizza (who cooks pizza in a microwave?). The weight of the food has to be known to use the reheating mode. Without scales that part was difficult. Perhaps more useful would be to enter the number of portions instead of the weight. I find I need to refer to the manual constantly. The popcorn mode left ¼ of the bag unpopped. It should’ve gone for an additional 30 seconds. An ear of corn that usually takes 4 minutes to cook took 8. Defrosting a 4oz portion using the 4 oz setting left it frozen solid. I had to say it weighted 12 oz to get it to defrost correctly. It does reheat OK when I use the dial to input the time and bypass the reheat mode when I don’t know the weight. However the timer adjusts in 10 second increments so it’s impossible to set it for 8 seconds or 15 seconds. Water did heat to 180 degrees F using the A1 mode. My overall opinion is that it works well as a basic 0.7 cubic ft, 700 watt microwave but doesn't have the capacity or power to perform the extra features well. I don’t see the value of presetting it to start cooking later or multi-stage cooking since I only use a microwave to reheat, cook vegetables, pop popcorn and defrost. But those functions might be useful if it were the main cooking appliance. Having to use a combination of 2 sets of buttons was confusing, but with use, it will no doubt get easier.

Love this! It works well not to mention it looks great in my kitchen.

Its small and cute. But more importantly it works as it should.

For the money it is hard to beat and is extremely easy to use.
