We love this frig! Purchased it for use in our renovated vintage camper. We were worried it might be noisy in such a small space, but just makes a soft hum when it kicks on. Have had many complements on its color. We are very happy with it.

Great little fridge for an upstairs master suite that goes with my big screen TV and lazyboy. The reto style looks perfect.

When you purchase a 2.5 ft mini-fridge you don’t expect a lot of room. But even with that in mind I feel there are better options available and I don’t recommend. If you are going to use to store a little food, a few frozen items or ice cube trays and the door provides enough storage for a few then this may work perfectly well. Below is what I found if wanting to use strictly for beverages; 12 oz. soda/beer cans will not fit on either the first or second shelf. I took out top shelf and tall 12 oz. bottles still would not fit – need about 3/8 inch more space. If you take out the drip pan from underneath the freezer area they do fit – but not sure what if any impact that may have on cooling, etc. and I was afraid beer might freeze, so didn’t try long term. 16.9 oz plastic bottles do fit on 2nd shelf though. My 12 oz. “stubby” craft beer bottles did fit nicely on second shelf. The bottom area can store 10 12 oz cans. If you take out small second shelf you could fit tall bottles in bottom but then you lose space on 2nd shelf. Positives; Light weight and easily moved around. Design is nicely retro – and this color does grow on you – and is unique. Keeps items very cold - much better than the other mini-fridge I have. Seems to run very quietly too. Plastic “locking” handle was easily attached but is for looks only – it is not functional. Which is probably a safety issue – I don’t think you can have locking refrigerator doors anymore. Door can store - 4 12 oz. cans on top door area. 4 12 oz cans in the dispenser door area and a couple of taller waters, milk, etc. in the tall bottle storage area. Sides and door are metal – top is plastic 1-year warranty Negatives No interior light! Cannot switch door to open from other side. Could have used just a touch better interior space design Plastic handle Overall, I don’t recommend as I feel there are better options in this price range.

We’ve been looking for a small refrigerator to place sodas and water in, and if it had any freezer space that would be a bonus. Just wanted enough room to free up some space in our regular refrigerator, then I saw this new “retro” style fridge in a “Surf Green” color and figured that would be perfect. It’s a very common color seen here in AZ and would fit right in. Unboxing and setting up: The unit is very well packed with plenty of Styrofoam framing protecting it from damage and there wasn’t a single scratch, dent or anything wrong with the unit. It’s also covered with some clear plastic covering on the sides protecting the paint which you’ll want to peel off. And inside the shelves were held in place by some easily removable tape. Also inside the instruction manual and door handle are in a bag. The handle you have to install yourself, and they’ve even included an allen wrench so you don’t have to look for a tool to install it. After attaching the handle to the door with the 3 included screws you snap on the outer cover and that’s it for getting it ready to use. According to the manual you will want to let it sit for 4 hours before turning the unit on, this is so that the oil can run back to the bottom of the pump just in case the unit was placed on its side at any time during shipment. There are also two leveling feet at the base of the front so you can get it leveled up while you are waiting. Use: After the 4 hour wait we plugged it in and turned the thermostat to the recommended 4 setting initially. I figured it would take a while to start cooling but within a few minutes the sides started getting very warm “which is normal” and the inside of the freezer box was getting very cold “pretty impressed with how fast this cooled down”. We waited for a couple hours and then checked, the inside was nice and cold so we loaded it up with some sodas and a couple items out of the freezer. I did notice that at the 4 setting it was getting quite as cold as we would want so I went ahead and set it just below maximum and that did the trick. Our drinks are extremely cold and the freezer compartment was super cold “more than plenty to keep our items frozen”. There’s plenty of room to fit 24 cans of soda, between the bottom shelf “10” cans, then 9 more easily in the door. The rest I put on their side on the other shelves “the height of the other shelves can’t hold a full sized can upright but the mini cans fit fine. Water bottles I just laid on their side on one of the other shelves and there’s room in the door for a couple tall bottles, two 750ml wine bottles should fit fine. Final Thoughts: If you are needing a small refrigerator and don’t want one that’s too big this one would be perfect for a game room, family room, wet bar. And you can place it so everyone can see it with its retro styling you really don’t want to hide it away. Our neighbors that have seen it love it and the color, they were also very impressed with how cold it got. It’s surprising just how much stuff you can fit into that 3.5 cubic ft, and the freezer, while being small, held enough stuff to free up some space in our regular freezer. The pump on this actually runs less than our regular refrigerator and it doesn’t look like it’s going to add much at all to our electric bill “not enough to where we are going to notice it”. We really like the retro styling, it’s not a plain old drab looking piece you want to hide away but something you’ll want people to see, “and they definitely notice it”. The only negative “minor” that I could find is that the one shelf isn’t adjustable, it’s fixed “you can remove for cleaning” but you can’t adjust it up/down which would be nice to have so you could fit full sized cans on one extra shelf, but for us, the way it is, it works out just fine. The pump also runs super quiet, you really can’t even hear it running and it’s much quieter than our full sized unit. We will be using this for many years to come and I’m sure you’ll be pleased with it and the design.

Adorable! Cold! Inexpensive! Love this tiny fridge!

We have been looking for a small fridge and got Galanz - Retro 2.5 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge. The price is reasonable and very easy to setup. It came with excellent packing. After unpacking from the box, I have installed the door handle, removed all stickers, and plugged the power cord. I have adjusted the knob and set to coldest. The fridge is very small and it has a stunning retro look. It has vibrant color. It is running very quiet and yearly electricity will be less than 30$. This fridge holds a lot of items and does not occupy much space in the dining room. I am impressed with the build quality, retro look, and easy to use features on this mini fridge from Galanz. I will be buying one more for my game room and highly recommend this mini-fridge.

So cute! Fits all my drinks perfectly. I love it. If there is one thing I would change, I would add a light to it.

I love it. Bought for my tiny camper and works great. Kept my wife’s ice cream birthday cake frozen with out problems.

This is a great little retro fridge! Well worth the money. Packaging was good. Fedex delivered at my doorstep with no dents or scratches or nicks. Just cut the packing tape and lift the box like any other appliances. This little fridge in avocado/surf green color is stunningly beautiful wrapped in a plastic. Gloss paint finish is amazing. My teen daughter fell in love with the color and demanded that she likes to have this little fridge in her room and so it ended up in her room. Installation is pretty easy other than removing all the tape and removing the manual. The faux stainless-steel handle with 3 allen(hex) head screws and allen key is wrapped in parchment paper/tight plastic and placed in one of the side shelf. Installing handle itself is easy, just to align the handle to holes and have the screws in and tightened with allen key. But the decorative faux stainless cover that goes on the handle is little tricky to install. If it’s not inserted properly, you may break the tabs that align. It needs a good push after aligned to get that in. Removed all the packaging (foam base/ adhesive tape) as instructed on the manual before turning it on first time. Plugged the fridge to the grounded outlet, and waited for around 6 hours by setting the temperature control knob to coolest before loading stuff inside. In coolest, there was little noise (noticeable) when it was trying to cool for the first few hours and gradually reduced after that once it started maintaining the temperature. Also, its energy efficient compared to other models on the market(advertised at an estimated yearly energy cost of $26 / 213kWh yearly) Overall, nice cute energy efficient fridge in a great finish and color that works great for personal spaces.

The Galanz Retro 2.5 Fridge with Freezer is a cool looking mini fridge with style cues from a 50’s diner. The Surf Green color with the chrome accents remind me of scenes of Lou’s Cafe from Back to the Future. Surf green was definitely a color of choice during the 50’s. Other than that, it is your standard mini fridge with the smaller freezer compartment up top. With the 2.5, I was able to fit 36 soda cans, 4 Monsters and a box of Snickers ice cream bars. I let the fridge run for a couple of hours before I packed it in. It took about 24 hours to get everything nice and cold with the temperature knob set to ½ past cold. Good to go. This fridge does appear a little taller than usual, but it’s mostly the plastic “fairing” up top to give it that retro feel. It does run hot at times and if you’re in a smaller room, you’ll feel the heat emanate from it. My guess is if the ambient temp is a lot warmer, the compressor will work a little harder. As I type this review, the unit is running very cool due to the central AC running at home. My only complaint about the 2.5 is that I cannot stand up cans on the top two shelves. It is about ¾” too short. I could probably get more cans in there with that extra space, but then again, 36 cans is dang good already. But if this bothers you enough, Galanz has larger retro models to choose from.

What an awesome addition to the man cave garage this mini fridge makes. The retro styling really adds a wow factor that catches one's eye. Add to that the cool look of the avocado green and it is a winning combination. Many garages and workshop spaces have become so much more when used for social spaces also and this Galanz retro mini fridge really creates a fun vibe that the typical mini fridge can't come close to emulating. The 2.5 cu. ft. size is perfect for keeping some beverages and food cold. The storage system in the door works well and the middle shelf is adjustable to make room for taller items. The quality seems very nice and the door maintains a good seal to keep everything cold. Shipping from Best Buy was great and the fridge is packaged well. Simply attach the fridge handle and remove the protective layer of plastic film from the fridge sides and one is ready to go. We strongly recommend this retro look if you're wanting to jazz up a garage, game room or dorm space. The colors are vivid and fun so what's not to like! This would make a great gift for the Dad that is hard to buy for too.

This mini fridge is compact and works exactly as expected. ...Though it is small, it has space that is practical and actually useful. For example, drinks fit in the door while the body of the fridge is large enough for fruit, cheese, bowls, Tupperware, etc. The freezer extends the entire width making it large enough for a few frozen dinners and also a box of waffles (See pictures for examples). The fridge and freezer share a single temperature control knob, but after about a week the freezer is still working well and is nearly frost free. Hopefully it will remain this way as defrosting requires unplugging and waiting for the ice to melt - which is never a convenient process. I appreciate that Galanz was able to provide retro style on a budget. This does mean that the chrome accents are all plastic, but this keeps the price low while providing a classic look. Example: The door handle is plastic and does not actually function as a latch. Instead you simply tug the door open. I also like that this mini fridge sits on adjustable feet that can be rotated to adjust height and ensure the appropriate balance. My only real complaint is that is that the fridge does frequently buzz and hum. My wife agrees that it does make more noise than our previous mini fridge. Also, it comes covered in a thin protective sheet of plastic that gets caught in the upper seam. I would suggest leaving the plastic film in place, otherwise you will probably need to unscrew the top plate of the fridge (which is plastic) in order to pull free the torn plastic fringe. The new color is not actually Avocado, but is called "Surf Green". It may be difficult to match, but it is beautiful.

We needed a small mini fridge for the upstairs. Our kids love cold water and sometimes they will get up in the middle of the night. We thought having one upstairs and easily accessible would be a great idea. We love retro and classic looks for our home decor and fell in love with the Galanz. After a week here are my thoughts. Pros: -Look: the Avocado color is amazing. I initially wanted the Red, but realized the Avocado blended well with our home. You’re met with the nice sleek GALANZ letters in silver with the Avocado backdrop. It’s beautiful to look at. -Storage capacity: 2.5 cu ft is a or of space for our needs. We were able to store about a dozen water bottles and a 1 L bottle in the door. There are several shelves where you can store as well as 2 door bins. There is also a full width freezer compartment. This would work well in my office. -Sound. It’s really quiet, hardly know it’s there. I’ve had other mini fridges were you hear the humming of the motor. The Galanz is a nice and peaceful experience. Cons: we’re told that the back warms up so we would have to keep it at least 6 inches or so away from the wall. So it kinda sticks out a little. Overall, we are really happy with this fridge. It’s a great look and design and really quiet. I

Sometimes a white or black fridge just doesn’t work… that’s where this was perfect for us. It fits in perfect with the playroom decorations. This was perfect for some healthy snacks, juice boxes, and some drinks for my wife and I as well. As part of this whole stay home more thing going around having that in the room that is getting way more use than it used to is just awesome. I haven’t had any issues with this fridge and it fit the bill that it just looks cool compared to other little fridges. There are four holders for cans and then a couple shelves and a tiny freezer that is perfect for popsicles. Overall I am very happy with this fridge and it is perfect for us. If you are looking for a fridge with more character I can easily recommend this one.

This mini-fridge is an energy-efficient and runs quietly. Pros: it has a retro design that adds sleek decor to my dining area. compact 2.5 Cu. Ft. is all what I need to store my cold beverages and candies, 2 plastic clear shelves, each shelf holds 10 cans of soda, small freezer compartment, and in-door holder can hold up to 6 can. Cons: Top cover of the fridge is made of plastic "I hoped it was made all of the stainless steel", no interior light. other than that, it is pretty and functioning well while adding a good decor to my dining area!

We purchased this for our rental condo. It's a small unit so we wanted to make sure it was quiet as it sits right across from the bed. It is fairly quiet, has adjustable shelves and is large enough to hold a few bottles of wine and many, many beers, along with ground coffee, condiments, butter and assorted small items. So far so good!

PROS: The fridge looks great...nice color and vintage style. Beverages are cold Not too loud but the room definitely sounds a lot more quiet as soon as it stops being noisy Cons: the big one is that the freezer is unreliable...I don't know if it's just mine but the ice cream melts and then refreezes constantly to where the ice cream gets ruined and sticks to the freezer through the wrapping. If I turn the temperature to "coldest" then everything else in the fridge freezes as well and I'm not sure if it helps with the freezer problem. There's room for about 2 and 1/2 to 3 twelve packs of cans and 1 bottle of wine in the fridge. You can set stuff on top of it but the top cover is just a hollow rounded piece of plastic.

This mini fridge is somewhere between the smaller and the larger of the mini fridge family, as such it offers a small freezer section. Perfect refrigerator for a master bedroom, nice to have cold beverages and waters in the upstairs area when desired, as well as a freezer section to hold cold packs for joint pain relief. Cool retro color is a winner.

OMG this mini refrigerator is so cute! Fit's perfectly and holds just the right amount for our home office. Haven't had any problems with the operation and it's super quiet. I am very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend it!
