Really comfortable controller for me, personally. First and most important, this is a wired controller. It’s not wireless. I happen to have my Series X hooked up to my 19 inch LED Computer monitor. My room in my apartment isn’t very big. So, my Windows PC is connected to the same monitor as by XBseriesX and NSwitch. Everything is within four feet of each other on my desk. I only sit 3 feet from my LED widescreen. That’s my setup. The controller, as I’ve stated, is really comfortable to hold. However, I think people with really big hands, who find the XB Elite 2 comfortable, will not like the feel of this controller. They might find it too small. The set up was really easy. I just read the instructions and hooked it up. Then connected a pair of “in ear” wired ear buds into the audio jack and started playing Call of Duty. So far, there has been no “Stick drift”. The sticks don’t use mechanical connections to move around. Instead they use Hall Effect joysticks, so there should be now stick drift. I will repeat, that what I like the most is the comfort. Since there is no rechargeable battery, the controller is lighter. This adds to the comfort. The soft ware is easy to use and I programmed the rear buttons to the L3 & R3 function. The software is downloadable from the XBox App Store and is free.

Feels extra light like it's cheaply made, but it works fantastically so far! Where it has hall effect triggers and sticks I don't have to worry about getting sick drift either! I've seen others complain about other cords not work but I've not had any issues using other cords so it's probably about the quality of the cords you try to substitute.

The GameSir G7 SE is a stellar addition to the mid-tier gaming controller market, offering an impressive mix of comfort, customization, and performance. Tailored for both casual and competitive gamers, it holds its own against pricier counterparts. Build Quality and Design The first thing you'll notice about the G7 SE is its ergonomic design. The controller feels sturdy yet lightweight, with a textured grip that enhances comfort during extended gaming sessions. The matte finish minimizes fingerprints and gives it a premium look. The buttons, triggers, and analog sticks have a responsive, tactile feel, ensuring precision in fast-paced games. Customizability One standout feature is its customizable faceplate. GameSir allows you to swap out or even design your own plate, which adds a layer of personalization rarely seen at this price point. Additionally, the controller’s software lets you remap buttons, adjust stick sensitivity, and fine-tune trigger responses. This flexibility makes it a great choice for gamers who like to optimize their setup for different genres. Performance The G7 SE excels in responsiveness. The low-latency wired connection ensures minimal input lag, making it ideal for competitive gaming. The analog sticks are precise, and the triggers have just the right amount of resistance. It supports Xbox and PC platforms seamlessly, with plug-and-play functionality that eliminates setup hassles. Features The built-in mic mute button is a convenient touch, especially for online gaming. The controller also includes vibration feedback, which adds immersion to games without feeling overbearing. While it lacks wireless functionality, the wired design guarantees consistent performance. Value for Money Priced competitively, the GameSir G7 SE offers exceptional value for its features. It’s an excellent choice for gamers seeking a high-performance controller without breaking the bank. Pros Comfortable and ergonomic design Highly customizable faceplate and software Responsive analog sticks and triggers Reliable wired connection with minimal input lag Compatible with Xbox and PC Cons No wireless option Limited to a wired connection, which might not appeal to everyone

To start, I bought this because I needed a controller that was mostly reliable, had back buttons and Hall effect joysticks. This controller offers that. After use of a few months it hasn’t shown almost any signs of wear or tear any where on the controller physically, but there was a major issue with the wired controller wire it came with. After a while the controller started randomly turning off and it became a more regular thing the more I used the controller. I searched up what the issue could be and it said the wire it came with was the issue. I ended up luckily having another usb c controller wire to replace it and it works just fine now with no issues.

An overall good controller. 3 months in I have zero problems with the controller itself despite playing with it for usually 3 hours a day. Although, the only reason I give this 4 stars is due to the sticks getting dirty easily

I am a huge fan of this controller. It feels great in the hand and because I’m plugged in, I feel almost zero delay. I play COD, 2k, FIFA, and I feel confident and competitive in all due to this controller. Make sure you get insurance just in case, anything can happen over time if you are a consistent gamer.

View and menu button placement is odd and right trigger is already starting to stick. The back buttons are cool tho. Hopefully hall effect means no stick drift within a year like all my official Xbox controllers.

Item is great haven’t had a single issue with the controller yet. Only thing I’d say that I hate is how apart the buttons next to the home button are. The Buttons just feels weird, but that may just be personal preference. Also the 1 month of ultimate can only be used on new accounts didn’t know that and almost threw out the card. Overall I feel like this controller will last me for quite some time. W purchase

I love that the top is magnetic the controller feels smooth and fits my hands perfectly. I don’t like how short the cord is but other than that I love everything about it and would highly recommend. I use it for my Xbox.
