Built in gps and collision warnings and lane warning this is the best camera for the money hands down get the park assist cable and it’s complete

Been using this dashcam for a few months now it works very well.

I loved this little dash cam so much I bought one for my 16 year old son for when he drives. Very easy to setup. The small size makes it easy to place around the vehicle without it being in the way. The collision detection is a little sensitive but for a young driver it does great to keep them a good ways back from the vehicle in front. The quality of video is great day or night and things are crystal clear.

Bought during the Black Friday sale so the price was right! No heat issues for me but I do not check it every time. Turns on and records...... Picture quality is good and has features like collision alert that show up on the screen. Only thing I wish it had was a better mount system. The current one is nice but would have liked to have had a screw in mount type system since there are larger variety to choose from. Otherwise this is a nice unit and will be purchasing another one when they go on a good sale again!

I went to Best Buy really looking for any inexpensive dash cam to use on a week long Jeep trip. This was on sale and had the Garmin name on it so I was sold. This dash camera more than met my needs. Installation and operation are easy. I put a spare 64GB microSD in it (that's the max size it will take) and that will more than suffice. The video is crisp and sounds are recorded with it. You will have the date, time, GPS coordinates and speed on the display. I like the travel time lapse feature. The two hour, 17 minute trip from Assateague Island to Virginia Beach yielded a 2 minute, 37 second video I could post. Although I really love this camera I gave it four stars. To get the videos off the microSD card in a usable format you have to use the Garmin VIRB app. Because the recording is saved in one minute chunks the app has to compile the clips into a video in order to save it to another device. The compiling does take a long time so make sure the dash cam is plugged into a power source. Despite this, I intend to upgrade to the Dash Cam 65 and give the 45 to my wife.

I found it easy to install in my 2016 Tundra. I am not sure if it is my truck or the power cord tucked in the headliner but the compass is acting strange. Otherwise the cam is excellent!

This dash cam is excellent, lets me save the trip whenever I like and it doesn't auto save to fill up space. This dash cam alerts me when there is a speed camera around, lets me know when the vehicle in front of me is moving it also does pre collision warning, lane departure warning, it has voice control and others. The mount is sturdy that you can have it in any angle you want plus its removable from he mount.

I have tried a number of different devices and this one is one of the better ones. very light weight, small size is great, easy to setup. video and low light could be better. lkas is great warns if lane wandering, impending crash.

Pay the extra money for a well known name brand. For the safety and security of your car, insurance and peace of mind, a $150 investment will avoid buyer's remorse with regards to a cheaper $50-$100 dash cam. I bought one for my first car, tried it out for a month and it worked superb, got a 2nd unit for my other car. The unit comes with all you need to get going. Set up is really easy, only difficult part at first is to figure out where you can run with wire along the roof, doors, floor and eventually to your 12V auxiliary power outlet. It has multiple safety features such has lane departure and collision alert. I have turned all them off as sometimes the alerts become a nuisance. Camera records well at night and day. I got a 32GB memory card and that's more than enough memory, the system is set so that when it's full it will write over the oldest file. File transfer to your phone is easy via wifi and the Garmin app. The files are viewed in one minute increments. I find that a little strange but still within reason. According to Garmin, keep the camera updated. It should not overheat when it gets hot outside. There's an auto-shutoff feature but it's not yet spring and the weather around here doesn't get that hot. I've found no cons for this dash cam yet. Hopefully it brings years of service without issue.

After having been in an auto accident and the crash report did not quite reflect what really happened, I knew I needed a good dash-cam. I looked through several brands and models with the Best Buy employee. This one was, and still is, the best one for the money. Clear pictures, clear video and very clear audio. All of these can be adjusted. If you don't want it to record any audio you can turn that feature off. The view at night is very clear. There are other features in case you have an older car... of which you can also turn off if you have a newer car. It has lane departure warning, too close to an object warning, warning you to brake, etc. Plus, it is very small and discrete. I put mine on the top left corner of my windshield. Unless you look directly at the windshield, you cannot see it from other directions. It is clearly visible from inside the car, but still small.

Love this dash cam. High def recording. Easy retrieval of video using smart phone. Had an accident day after purchase. Was able to pull video and show to officers when they arrived on scene.

I’ve owned one of these cameras for little over a year it’s compact easy to mount and easy to use. Has excellent video recording capabilities with Bluetooth connection for sending your videos to a cell phone. I’ve used this dashcam in hot environments as well as in extremely cold conditions and it’s worked flawlessly. I don’t leave home without it. Purchased this one for my Wife’s vehicle so I know she’s protected shoul something happen on the road. This is a great Dashcam you won’t be sorry. The reason for four stars is there are little glitches that cause you to have to power down the unit and restart but it doesn’t happen regularly so it’s not a big issue for.

I am very impressed with the HD video quality of this dash camera, however the battery life is not great. Only lasts a few hours before it needs to be charged again. Product was returned because it was more of a charging hassle than it was worth.

I have only had the camera for 2 or 3 weeks, but am happy with it so far. I purchased a larger memory card as the included one is only 8GB if I remember correctly. I put the sd card included in my Garmin GPS I use in the truck, so no waste now. I have looked at a few of the early recordings, and I am pleased. They are clear recordings that are easy to view and show good detail. The alerts for traffic cameras, lane assist, and vehicle accident detection are useful and can be adjusted in the settings if personally found to be annoying. Best Buy gave me a price adjustment of $30 for the Black Friday sales. I do like Best Buy service as they are very accomodating to do the right thing. All around I'm very happy.

5 Stars: Ease of operation, basically plug and play. 1080P Video quality is Excellent. Small size is very unobtrusive when mounted on windshield. Audio quality is also very good. All videos are automatically labeled with date/time, lat/long and vehicle speed

Love the miniature size and fits onto windshield. Has alarms beeping for warning you too close or red light camera which is a plus. Has GPS built in and video quality is great. Easy to install

It connected easily, records consistently, and I ordered more mounts for other cars. The only problem is the glue used to affix the magnet on the camera - and the dash pillow mount - it gets soft in the heat, so you cannot leave the camera on the pillow mount on the dash in heat or sun. Surprised they didn't use silicon with heat resistance.

Got the Garmin as a gift for my girlfriend due to all the aggressive and dangerous drivers she encounters on her commute to work. Already have some great videos on bad drivers on the freeway. Picture quality is great and there are tons of features to make recording easier.
