Very easy to set up despite no written directions, only pictures. The camera is easy to use and attaches via sticky substance and magnets. The transfer of video is made easy and quick using the Garmin app and the quality of video, sound and resolution is very clear and nice.

So far I'm pleased with this Garmin. I have used the RINO's for years and hope to get the longevity out of this. Disappointed it only comes with one mounting tab to attach to this windshield.

This dash cam is small enough that it doesn't obstruct my view. Also the windshield mount has a base that is an adhesive. An other camera I previously purchased used the suction cup method and would fall when I was driving. The picture quality is very good.

As a truck driver I need it one not just for security but to show my friends back home some stuff. Works great, records for 3:00 maybe more in the settings don't know since I haven't read the manual. Picture quality is HD very clear, easy to upload to your phone [android] and share online, only thing I didn't like was the 4GB MicroSD card as it gets full quick but I bought a 64GB I think so now it holds way more without overwritten some videos. Has the capability of record while parked [vehicle off] but you have to buy the Ifema required separately, overall awesome dashcam.

This is an awesome camera at a great price. The only difference between this and the 55 is the voice command controls, which most would never use anyway. Love the alerts it provides, like forward collision warning when you get close to a vehicle in front of you... Great camera!

Small and easy to use , I bought this after my accident very useful however it's easy drain battery

Easy to install. All the features work great with the exception of the lane deviation warning. This only seems to work perfectly at night. Garmin's user manual could be a little more detailed when it comes to aiming the camera. The rear end collision avoidance alarm works perfectly when set to medium.

camera is great (daytime and night), and the features it offers are pretty good. i do have several complaints though: a) no manual on how to use the camera (just the basics - everything else is on garmin's site), b) power source connection (huge pain to use the really long cable, and is not compatible with a regular usb), c) no explanation of what the "beeps" mean when driving , d) no replacement mounting metal disc is supplied with item - only replacement adhesive.

This is my first add on dash cam and it has exceeded expectations for the modest price. The options loaded are very to use and practical

The film is good and clear. This Is the second camera I buy. The last one lasted two years. And i was using it every day. Easy to use.

Id rate this a 8.5 out of 10. This is really compact and better to see more through the windshield love the WIFI remote download to your phone. Wide angle captures well and picture and video is clear. Had a neat feature of the lane departure and had to turn that off as it was going off constantly when we were not outside the lane even taking into consideration setting adjustments of location right, left or center window. Its over sensitive. Overall great buy for cost and its a Garmin quality built.

This Is A Good Dash Cam And Takes Decent Quality Photos And Videos However The Virb App To Connect To Your Phone Or Tablet Is Nearly Useless Extremely Slow When It Works But Most Of The Time Freezes Leaving The Only Option To Transfer Vids And Pics With A PC. Also The Camera Will Get Extremely Hot And Even Sometimes Shut Down..... I Have Returned This Dash Cam 45 And Purchased The Dash Cam 55 And No Longer Have Any Of The Problems Described Above.

This camera is very convenient. The magnet holder makes it so much easier to mount and dismount. A quality picture for such a small camera.

Great video quality and connects to your phone. Awesome thing about this is that it has a gps that tracks you and let’s you know when there is a seeps camera or red light camera.

A great dash camera I bought for commuting to Brooklyn.With a bunch of additional features like lane departure warnings, traffic alerts and ease of use would highly recommend.
