We use this camera in the truck considering as people drive crazy these days. Easy to take on and off as I don't like to leave it up if I'm not driving. Easy to take very clear photos and videos.

I'm very pleased with the Garmin Dash Camera. It works very well and was easy to install. It sounds an alarm if you are too close to the vehicle in front of you and if you are drifting out of your lane.

Very practical, simple to use, and very slick design

Garmin came out with this advanced camera to replace an older model. They reduced the size and added some bells and whistles. Very happy with purchase but as always, Garmin is greedy with its power plug. It takes a while cigarette lighter plug. You would think by now they'd go USB or at least stick a USB port on their plug. Also, they need to make it easier and cheaper to get spare window magnet mounts.

Within a month of purchasing this camera I had a driver come into my lane and hit my front fender with her back fender. She was crying and admitted fault. She didn’t have her insurance paperwork which would be an additional citation. I decided to be nice and not call the police. I got her license and phone number and we went on our way. After she texted her insurance info I made a claim. They said she claimed I hit her in an intersection. So I sent them the video as well as an earlier photo of her on her phone while driving. They settled at that point, hope she gets dropped! Lesson is “no more Mr. Nice Guy, I’m calling the police” and showing the police the video.

I've had this product for a while now that I decided to buy it for my wife as well and it's super small and the features that it has are amazing , you will not regret it if you buy one

My original Dash Cam failed to function and when the Geek Squad tried to detect the problem they determined it to be unfixable and replaced it under the replacement plan. However, for some reason, the replacement would not work as well and the Geek Squad could not get that one to function either, thereby replacing it the very next day! Thank Goodness! This one works better than the original and I am enjoying it very much!!!

I have this installed by a geek squad so I’m not sure how difficult it is for DIY. This camera is installed on my 2018 Honda Odyssey. It’s a great dash camera and so far since last year, it’s been performing flawlessly. The camera is small so it doesn’t protrude vision out front. I live in Los Angeles, so heat was somewhat a concern for the reliability of the camera but, again no issues. It has features such as Lane Keeping Assist, Alerts, Stop sign recognition, and a VIRB Mobile App used to import videos and photos from dash cam to your mobile device. The dash camera even alerts you when a traffic camera ticket is available on the intersection. Now for the cons, the features are kinda annoying. For example, the camera traffic camera ticket feature is annoying because, it’s GPS based so when I drive on the highway, it still alerts me even though the intersection is on the bottom of me. Secondly, the distance feature is crap because, once a car changed onto my lane he was extremely far out so it shouldn’t alert me but, it did. Ultimately I think it’s a good camera as long as if you turn off some of those features and if you can find one for around $140 as of 04/17/19. Any price higher than that is paying full price and this camera is quite old already. Thus, it’s a buy! Depending on the price.

The dash cam is excellent. It clears the vibrations and adds security to being cut off and brake checking. The clarity is superb and the videos are easy to download to your phone.

Camera works great and takes up little room. It gets the job done and has some great extra features such as lane departure alerts and collision alerts!

Dash camera has a good video quality and easy to use with no worries of losing files

I bought two of these and put one in my wife's car and one in mine. The first day my wife went to work and her car sat in the parking lot the camera is ruined. Mine still works but I'm in and out of my car all day because I work out of it and the camera is cooled when driving to my next stop, however in just the little time it does sit the screen looks like a water fall of color once it cools it returns to normal. I called Garmen I was told that there was a software update that should help and that they would replace the one that is no longer functional and that they would email me the link for the software and call Best Buy about replacing the damaged one.....three weeks later no email no replacement so no support!

This dash cam meets all my expectations and then some... I can not say enough good about it..easy set up great video and audio that you can turn on and off...

Small with a good quality picture. Has a moving traffic alert that does not work well all the time, but it can probably be turned off. Held to the window by a magnet with a metal piece that is held to the glass by a adhesive pad. My first pad did not stick well, but it comes with a spare. The magnet makes it very easy to remove and store. Nice long power cord.

This camera is easy to set up, easy to use and has a lot of great features. With so many choices I’m glad I stuck with the Garmin! You won’t regret this purchase.

One of the best little dash cams I have owned. It has lane departure warning, collision warning and traffic is moving warning. The picture is great and looks good in low light.

Easy to use, plug and play functionality. Video quality is great but it can get hard to see license plates should you need to zoom in. Specially in the dark.

Great size, effective and convenient. Very easy to use, haven’t had any problems.

Video quality is good for day time but not for night time. Alerts are useful and work very good.
