This hands down is by far the best truck GPS I've used. There's so many great features on it. First of all it has a great suction cup great quality and very sturdy. It's been on my truck windshield and it hasn't moved even after all those crazy bumps I go through on the road. The screen size is perfect with a bigger screen you get more map details and you can add your side information without compromising your map. Custom truck routing you just enter your truck profile and the GPS will find truck prefer routes best suited for your rig and load. This GPS provide a view of popular truck routes this by far is one of the best features and one of the reasons why I switched from the Rand McNally to this OTR 1000. Driving in unfamilitary territorry? See popular truck routes used by other truckers to increase your situation awareness. This has driver alerts driver alerts warn you about coming sharp curve speed changes railroad crossing and more. It also lets you know when there's a weigh station coming up. Another great feature that I like is the Live traffic feature very useful. This will show you construction zones, congested areas. If you run this and compare it with Google maps you'll be able to save yourself sometime by avoiding nasty traffic by rerouting. This has saved me delays numerous times. I really like how you can connect this GPS to your hotspot and it will get automatic updates. And to top it off when you link your phone to Garmin drive app to run with this GPS it will provide information on your GPS screen like text messages or calls. I don't know what other GPS can do this but this is a great feature this will actually read your messages and show them on the side of the GPS display. Don't think about it just get it!

The color wasn't as sharp as the smaller 6 in and smaller screens. Notification sound are more quite than the older GPS. For English speakers there are only 2 and both are female voices. The size a great. Fast response. It does take getting use to the change from am old Garmin to now a Android Garmin. I prefer the older style and louder clicking noise when pressing buttons.

Great product- the screen is big so you can really see where you are going. There are many features on this that are very easy to use.

The Garmin 1010 is a great GPS unit. They did a good job on the production. The display is large and bright so you can read it easily, even in the sunshine. (It has excellent resolution.) The voice recognition is a big improvement on the previous models. Reception of the weather and traffic through the cell data plan is excellent, but I chose not to use my cell phone so I ordered an HD traffic mount for $139 and receive the traffic that way instead. We are enjoying unit. I wish Garmin would offer the traffic receiver incorporated into the unit so we wouldn’t have to buy a separate mount for traffic.

It's easy to operate and large enough to see. I purchased another Garmin 2 months ago and it did not update all the maps and direction that I needed.

It’s a good product for a beginner trucker. I like the way it’s shows which lane to be in and all the rest stops and much more on way to your next stop. i feel it could better which it’s GSP. It’s sent me a long way then I need to . But once I got to my stop some trucker help my find a better way . Love the 10 inch screen and real glad I bought worth every dollar.

It is the best gps ever I had in my entire life I would recommend to all my friends And all truck drivers in all around the USA states

Perfect for a truck driver. The more you spend on the Garmin the better the quality and features. My husband loves all of the features and options

I haven’t used this yet as I’m awaiting my CDL test. I did open it and played with it from the couch though. This this is pretty big and is easily readable. I think it’s gonna work just fine. I did ask a couple of friends I knew that were truck drivers and they recommended the Garmin to me and they liked it a lot!

Best gps I have bought I have in the past year spent over $2000.00 on rand mcnally products and they all have the screen locked up this does great

Bright clear screen. Easy to use. Lots of features. Connect easily to phone and blue tooth ear piece. Has a host apps that can be installed.
