Bought this for my daughter. Easy interface. Nice sized screen. Great product.

Needed a GPS for an upcoming trip, and didn't have time to read instructions (like most of us), and remembering how difficult it was to use a competitor's GPS unit at work, I bought the Garmin unit. Basically, just had to charge the battery, press the icons on the screen, and put in the destination, and I was set. It really was about that easy. Without even trying one day, it 'spoke' the directions to me, which was better yet, so I wasn't distracted from my driving in an unfamiliar area. I love it. For any user from 'not tech savvy' to 'tech savvy', I think most folks that need a stand-alone GPS would find this Garmin a great GPS to use for navigation.

Can see very well, when backing up. The Gps was an added bonus that works well, for someone who does not have a smart phone. The main problem is having to remove it each time the suv is parked, to avoid theft. The suction cup only adheres to the glass windshield, so it is visible to anyone walking by or looking to steal.

The directions are correct, good notice is given, graphics are adequate.

Savvy and quick, easy to use. Lifetime updates was a selling point.

Took a trip across country in our 40' motorhome and used the new Garmin GPS. For the most part it took us on routes that worked for us although I used an atlas an overrode the system a few times as it cannot distinguish between driving a car and a large RV with a tow car that cannot maneuver the same as a car.

Purchased this Garmin around Black Friday and I like the larger size screen and that it is much brighter that my old Garmin. I cannot comment on how well it gets you to where you are going as I have not used it on any trips as yet but it has been updated and ready to go. I expect it will do well as it’s older cousin worked well on our trips.

Just tried out my new Garmin GPS. I have mixed reviews. This is my second Garmin, my first is on my motorcycle. I purchased my first 6 years ago and is very easy to use. This one is more confusing to use and had me scratching my head once or twice. But once I got use to it, it worked great.

The Garmin - Drive 51 LM 5" GPS with Lifetime Map Updates - Black is a great GPS. The size is perfect for clear viewing & the attachment bracket is very high quality. It provides all the necessary information for making every trip I've taken a complete joy. The information provided on the screen in very concise & easy to view. It also prompts wen the speed limits have change on all routes. After comparing all the specs on the Best Buy website I knew this GPS would fit the bill. Of course Best Buy provided the very best price which made the purchase a no brainer, thanks Best Buy.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my father, who of course, as others his age still uses a flip phone. With that being said, using GPS on his phone is impossible--he might as well be printing sheets off of MapQuest.com. The Garmin has up to date maps right out the box, and makes setup a ease--great display as well.
