This replaced an older GPS, without free updates. So this time around got the lifetime updates. Enjoy the enhancements/improvements since my last version. I probably would have liked the model with real time traffic alerts but won't use it often enough to justify the extra cost. Otherwise it does everything you expect!

The screen is large enough to show a lot of information. It is visible in all different types of light. And the roads appear to be accurate for my location. When I used this on road trips it was good enough to know about recent construction efforts and was able to direct me around them to save time. Great product!

Easy to set up, register and use. Gets me to my destination without any issues, redirects if their is an accident which is very helpful in Austin, TX.

Switched from a Garmin whose battery died (How about replaceable batteries Big G?). Lots of downloads required to update. You could tell they had problems with this model from the start. Minimalist unit. Slow to find satellites. Accurate routing. Lot's of warnings (curves, schools, speed limit change) - too much.

Great product and meets the needs when traveling.Top of the line GPS. I really appreciate that it comes with a life time map update! Very easy to use. And to boot, it was on sale at Best Buy!

Bought this right before a road trip to replace a 10+ year old Garmin. The new one auto selects the route and is a major pain to change that. If you deviate from a route for any given reason (road construction, wrong turn, etc.) it will not "re-calculate" and get you back on your way. It's up to you to find a new route. Real pain to use compared to the really old ones that were dead simple. Gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because some of this may be resolved by digging into the manual.

I bought this Garmin GPS unit to use during our periodic travel in rental cars, to enjoy having GPS without the exorbitant rental car GPS fees . I used it in the Rockies in September 2018, between Glenwood Springs, Vail, and Breckenridge, Colorado. The unit provided excellent voice commands and specific directions. It never lost contact with a satellite. It was simple to install in the car using the included cigarette-lighter connector and window connector. It was pretty straight forward to use. It took a while to get an update via computer at first, but I was able to do it and really appreciated having it during my travels.

I bought this Garmin navigation unit last month and I really am enjoying it because it so easy to use and accurate. Plus I like the fact that I can update the unit indefinitely.

My father-in-law travels a lot and needed something better than his outdated maps to guide him. It's very easy to use and he caught on quickly. Just for perspective, my father-in-law is not tech savvy and has an old FLIP PHONE! He took to it like a fish to water with a quick explanation from my husband (who set it up for him before the gift was open). We will update his maps for him when he comes to visit (since he doesn't have a computer OR internet). In fact, he just came for a visit and could not stop smiling or talking about his new GPS. He LOVES it! Best gift for those that travel a lot!

We had no trouble finding our way with the GPS. It worked great and we also love the fact that it would give me plenty of time to move over to the correct lane when having to exit. Also would give us the time of arrival and showed the speed in which we were traveling.

I bought this GPS after having an old one for 7 years. I had to change it as the maps had expired and I dont regret buying this. This GPS is very good. The features are really updated and it is worth every penny. Especially with big cities, it doesnt let us down.

Easy to use. It's an extra help for our 10-hour road trip beside our google map from iphone. The reception is good even in mountain area. The warning of speed monitor is helpful. It lets you choose to go through toll or not.

very user friendly. it's our 2nd purchase of this product, just upgraded to a newer model. only back thing was the clip design changed from the old ones and you can't just buy that piece. otherwise it's a great product.

Bought this as an upgrade and I am happy with my purchase. Better and faster than my previous Garmin. Very easy to use and the initial setup was straight forward. Works great and makes the driving much comfortable. My wife is very happy with the purchase.

I like this gps unit so much I bought this second one (one for wife at Christmas and one for me now). Besides being their latest (so it’s supported) it has lifetime map updates. I love the feature where it tells you the speed limit on most roads (those that have been entered into the database). I have the “beep” turned on for when coming up to a slower speed zone and that’s a nice feature. Because I have to watch my minutes on phone usage this unit is great since this one does not require Bluetooth to the phone.

This is the 5th Garmin GPS unit which I have purchased in the last 12 years. And that is not to say that I need to continually replace previous units, no, on the contrary it is because I have always been very satisfied with every Garmin product that I have ever purchased. A couple of them were for gifts, and others were for business vehicle and personal vehicles. The screen is very easy to see, the graphics are tops for this price category, and the many options make it a great choice for the money.

This is the third Garmin GPS I have purchased. My husband uses the first one and I bought another that was stolen out of my car. The price was very affordable. Very easy to use and I have found it to be the best for driving directions.

I love this GPS, big screen and easy to use. Also has lifetime map updates, you can't beat that.

Just attempted to put it to use 2 days ago, it seemed as though it was inconvenient to get it charged up , Otherwise once I learn the new features it should be OK. This is my 3rd Garmin product
