    This is the same as my old one, only sleek and new. I actually love that the old, familiar format is, reliably, there. No learning curve, just plug and play. Works great.

    This is exactly what I was looking for to replace the one that finally died on me after several years. It is very easy to read & to operate. Nice adequate sized screen...not too big & not too small, & doesn't block my vision while driving.

    I purchased the Garmin Drive 53 to replace a Garmin GPS that I have used for over 10 years. The Drive 53 is a perfect replacement for my previous unit. I often travel alone in in unfamiliar areas with heavy traffic. The voice prompts are precise and timely. I would recommend this GPS to anyone in need a small transportable unit

    My twenty-year-old Garmin had to be replaced. In addition to giving directions, this new one has additional features I like, such as showing what towns are ahead, how many miles, and what amenities they have (gasoline, food, etc.). I am still learning to use it, but I like it.
