This is my fourth Garmin GPS, and it is a nice upgrade from my previous model... Went from 4 inch screen to a 6 inch, and it really helps! Never been crazy about the suction cup mounting, so I use an optional mounting pad that just sits on the dash. I can set the unit on the floor when parked, so that is a much better use for me. I like the lifetime map updates. I am well pleased with this newer unit!

I have always liked Garmin. My previous one lasted nearly eight years. This particular Garmin is easier to use, especially when typing information. The size is perfect and is easy to read. The only problem I have experienced is when downloading updates, it did not include a "new" highway that I take, which has be in use for six months. Hopefully it will be available when I update again.

This is just a basic GPS but does everything you really need a GPS for. I liked being able to download the addresses from my old GPS. It is easy to edit and delete contacts.

When I first started using the device I encountered some technical problems, but once I learned how to properly put in the information and actually using the device, it not only became easier but I now wonder how I ever did without it. Once programed, it will take you wherever you need to go and with enough traffic and road hazard information as you will need to avoid problems.

Seems to be a major improvement over previous models. My concern is that this one is to replace the previous one that replaced the first one. They seem to die in the oppressive heat of central Florida. This one has many new features and is a marked improvement over the previous model. I'm pleased with it and can recommend it as long as you buy the extended warranty.

I bought this GPS unit when my 5 year old in dash unit quit working. Of course, it has 5 years of updates but it is as good as my in dash unit. The voice is even easier on the ears. I have only used it twice so far and it is very easy to enter data and search for locations. It also proved to be very accurate. I'm glad I didn't pay all that money for a new in dash unit.

I guess it's just better than my iPhone because all it does is navigation. It does it well, easy to understand and very accurate.

Works fantastic and the bigger screen really makes a huge difference! Great guidance..... But some very few routes could be better. Sometimes it takes you on a longer route rather than making it easier and more convenient - thus saving time and distance. Love the GPS though.

I like the screen size and colors. Software easy to learn and use. Fill up the saved location file with all possible stops before you go. There's always changes in my trips so having possible locations in saved file makes changes easy.

Does what it is supposed to do for the most part... but it gave us bogus directions once. Make sure you connect to a computer and keep it updated. The talking voice is pleasant. Directions are usually given with time to react. Good overall investment for peace of mind when driving to unfamiliar places.

Bought to get me to places I visit. Every time I've used it, it has taken me right to the doorstep for where I am going. Large screen makes directions very visible without be a distraction. Very please with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product to some one else.

Purchased this GPS for an upcoming cross-country road trip. The day I purchased it I logged on to GARMIN Express (as stated in the instructions) to check for updates. Updates were required and easily downloaded to the unit; however, once the updates were completed, the memory of the unit is almost full. Further updates will required the purchase of an optional memory card. With today's technology, adding a GB or two for follow-on update requirements is a no-brainer. Poor software engineering by GARMIN! The GPS worked well (for the most part) during this trip. The graphics are good and it recalculated quickly when I would decide to take another route. It did however tell me on two occasions that I had reached my destination "on the right" when actually the place I was visiting was on the left. An AC charger/power source would be a nice addition to enable trip planning from your home/office.

I like this GPS very much. It has a big screen and is easy to operate and understand. I would have given it 5 stars, but it took me the wrong way once on a trip with updated maps. I then pulled over and put my destination in again and it worked fine.

Bought my Drive 60 in June 2016. Its been used maybe 40 times in the past year and worked as expected. I had occasional problems with the touch screen sensitivity and accuracy. Sometimes you had to push hard to get it to respond, and then it might repeat the character 3,4,5,times. I tolerated that as "one of those things". Last night I plugged it into the car, set my destination for today, hit "GO" and watched it plan my route. I then shut off the car and left it overnight. When I went to depart this AM, the GPS unit would not power up. I brought it into the house and plugged it into my PC and it still won't power up. I like Garmins products, but I can't recommend THIS particular model. It seems like these things, ( like mostly everything nowadays) is built with "planned obsolescence" !

Our previous Garmin was horrible and so we replaced it with a newer version. This one works like a charm. Easy to setup and update with a much bigger screen. Directions are super correct and even gives a map turn by turn like map quest does.

This GPS is a way better GPS than our TOM TOM we had that would constantly try to turn you around and go back to the route it thought was the better way to go,.... This one is a lot more user friendly and recalculate almost instantly like it should. Very good GPS.

The old Garmin still worked but was pretty beat up, so I knew I would buy another one. It's nice that the screen is a little larger than the previous one. Garmin is easy to use and dependable. We tried another brand a few years ago and didn't like it all.

Letters and numbers are easy to push, you don't need a sledge hammer. Has notations for school zones, restaurants and gas stations. That's as far as I've used it. Haven't been on a long trip yet to know any more. Would highly recommend this particular GPS,

It took me a different route than I would have normally taken since my nephew set it up to avoid most bridges and traffic. It did exactly that..I had purchased a different Garmin GPS prior to this one.It had me lost while I was traveling between states,so I returned it..I was on the fence about purchasing another GPS system but,I decided to try the Garmin Drive 60lm GPS.I would not travel without it.I used it for a R/T 16hr drive and loved it!! Make sure you charge it and update the programs once you get it at home.

Once I was able to download all the maps and get acquainted with how to program and use it, it has provided me with quick and easy directions to every place I have asked to go, saving me a lot of time and worry.
