It is portable. Works good for USA and Canada. Prefer to take this one. Really used invested money.

The only complaint we have is that when you plug it in to power it up or make sure it remains powered, the screen does not pull up. Not a good thing when you are driving in the car and want to plug it in to make sure you keep your connection. Otherwise, gives good directions and has most up to date info.

When I noticed this item on sale I decided to use it with the rental car on a 12 day trip in the Canadian Rockies. I updated all maps just before the trip. Unit found The Alberta location with no problem and continued to perform great all the way through the trip. What sold me on the unit was the lifelong free updates of the maps both US and Canada. The price of the unit is less then what it would cost me for a one time map update for the GPS in the car so I will be using this unit as backup on longer trips knowing it has the latest version of maps installed.

My Garmin - Drive 60LMT has been so very helpful in my travels into Canada and across the USA. The updates are easy, the screen size is great, but finding a surface in my vehicle that I can adhere it to has been a challenge.

I had a TomTom Gps for quite a few years until the product was no longer supported. I decided to buy this unit because it has maps of both US and Canada where I travel frequently. This unit performed much better, updated a lot faster out of the box and directions were easy to follow. My first trip with this unit was to Metro LA area in California and this unit routed me so that i had to fight the least amount of traffic. LA traffic is harsh, this found routes that avoided me the frustration of it all. If there was a delay on the route the unit notified me and was pretty accurate in its calculations. I would recommend this unit if you want to purchase one

The Garmin Navigator work great even in the Sierra Mountains. I purchased for my son and it's installed maps work great, plus you can update it for the Area and there's a lot more with the added GPS tracking that remembers where you've been,

This GPS works well, it likes to route on the interstate even when not wanting interstate. It works well and the maps are pretty well up to date. I would buy again.

This is a Great GPS , tells me every turn . Went to the NHRA races other day , did a fine job . This my second Garmin over the years . They are the BEST .

I purchased two of these. Extra large screen, 6.0 in replacing an older Garmin with 4.3 in. Newer unit connects faster with Satellites and adds stop signs, traffic signals instead of just stating the road name. No voice controls, only touch pad.

This is a very good GPS. It is the best one I have ever had. No issues and works well.

I got it on sale so it was worth the cost. It works well and I have not had any problems with it.

I purchased this Garmin to upgrade an older product. used it immediately as I had many remote customers to service. Got me to all locations without fail. Large screen is an asset.

Yes I could use my smartphone for navigation, but this is better. Verbal prompts and dash mounted screen helps to keep my eyes more on the road. Plus more features than smartphone navigation.

I bought this for going on trips. This device tells me almost everything from speed limit to speed cameras. I am very pleased with this speacily with lifetime updates.

I specifically wanted a GPS for North America that includes Canada. And this is very accurate and precise device, letting you know about the curves ahead, school district and everything and the best part is the life long free updates.

This things it’s a bit slow finding your location and it dies quickly so don’t forget the charging cables if you doing a long trip because it might just be good one way.

I bought this for my daughter; she was getting ready to make several long trips. I tried it out for a few days before left and it was great. Spot on with directions; it even tells you when there is a curve ahead.
